How is everyone doing today?

Been keeping myself focused on WW, trying to keep within my points and not over indulge. I struggle every now and then such as not having a lunch. You would think that I would be going over my points rather not getting enough!

I can just see myself hitting a "binge" day if I continue doing that. So I need to do much better. Exercise is still on the back burner. Been enjoying the weather either working in the yard or doing absolutely nothing! MUST get to working out.

Sue--How are you doing? How is your mom? You say you feel like a slug, but my goodness....you are a busy slug! I need to catch up on some of my housework.

Pat--Have you been able to work on getting visitations with your dog? I sure hope so. Your pup needs you too.

Mindee--Mandatory couple time is what all couples need. Keeps the fire burning!! I think it's great that your DH is planning a party for you.....surprise or not!

Trish--Thanks for letting us know about Jane. Sounds like everyone is trying to get their homes cleaned up so we can enjoy the holiday weekend. Not sure what I'm doing yet....depends if hubby works or not.

Diva--Welcome back! Now.....did we call you by another name or do you want to go by Diva?

Angie--Were you not able to have the day off? I hope you got to out tonight and do some celebrating. We all need time to just enjoy. I hope your back is feeling better. I sit all day also and have a horrible habit of sitting on one leg while I work........not good.

Sassy--I'm am happy to hear that things at work are improving!! That's great! I have been tackling different rooms in my house too. It's such a mess. My scary room is the laundry "everything else" room! REALLY needs cleaned out!!

Ellen--Hello busy mom to be!

Jane--Hello to you if you get time to pop in here!

Hello to anyone I have missed!

Well I think I'm going to get off the computer and relax a bit. Hubby should be home tonight so that will be nice!!!

Have a good night everyone.

doing my nightly pop in........carefully! I am repainting my nails, and so I am trying not to screw them up!

we decided to go up north to see my parents on Friday. not staying over night, just going up for the day. so it should be nice, my mom just sent Tommy an email and said to bring every body's suits because the pool is open.

we are going to pick up some of those nutrition supplemental drinks for Logan. He hasn't really had that big of an appetite lately, and Tommy was cleaning him up after his bath, and said that he could see and feel his ribs. not that long ago he had a gut on him, so I am hoping for a growth spurt!

Tommy mentioned to one of the lady's at his work that he is going to be starting the SBD and she said "you are going to be starving!" then she told him that a neighbor, I think, of hers is on it and has been for a couple of months, and she has already lost 40 pounds.

Hi all.

I have the biggest headache and have had it all week long! UGH! No matter what I take it never goes away!!! Or if it goes away it comes back!! Annoying!!! Esp when trying to work! lol. Aw well at least its MY Friday!!!! :carrot: Is it 9:30 AM yet? (<--when I get off of work) lol.

Marti -- yeah it sure makes the work "environment" a lot better. lol. Also I found out more and more people have had the exact same issue with her and have gone and complained about her. So lets hope shes learned her lesson otherwise she may not be here too much longer. But so far, so good! lol. Our ""scary" room is my DH's office. It is a NIGHTMARE! :yikes: I may start on it this weekend, we'll see!!!! lol.

Hey All............

NEWS!!!NEWS!!!!NEWS!!!!

DH told me that he just heard, they are moving him to MY shift (same hrs and same days/nights!!!!!) :carrot: Now even more news. I think I have mentioned here about them putting DH & My teams under different management. (My team is under completely different management now) Well its going to be even more of a split.

They will be moving my team, again. We don't know where and most likely that will include me and the other nightshift girl too, which means we will be sitting alone for 10 hrs. (We work 2.5 hrs with dayshift).

But you never know with my co. as you all have come to realize I am sure. So nothing is "set in stone" until it happens, or at least that I how I am looking at it. lol.

But its news just the same.

DH thinks that our supervisor (for now we still have the same one) got tired of dealing with him being on days so I think he "cracked" and decided to give DH what he wanted: to work the same shift as me. lol. Amazing what persistence does!!! lol. Even if we aren't working on the same floor, at least we'll be on the same shift, that is until our new management decides to change my hours........again. lol. But still if we are both working the same nights and on the same shift, that is fine with me! lol.

