Default W.O.W. Labor Day Challenge~Week 2

Heres this weeks thread!

Wow did I oversleep this morning. I think I got one leg off the bed and woke up that way two hours later. So my workout will be taking the kiddos for a walk this morning. maybe I will load up their bikes and go to the track to run.

I am keeping on plan today:

W 64 oz
E 60 minutes of active exercise (somehow)
E 1200 planned cals
D house work, stick to my plan, housework.

G'Morning WEEDies! Another good week in the can! I saw a 254 on the scale this morning, but that is with a high sodium, not-exactly-on-plan weekend. Saying that, I haven't been as bad this weekend as I have been before. Or maybe I just DON'T feel guilty about it. I did eat Taco Bell last night. But I'd eaten good all day. And I haven't had ANY fast food in almost three weeks (not counting Subway or a McD grilled chick salad) and I gotta tell you, that stuff ALWAYS disappoints! You just get these mad cravings, but then eat them and feel like crap but at least the craving has passed. Darn commercials anyways, making it look so good. Then you get some soggy tasteless bleck. Anyways.

Oh Jeni, thank you so much for the 2 bras while jogging advice! It has CHANGED my life! I should wear double bras for EVERYTHING! What support!

I NEED to get to the gym this week! I'm dressed to go now. Robert's friend called this weekend to see if he wanted to come to bible school with him this week, so I pick him at noon, and we're heading STRAIGHT for the gym, no excuses, right!? I had my oatmeal and watermelon, 1 liter of water, and READY TO GO. I work tonight, gym tomorrow afternoon, work tomorrow night, gym Wed afternoon, Thursday I think I'm going to the casino (oh BTW who asked where I go? I go to Mountaineer, right over the border into West Virginia, it takes me about 1 hr to get there) but can go to the gym Thursday afternoon or evening. Friday I work but if I get motivated I can work out that morning or afternoon. I should be able to get there. Saturday I can wake up early and go.

Sorry, just needed to plan it out in my head. But after working friday night, I AM ON VACATION for two weeks!!! Woooohoooo! We leave for Jersey early early Sunday morning, and will stay til Wed morning, then stop at Dutch Wonderland in PA on our way home, stay over there, and come home Thursday. Short but fun trip. Mike has dental surgery the next monday morning.

Hope the newbies pop back in! Can't wait to hear about someone's fun weekend in Havasu! Talk to ya'll later. xoxoxoxo Michelle

well i made it back here, so that's good!
my birthday is on wednesday but my darling hubby gave me my present early...it's a bio-trainer. i have wanted one for a while now and i hope it helps me lose weight (it's kinda pricey). if you don't know what it is, it's like a pedometer but instead of tracking steps it tracks calories burned. they have a website where you can track your calorie intake and at the end of the day you log you calorie output and your intake and keep track of your deficit (hopefully). I am hoping it will help keep me on track as far as eating in my calorie range and making sure i move my booty.
so on that note my WEED for today is:
W: 2 bottles
E: 30 minutes cardio
E: 1400 calories
D: One definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. Today I will do something different.

Very cool GA I'd like something like that.

Well despite the mindless eating and lack of water this weekend I am happy to report a small loss. .3 but i'll take it. I did get some exercise in yesterday....when we moved we put everything in the garage. We cleared most of that out.........bring boxes and 2 person items in the house. I'm really sore, really tired, and my room's very cluttered with boxes.....

but my treadmill's ready to go. I would've been on it this morning however that whole going to bed at like 2 am and then waking up around 4 wide awake, just for DH to put me back to bed and then the alarm going off at 6 wasn't great. Tonight when i'm done with schoolwork (yes it's a late assignment ) I will prepare everything I need for tomorrow.

Today at work I am stressed. I am the only person in my position here today...and i'm supposed to be happy about it.

DH leaves today for a week trip...he'll have fun i'm sure. he always does.

Hey everybody. I was on early this morning and didn't see a new thread yet, so thanks Jeni!!! It is nice to see new people joining in. Welcome to you all. Well TOM made an early arrival today and the scale was down to 213.8. About a month ago I got that low and then did that up, down thing. So I am hoping that this time around I get a little lower and stay there. 210 is the number in my head. If I can get there at least by the end of the month, I'll be thrilled.

Yesterday I was busy all day. I even went for an hour long walk with jogging thrown in the last half. I guess I did about 4 miles. I read somewhere lately that 30 min. of exercise is good for maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle. Now, to lose weight you should work out for 60 min. Really?? I have been doing about 45 so thought I'd throw in a 60 min WO just for fun. Well I lost a pound, with TOM's help too I bet.

Jeni- Have fun with the kids today. You will find a way to get that workout in.

michelle- I have Taco Bell once every few weeks. It is not that bad. I have a gordita-310 calories and a soft taco-210 calories. That's not a bad dinner. Good job planning those workouts. And vacation is coming. Yeah for you!!!

Amy- I have heard about those monitors. I believe the Biggest Loser used them, called body bugs. They sound very helpful. Have fun using it. I hope it helps.

