Has anyone tried provestra? I have a such a low libido that it's in the negative numbers by this time. I do not desire ANY sex with ANY man! This is tearing my relationship apart. I looked up female libido enhancers and found provestra. I can't seem to find any testimonials on the web... Just wondering if anyone has tried this and if it has worked?
I'm desperate at this point for SOMETHING to help me want it at least once a year... lol

I haven't tried it, but my libido is so low too. My bf and I had the "we're not having enough sex conversation the other night. I'd love to hear more about it and if anyone has anything to say about it.

:o Well... I ordered it because it has a 60 day guarantee. I ordered two boxes which is 60 days worth. (total of $99 with shipping :fr::eek:) You take one a day and if I'm not satisfied after that I have a total of 67 days to return it. So a week after I finish the two packs. The one thing I read that terrifies me is that it is also known to be used to help fertility. LOL oh ****... I do not want kids and have mirena so I do NOT have any... that's all I need is a boost to my baby makin organs! :dizzy: I can't wait to get it and see if it works... I'll have an update when I get it...

If that doesn't seem to so it I would go see your Dr.....trust me they have heard it all. A low desire for sex can mean many things and if you don't want to see a Dr a sex therapist can do wonders :)

Good luck!

I actually talked to my old dr about it and he said that it's not the problem at hand here... i have more important medical problems (like my back, even tho i wasn't there to see him for my back- and it's not like i can't have sex b/c of it...yeah it causes pain but so does moving... should i not move?!) so he wasn't worried about it and told me to relax... lol i told him i can't wait til his wife catches it and left... i was soooooooo f.p.o'd i wanted to hit him. He basically told me it's not a problem and to get over it and made me feel like an idiot for bringing it up... i wanted to hurt him.

How was your experience with it? I found out that Provestra is like the female viagra of today. I had a terrible sex drive and would never really be horny when I needed to be. On top of that I would never really be wet which was problem when I did have intercourse.

I found this forum a couple weeks ago and since then, I've tried Provestra and let me tell you what. If you felt like I did, then you are 100% satisfied. I now am horny when needed to be along with having the best orgasms I've ever felt.

At the time I saved on it at herenhancement.com which was very helpful in getting enhancing info and information on the herbs inside these enhancers. That's another thing that was amazing. They are natural herbal enhancers that don't give off side effects either.

So how was it with you?

:?:So far it hasn't done anything that I can tell. I've taken it for almost two weeks and am hoping for at least a LITTLE bit of help from this stuff...

I got a new doctor after the last one begged me for a black eye... lol ok so not really: he didn't beg me out loud but he might as well have instead of saying what he did.
and oh boy am I on medicine!! I'm a walking pharmacy!
I am on
**Mobic (Meloxicam) 15mg once a day (anti-inflammatory)
**Skelaxin 800 mg 3 to 4 times a day (muscle relaxer)(only take one or two a day unless it's a bad day w/bad muscle spasms and cramps)
**Ultram ER 300mg once a day (pain killer that doesn't work!! and is suppose to be non-addictive but when I stopped it I got withdraw migraines! go figure)
**Bupropion HCL SR (welbutrin sr) 300 mg once a day (anti-depressant)
And I have a Mirena IUD-- fairly new only about 2 months.

BUT I had these problems with my libido ever since I can remember. I've only ever had one partner who I am still with and never ever want it--EVER!
I'm broken either physically or psychologically or both... most likely both.:(

Devadiva, teresa54 DOES work for them and has been banned for spamming our forum. She also spams "male enhancement" patches :o

Since this post will make no sense to anyone else, lol, a spammer posted here and the spam was deleted and the spammer was banned :)

A person who's first post is to advertise or push a product is generally a spammer. I made the comment so those who are not used to these types of comments would not take that person's comments as a "real" endorsement of the product. As in- a regular person who has bought the product and used it and received a true benefit from using it.

Low libido is a serious concern, shouldn't be taken lightly. And should be discussed with your doctor.

I agree 100%! I opened that thread only because I was surprised to see this product mentioned here. I notice right away the one this was the first last and only post for "getinshape1-2-3".

Here is my "unendorsement": This stuff is crap, don't waste your money on it.

So many medications can cause sexual dysfunction. Anyone on medication for high blood pressure and depression can have sexual problems. Chronic pain is another culprit. These are serious issues that can't be resolved by talking heads on late night TV!

I agree with Sarahyu as I originally said in this thread. If your doctor doesn't 'get it' then look for a second opinion. I'd talk to a gynecologist over a GP about this but a GP should be supportive as hopefully have some information.

I actually finally broke down to see my doctor about this problem. I didn't really think anything about it until I saw on one of those morning shows that a sexless marriage is less then 6x a year. Oh, dear....

The doctor started out with the "well it is a mental or emotional thing mostly" "Yeah, I know that, let's get the hormones checked first and then if it's all in my head I'll work on that later." So I had the blood work done on Friday. So we'll see.

Warning!!! Check with your insurance before getting testing for low labido. I went to the Dr and got blood work to see if I'm hitting menapause yet and he added testosterone levels.

He coded it all for low labido and now my insturance company isn't paying any of the blood work and won't cover the doctors visit. I'm out of pocket over $500. Because they don't cover sexual problems.

I'm absolutely furious! Blood boiling furious. I mean, I'm not asking for a sex change operation. I bet those little blue pills are covered for the guys.