Well that is about it, I just wanted to share with someone and my mom is at work and I don't want to call my mil because she'll end up talking my arm off and I don't want to talk that much! lol.

Well my mom just popped online so I got to tell her!!! lol. She was happy for DH & me. She said her shift has changed from 11 am to 8 pm to 2 pm to 10 pm. I told her, "Welcome Back to Nightshift" lol.

Oh and so far *saying this very quietly* my headache has gone!! Lets hope it STAYS that way! lol

Big

Morning ladies...

I've got a few minutes before I need to leave for work and thought I would pop in.

Mindee--Are you and hubby doing the SBD? If so, I think it's great that you can doing something together. Hubby wants to gain muscle and I want to lose weight.......makes for different types of eating but does help with the encouraging each other.

Sassy--Sorry about the headache but hurray for the same shift with hubby!!! I miss working the same hours w/my hubby. It was nice to work the same days and have the same days off. (different departments) Now.....our schedule couldn't be anymore complex with him working "on call" type of hours!

All is well here. Still not really exercising but eating clean. Keeping within my points. I've started writing out menus (or idea's for menus) that I can follow so I'm getting more out of the WW program. Maybe I'm just not as focused on things as I thought I was!! Really need to figure something out.

Ok......only two more days and then it's a three day weekend! Whoo hoo!!

What are all your plans?

tommysgirl18
07-02-2008, 02:22 PM
just doing my daily pop in......

Tommy is going to pick up some more swimmers, and we will more then likely take the kids to the pool at some point in time today.

Marti~ We are going to start it 100% together when we go grocery shopping the next time. he told me that he could lose the weight just by cutting out pop. I said yeah, but if I do that, my boobs get smaller and that is it! he told me that he is going to start going back to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays...he has a lifetime membership to a gym and it is just sitting in his wallet.

Hello alll

Marti,,,I found that I struggled to eat all my points too,,,and exactly what you said you could feel a binge coming,,,be on that before it happens.
I try to stand every so often and stretch,,,its hard since Im on a time crunch to get my manifests done.

YAY Sassy,,,Im glad your hubby's schedule is like yours now. Its seems we are all on the same schedule at our house...wake at 4:30 am,,,I work the longest it seems,,,,blah

Mindee that would be great for both of you to be doing the program together. AS for Logan not eating,,,could be the heat,,,I know both my boys were good eaters then not. Id just blend,,,milk bananas together and make a *milkshake*

Well Im a few days behind in my manifesting still...can't wait for my boss to get back so I can take a breather. ITs a real struggle.
Then we had our Scanning clerk take a few days off...starting Friday...did the manager remember to call a temp office? Nope,,,so as a joke I said its ok Ill bring Tanner and he can do it...his response,,,ah man that would be great...and he was serious. So Tanner is going to come into work for a few days,,,its easy peasy work. Would like him to do some manifesting,,,ha ha and give me a break.
Not sure if he can handle 5 am wake ups tho...ha ha

well Im gonna go and get supper done,,,,Monte starts it I try to finish it.
night all

fricker fracker! I just typed up a somewhat small novel, and then hit the fresh button for some odd reason, and it was all gone!

I am dragging but majorly! Brandon was up at 2am, and then at 2:45 I went into his room and got him. brought him into our room, which then woke Marissa up. so, after a bottle, some medicine and laying her back down she was good to go!

fast forward to 4am, and I heard Tommy say that he was going out to sleep on the couch since he got kicked off of our bed. I roll over and proceed to fall asleep.

I get jolted out of bed at 6am to Tommy's alarm going off. I drag my butt out of bed to go tap him awake, then drag my butt back to bed. climb into bed, and proceed to fall back asleep until 9:30am!

Hi Ladies, It is a rainy day here. It is cool. Boy did I sleep in.

Mindee~I would be tired too. Maybe you can grab a nap this afternoon?

Sassy~Hoping things will work out better for you now that you all are on the same schedule. Time together will be better too. Not the one is trying to wind down while the other is trying to get ready for work thing.

Everyone else have a good day! I will catch ya all later. Pat

Mornin' all.

Thanks for all the kind words about my DH's shift change. I am just so thankful that we'll be able to spend time together again.

