Welcome Amy,
You picked a good plan. Weight Watchers is a healthy, proven plan that has been around forever! They have weight loss down to a science. Follow your plan and you WILL loose the wait. It won't be tomorrow and you may stall along the way so you have to stick to it when that happens and you will be successful.

Default Take it slow

Seems awfully quick to jump into the weightloss mode! I'm sure WW will guide you with how many points or whatever to have, but if you're breastfeeding, you will probably drop some weight that way You just don't want to lose too much too fast. Good luck!

Amy, welcome and congratulations! Is your baby a boy or a girl?

I admire your determination to get healthier-- WW at Work has worked for me. If you're a woman (like I am) who finds it easier to do good things for others than for yourself, think of your baby. With less weight you'll be able to sit your baby on your lap, keep up with your child at the playground, and dance all night when you're mother of the bride or groom.

For now, get in whatever exercise you can. Since you'll have little spare time bring the baby with you. Take your baby for walks in the stroller. If you have someone reliable to watch the baby, use that time for yourself, either to work out or to de-stress. Remember the old saying, If mama ain't happy ain't no one happy.

Best of luck with parenthood and your weight loss goal!