Holyt- I'm sure it seems like the moving in will never end. There always seems to be just a few more boxes to empty. Well you got the treadmill set up. How nice to have a spot where you can workout.

W-2 bootles
E- 1400-1500 I haven't hit that in a few day now. I've been around 1200-1300.
E- Not sure yet, but I'll figure it out later. Maybe some Jillian and walking. Shoot for 60 min?

How annoying is this!? I got myself all psyched up to actually GO to the gym, picked up Robert from VBS and went to the community center and the woman at the desk stopped me and said, "You do know the child care is closed right?" and I said sure I knew that (summer hours are like 9am-12n only) and she said I couldn't take Rachel in there because she's too little, under 4 must be under supervision. Well we've ALWAYS taken them both, so they just play around in the open gym! And the girl got all snotty about how "that's ALWAYS been the rule" blah blah blah. So no gym for me! Whatever. I thought about calling the in laws to ask them to watch the kids for a while so I can go (actually I would go to my ladies gym, I only went to the community center SO the kids COULD play in the gym! My ladies gym has a childcare too but it is very expensive and I didn't pay for it) But I guess I'll just come home, clean and rest up for work tonight. I'll try to do the steps or my lunges at work I suppose. I work with that chick that drives me nuts.

Be back later, I might as well try to get some sun so I don't FRY on vacation.

no this is his work trip. That's what he does for a living..he flies out with his crew and they take parts and people to other bases.

he won't be getting another vacation this year. not like the one he had in february. when I say his "trips" i mean his regular job.

I am going alone though. I'm meeting up with another lady i met here on 3fc. work is really frustrating me today but hey what's new there right? New way of doing it, same old me gettin screwed over. but i digress.

I managed to walk at lunch, then ate some carrotsticks, 3 hotwings, and one slice of pizza. Finished one bottle of water and working on another.

Hi again! Well, I had a good week last week. Despite being at a baseball game on Saturday, enjoying pizza and some wine on Saturday night and completely grazing yesterday afternoon, I managed to pull off a 1.8 lbs weight loss last week! :-)
Now the bad part, I didn't do so great today. This afternoon I was stressed and just started to snack! I feel horrible about it! I made those darn black bean brownies and those got me started yesterday afternoon! I put them in single severing baggies... I think I need to throw them out! I need to stay away from baked goods, low fat or not!! ARG!

Hi girlies!!!

I'm back... got off to a late start this AM and am now stealing a few quiet minute to catch up!

Jenski and Leeda ... welcome! Gahundy... glad you found us for week 2!

My weekend - or ways for a big girl to get exercise on the river !
The new boat ran fantastically! It was hot (106) outside but being able to jump in and actually climb a ladder back onto the boat, as opposed to do shamu like maneuvers to reboard with out a ladder on the bass boat, was very nice. We bought a tube - Mable - and BF had a luxurious 5 hour of torture-towing myself and my son on it. WHAT A WORKOUT! I can't believe how sore I was! And sunburnt. It was a blast! Once again, by no means the skinny girl in a 2-piece but I rocked it with what I had. I figure this the body I have at the moment and I'm not gonna not enjoy myself just because I don't look like a 12 year old boy with fake boobs in a bikini. Plus, the extra weight made the tube ride a bigger challenge. I caught air... It was hilarious! Next adventure... Mohave in 2 weeks AND (listen up Nchelle) it includes staying in Laughlin for 3 night which = slot machines and bingo! I love summer!

So glad to see Grazie popped in. We miss you!

HolyT - been watching "Snapped", a show about chicks in the clinker for making their loved ones take permanent dirt naps. Hope I don't see you on TV. You be strong and stand up for your self! I trip alone sounds dynomite!
Gahundy - Happy B-day in case I don't get back before Wednesday

Morning everyone! Oh man, insomnia hit me last night. Tommy woke me up at 1130 soaking wet, so I cleaned him up and haven't slept since (its about 230 now) It's a workday so today will be workday weed.

I didn't get much in the way of sleep either. I did grill the heck out of veggies lastnight, and if that one stupid piece of pizza didn't call me while I was putting it in the freezer I think I would've been ok.

I need to go back to bed but I have to go put my face on for work.

I am here, I am just moving slow. I didn't get enough sleep last night either. Mike (dh) had a bad back night and we were both up all night. anyway, so yesterday i drank a bottle and a half of water (almost there) and i stayed close to my food calorie range and i did treadmill for half an hour. my new calorie counter is not working and i am trying to get in touch with the company to see how to return it for a new one. of course no one is returning my emails or my phone calls. i am trying to be patient, it's only been one day but i really wanted it and i wanted it to work! today is just not a good day for WEEDing, but i am here at least.
hope my ranting doesn't scare any of you, i just let it all go from time to time.

Didn't scare me away (either of you Amys!)

But I only have a minute to BRAG~I went to the gym! Kids were in daycare, so I went to my ladies gym, feel SO good. 20 min cardio, 30 min lifting/abs 10 min cardio, was too whipped and my favorite machine (ARC trainer) was occupied and the other one was 'out of order'. Ah and the double bra bind! What a blessing!

Two more shifts til vacation! 5 days til the BEACH!