Oh and if that wasn't enough "Good News" here is more.......DH told me that a girl on dayshift stood up for me to that woman who said those mean things. I guess she was downing nightshift, again. So this girl stands up and says to the mean lady: "How would you know? You've never even worked one night!!! Those girls (me and the girl who works on the nights I'm off) do 5 x's the work you do and the work you do, you screw up!!!" :yikes: I SO wish I was there for that! lol. But man it felt so good to have someone stand up for me!!!! :carrot:

DH did buy me another book that was also on Oprah about past lives that I am reading about now. I thought that was so sweet of him to buy that for me since he saw me watching that show all about it and all. :)

Well the Good news is my headache is gone, thanks to Excedrin Migraine!!! :carrot: The bad news is I think I'm getting sick. :( I feel like crapola. Ah well at least I'm off until Sunday night, so hopefully I can "recoop" before going back to work! lol. So I may or may not be around this weekend, I plan on resting and fighting this "sick bug" lol.

I think its supposed to rain :rain: all weekend anyways, be nice to stay in and watch some flicks. ;) Oh and step out on my deck tomorrow night to see some pertty fireworks! (we can see them from our deck!!!) :)

I hope you all have a Wonderful and SAFE 4th of July!!!!:celebrate:

I want to Thank ALL of those hard working men and women who are fighting for us and to those wives, DH's, moms, dads, sisters, brothers, cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends, who have to worry about their loved ones every single day/night. Thank You. I know that thanks is not even close to being nearly enough, but thank you.

Happy Birthday AMERICA!!! :celebrate:

Morning ladies...

Mindee--I think that's wonderful that you'll be doing this w/your hubby. Hope you got some sleep.

Angie--I'm up from my seat at work as much as I can be. It's hard sometimes when you need to get the work done though. How old is Tanner? He may enjoy the extra money!

Pat--Hello!

Sassy--Good to hear about the girl sticking up for you! You may have started something by speaking up......others seem to be doing so also! No more bullying!

Need to get my morning going here, hubby took a couple days off from work so we'll get to spend the 4th today. We'll be walking to town to join in on the festivities.

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe 4th!

alright, I got two windows open so I can respond without losing anything this time!

nothing really new on this end......just a typical day with no body taking a nap.....at least the boys didn't....I hope Marissa did! another rough night with Brandon and his sleep again. he was up again at the same time, but I left him in his room, and after 3am I was able to go to bed without any tag-a-longs. so I gave in and poured myself a coke so I had that extra little bit of caffeine to keep me awake!

the boys are watching the movie "Firehouse Dog" right now. we caught it in the middle of it, so I am sure that they will want to watch it again the next time it is on.

Tommy made some rice krispie treats to take to my parents house tomorrow. I told Brandon that the place we are going on our "surprise" ride has a pool so we have to take our suits with us. so, then all I heard was "surprise" for the next 5 minutes after that!

he has picked up a lot of words since school. now, we just need to get the insurance hammered out and get him into the ENT.

Hi girls.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Thanks Marti and all. Yes it was AWESOME that someone stood up for me, FINALLY!!! :carrot: DH has told me there are lots and lots of rumors going around work since we had the management change and all, you know how it goes............We'll just have to wait it out and see what all happens............

I'm just gonna "roll with the punches"...........I just heard an awesome song. It was "Rocks in your Shoes" by Emily West (http://www.mp3indirbedava.com/emily-west-rocks-in-your-shoes-lyrics-music-video/free-yabanci-video-clip-music-watch-lyrics-download-indir/2008/). It hit home for me, honestly and truly.

Right now I'm listening to GAC (Great American Country) and Josh Turner is on and OMG his voice is one of those voices that just I dunno.......makes me melt. I dunno....... Just love those deep singing voices..........they could curse me out singing to me and I'd be like, "okkkkkk" lol. Anyways they are doing Requests from the Troops overseas. ;)

Have a Great Day! :D

Hello and Happy 4th!

Sassy - Mary and I used to sit up until all hours of the night, watching GAC when she was in Jr. High School. I don't know the Emily West song you mentioned, but I bet it's pretty.

Angie - how's Tanner doing at the job? Hope he's able to take some work off you.

Mindee - did you have fun at your parents? The SBD will really make a person's belly disappear. I thought about doing the 2 week phase before, but just can't give up fruit for that long. I think it's really cool that Tommy is doing this with you.

Pat - aw, you need a hug! Hope your son's attitude has taken an upswing. Kids can sure do a number on ya, I know first-hand.

Marti - hope you and James have a good time on his days off.

Trish - hiya!

We ended up having a cookout, after all, with Mary's family before she went to work. It was just too darn humid to eat on the patio, though. I helped the girls make patriotic masks to wear in the parade and have to say they looked too cute. It's just about time for the fireworks to begin, but Neal and I stayed home. (I'm fighting a bronchial infection. Cough, cough, hack, hack. Caylin has it and shared it with me, lol.) It looks like rain, but I hope it holds off until after the fireworks are over.

Jane- It was really cool here today and clouded up a few times. I think it feels like we are getting the Spring we didn't have on the 4th of July. Strange weather. Glad you are back. Computer woes fixed?

Angie- Hello. Hope you are catching up on work and also getting the help you need. Did Tanner make the early wake-up? :)

Sassy- I like the old shows also. Fun to have them to watch any time you want. I have some old movies I wouldn't give up for anything.

Mindee- Hope you had fun and the kiddies got in a good swim. Nothing like playing in water to make them good and tired. A break for Momma. :)

Pat- Thank you so much for your concern. The procedure went fine...hurt like heck when I got the shot for numbing, but after that a piece of cake (since I was numb..lol) DH went with me and got the orders on how to take care of the wound. He does a good job. Today I must say it itches like heck and "pulls." The trouble being it is an open area, no stitches.....so has to heal over. I think I like stitches better. After three weeks it was not healed from the first time, so I am expecting at least another 3 weeks to heal. I did feel better about the type cancer once the Dr. explained it. It can not come back at other parts of the body...just the skin. Not like melanoma, which I had before. That I am constantly concerned about.

Trish and Marti- Hi and hope you had a lovely 4th.

We grilled out, but ate indoors since it was chilly and looked like rain. It was good though. We made S'mores which I was surprised to learn my Mom had never had or seen. She had heard of them, but never tried. She is a big sweets eater, so loved them. I made a lo-cal ambrosia I found a recipe for on General chatter. It was very good.

I didn't exercise today...but will be right back at it tomorrow.

Still no luck on finding the HHR we want...so might go look at something else tomorrow. DD and DGS from CA get in tonight, so I will most likely see them first thing in the morning.

Mom is not having her kidney procedure on Thurs. so we only have the podiatrist next week. DH and I are planning to sneak away, possibly Sun. or Mon. the 13th,etc. Maybe even two nights. DD/DGS will be gone and we have a week of no appts. Still trying to put together a trip to San Diego and Vegas for Fall. We have even discussed a week in Vegas before that as we want to look at property again. So many plans...so little time..and money..LOL.

Off I go...and to all the Jaded Ladies I missed..Hello and have a safe week-end.

hey all,,,
Jane I think you and I are experiencing the same thing,,,hacking alot.
Its been nice and hot here too,,,and kinda humid but nothing like your humid. Just needs another rain.

Sue, im so glad the procedure is done,,,and your at the healing stage. I was told when it itches it means its healing,,,not sure if thats true.

Poor Tanner,,,hes one tired boy,,,he worked a solid two days. But other then being confused to where the things he does goes...hes doing great.
He work doesn't do anything for my work...and warned him before hand to write his notes cause I know nothing of what his job is about.
Brandon loves working there...and so of course they expected Tanner to be like Brandon,,,soooo wrong. They don't look alike and they don't act at all the same. But its kinda nice having both boys near by. We all have to dress western style for the next 10 days...my boots are sooooo cute! And comfy!
Anyways,,,Ive put in 23 hrs of work in the last two days,,,pretty tired. And have a few errands to run and do tomorrow in the morning so heading to bed..
night all and hope you had a wonderful 4th.

Hi All.

I hope your 4th was great. I really didn't watch any fireworks......I have seen them many many times before, so its not biggie. Just haven't had the energy to much of anything. But I am feeling better so I guess the resting is doing its job of making me well...........

Unfortunately my "focal points" on cleaning has suffered this week. :( But there is always next week. Now if I can get my DH to at least GET started on that horrible office of his............

I feel better, physically, but emotionally, I just feel blah. :p I feel like I am just hopeless in the weight loss and getting healthy dept. I get these newsletters from e-diets to try to motivate me, but all they do is make me realize how much work I have yet to go. :kickcan:

But I don't wanna give up. I just need to do better. I had a dream lastnight that I started biking to work!!!! That would be like a miracle for me because work is about 12.7 miles away. That would be 25.4 Miles a day x 3 nights a week on my "short weeks" and 4 days a week on my "long weeks". Yes that is doable I mean how many flippin' miles do they do on the tour de France? Ok looked it up and its: 2,235 miles!!! :yikes: And that is throughout all kinds of country. Mine would basically be flat except for the hill by our apt.

So yes indeed I could do it and yes it may take like a long time before I actually could do it, but it is doable. I just dunno if I have that kind of energy and stamina anymore! lol. But "can't" couldn't do anything as my mom always has said. lol. So who knows.......I could be peddling to work if I ever get off my fat lazy bum! :lol3:

Actually when I was younger I wanted to be a professional bike rider and do competitions and all, but never got that far.........lol. Not even close. lol. I think the farthest I've ever went on a bike was about 2 measely miles and that was when I was in A LOT better shape than I am now!!!

So whoppee do why can't I get motivated?? What is wrong with me?? I have never liked being overweight and now eeekkk obese.........:o So what is the problem here? Maybe I have something mentally "blocking" me??? Should I see a therapist? Should I go on a retreat somewhere? Should I become a buddist monk? What is the answer here? Okay okay I know the answer isn't that easy. But just "thinking out loud" here........So don't think I'm whining or complaining cuz I'm really not. I am thankful for everything I do have because there are many who would love to be in my shoes, I know that.

So I dunno. I just feel like a major change needs to happen for me otherwise I'm doomed..................and that is not acceptable for me. I just need to find that "fire" inside that I used to have cuz my "fire" has gone out a long time ago. :(

Anyways, rambling here..........:blah: Can't you tell I am feeling better?

Jane -- I had the link so everybody could listen to the song in my last post of that Emily West Song.........Aw well. lol. Glad you had a good 4th and sorry to hear about the bronchial infection.

Sue -- Yeah I feel like an old foagie though wanting to watch all my "old" shows. lol. Its just sometimes I'd rather just kinda "go away" into a different time and watch something different than the stuff they have on now. I'm glad your procedure when well and glad that its not the bad type of cancer. Glad your 4th was great. My thoughts and prayers will be with your mom when she has her procedure done on Thurs. Good Luck on the HHR hunt. My coworker bought one for his wife last yr. :) I hope you find some property you want and get to go on the get-aways that you want. I'm hoping DH and I are able to go the end of September, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Angie -- Yeah there are a lot of hunky men on GAC, aren't there? lol. And oh yeah they can sing very well too! :p lol. Hope you get some rest glad your boys are near!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th!!!

Good Afternoon Ladies,

Sue - I'm glad your surgery is over and you are in the healing process. I too have heard that the itching means it is healing. Hope you and hubby get to make your get away trip.

Sassy - Glad you and hubby are going to be on the same shift. I know you will be glad. Also glad things have worked out for you at work and hope it keeps getting better.

Jane - Hope you are feeling better and get rid of that nasty infection quickly. Wasn't it nice of Caylin to share it with you?:joker: Hope she is feeling better too.

Pat - Hope things are better today.

Mindee - Hope you had a good time with your parents. How did Brandon like it? Isn't it great that he has improved so greatly. Hope the insurance gets worked out for you really soon.

Angelia, Diva, Marti, Ruth & anyone else I missed -

We didn't do much yesterday. We went out to eat at KFC and then to Wal-Mart and back home then watched movies and played games on pc. So it was rather quiet time for us. DH's attitude about life is getting so much better now that this surgery and cancer is behind him and he is such a joy to be with him. I really can't thank God enough for what He has done for us.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Ya.

I am actually cooking. I know amazing! :faint: It isn't anything too wonderful, just home-made fries (not the bagged kind, I actually cut up the potatoes myself) and hamburgers. At least I control the ingredients and has to be better than that crap at the fast food chains for sure! I am waiting on the hamb. to see if maybe if dh wants to grill em, which would be even better. ;)
But at least I'm baking the ff's not frying, so that is at least a tad bit better. :)

Thanks Trish. Glad things are well with your DH.

Have a Good Night!

Hello Ladies,

Sassy - I bake my ff's too. I saw a special pain for baking them and told hubby that I didn't have to buy a special pan. I use my pizza pan with holes in the bottom and they bake nice and crisp with no oil and much healthier. I buy the frozen, but since I've learned that potatoes with the skin is healthier and good for keeping blood sugar normal when eating potatoes, I think it would be better to do my own. Do you spray them or just bake them without anything on them? I've seen it done on tv where they spray them with Pam, but I haven't tried that either.

Today has really been good so far. Tony felt so much better that we got up and started back to church. We hadn't been there much since I hurt my knee last 4th of July and he found out about the cancer last August, but now we plan to be back faithfully. It was really nice. I didn't realize how much I had missed it.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Hugs,
Trish

just popping in to let you all know that we made it back home from my parents house. my mom basically held us hostage on Friday night and said that we couldn't go home. so we stayed the night and came home yesterday afternoon. we hung out for a little bit and then took my sister to another sisters house. then went out to see some fireworks. we were all so exhausted last night! I fell asleep while trying to get Brandon to sleep. Tommy was falling asleep at the computer.

I got a couple of books from my mom's house to read. One is called "Wasted" by Marya Hornbacher. It is a memoir about anorexia and bulimia. And the other one is called "90 minutes in heaven" by Don Piper.

Other then that nothing really new going on. Oh yeah......we got some pediasure from my mom for Logan. He has been drinking it and eating all his meals that we put in front of him. so, I am happy with that. And he is getting his belly back!

Hi Everyone. In spite of everything I had a wonderfully good holiday. Things have calmed down. Our Dragon is doing well. I feel relieved for that blessing. Things at my sisters bbq went very well. I stayed op  I have exercised every day starting either Tuesday or Wednesday :shrug: I have a friendly mini challenge with another chick to see who reaches 189 first. I don't know if I will win the mini challenge; but it isn't from a lack of trying!!!!! I am so tired of weighing 190 I could scream. We will see when the "official" weigh in is done in the morning.

Tomorrow I have to walk my errands. I will be away most of the afternoon. I will walk to the library, I have to deliver payment of a bill on the way there. Then when I am done there I will walk to my sisters house to play cards. It will be a healthy day!!

I will catch up with everyone in the morning. Thank you all for your support. Pat

Good Day Ladies,,,
Sunday afternoon..*sigh how does the last two days go by so fast when the rest of the week doesn't?

Mindee what is the 90 minutes in Heaven book about...(I know an hr and half in heaven ) but is it someone writing about an experience or its just a title.

Trish that is wonderful that you are going back to church...and I bet your were welcomed back with open arms...*smile

Sassy,,,you cooking? what is this world coming to? ha ha
I was watching some program and thought what a fabulous idea. There is a place you can go to and make your meals...(dinners/suppers) There are menues,,,directions and everything there for you to ensure a healthy yummy meal. Each meal is $5.00 The woman in the show didn't know how or didn't like to cook and with her husband they went there and *made* dinner for 5 nights,,,all in baggies. I am thinking you just freeze,,,or refridgerate and then follow cooking instructions. Easy Peasy.

Monte and I went to see a movie,,,Wanted. Its the one with Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie in it. Action packed....all I know is the last half I need to go to the bathroom....ha ha

I spent alot of money this weekend...my visa is smoking....
I have Monte and Tanner's holiday all done except for the rental car. They are going to take a cruise to Mexico,,,leaving from San Diego. Then after going to Los Angels to do some shopping and then home,,,,meanwhile Ill be in New York....(don't we sound like globe trotters? we really aren't) But funny that Im at one end of the country and they are at the complete opposite of me.
And I bought a new car. Traded my Sante Fe in for a Sonota...The gas mileage will be so much better then what we are paying now. With it being 139. per litre,,,which in gallons it would be 5.38...ouch

Anyways should get some more work done around the house....one more bathroom to do,,,yay!

later..

Hey Gang:

I am just responding to those who posted to me, for now. I'll post more probably on the weekend -- when I'm off! K?

Patti -- I drizzle them with a little bit of Olive Oil. I put mine on my cookie sheet with parchment paper -- EASY CLEAN-UP!!! :carrot:

Ang -- I have DH I don't need to do that! lol. He LOVES to cook!!! I feel guilty and so from time to time -- like this weekend I cooked for him, well sorta I did the ff's, he did the burgers! But hey I got out the hamburger to thaw!!! I can cook, I just don't particularly like it and DH loves it so I figure why not just let him do what he loves??? :)

Take Care all,

just doing my nightly pop in.......

Angie~ The "90 minutes in heaven" is about a man that got into a car crash, and was basically dead for 90 minutes and then he came back to life after 90 minutes of being in heaven. I haven't started it yet, but when I read it I will let you know how it is. But it sounds similar to the book that you mentioned.

Good Morning ladies

It was nice to have a three day weekend! I think they should really consider 10hr days with 3 day weekend at work. :D

Mindee--Good luck with the SBD, as long as you have hubby for support things should be just fine. Keep us updated on how you're doing.

Sassy--I don't cook as often in my house either, hubby is great at it and also loves doing it so he does majority of the cooking. My DD is always requesting DH to make dinner instead me!! I feel spoiled to have him.

Angie--Been wanting to see that movie. It looks good. Wow, your family sure is traveling this summer! Will you all be going somewhere together?

Pat--I used to be able to walk around town and get all my bills paid in person (before we moved) now I'm living in a larger town and it's very spread out. I don't even know where some of the places are. I think its a great exercise and think of all the gas you're saving!

Trish--I'm happy to hear that Tony is feeling better and that things are going well.

Sue--Oh I hope you get some alone time with DH. It's always nice to be with family but alone time with a SO is always nice too.

Jane--I bet the DGD looked adorable in their patriotic masks! I remember my grandma always celebrating all holidays and being crafty with us when we were little. Such wonderful memories. You DGD will look back too when they're older and have wonderful memories with you.

Hello to everyone else.

Weekend was great. Yesterday hubby went to work before I even got up, spent the day doing absolutely nothing! Ok....I just didn't leave the house. I did some cleaning, but even that didn't last long. Watched some movies and read a little. Just felt like having a day of nothing. It was nice.

Haven't been doing fantastic with WW's. Today is the start of the 3rd week. I'm hoping that I quit being so wishy washy about it and truly follow the plan. Exercise is key for me, so I really need to be doing something active.

Ok gals, I better get ready for work. Three day weekend = busy Monday!!

Have a good one.

Hi Everyone~I weighed in this morning at 189.4 YEAH!! My goal for this week is to lose at least 1.2 pounds. That would put me at 10 pounds lost. No looking back. Hopefully my knees and hips will thank me.

How is everyone doing??

We had a storm rumble through this morning. It looks like it might rain again. I need to walk and get my errands done. I don't want to get wet or catch a sniffle. I have to make a decission here soon! Catch ya all later. Pat

Hi All

Marti - that is exactly how I feel about my DH. I am so spoiled! lol. It is great to do nothing sometimes, I did that on my last days off, but it wasn't by choice really. I had a bad migraine. It finally left though! I have been very very wishy washy on what plan to follow. I'm a big loser. :kickcan: Except I am not "losing" any pounds. :p

Hope your all well!

:wave:Hi Ladies,

A quick one here as I'm tired to night and I'll do indies tomorrow. DH got the test results today and it confirmed that they got all the cancer. The PSA test was almost 0. So thank God all that is basically over. I started my 30 minute exercise workout today, but kept the 2 pts I was going to take out of my plan. I figured that since my 20 minute WATP earns me Activity 3 pts and I am adding 10 min on bike that I just might need those 2 pts. I did decide to measure waist and hips and I lost 1/2 inch in both places. So it is good to know something is happening even if the scales don't show it yet. Hopefully the 30 min 6 days a week will give me some good results.

Sassy - I hadn't thought about drizzling EVOO on the potatoes and I like your idea of using the parchment paper. I will do that next time.

Good night ladies and I'll catch y'all tomorrow.

Hugs,
Trish

I can't take credit for that idea, I got it from the Food Network. lol. But ya Parchment paper rocks! It saves so much time on the cleaning!!! I use it for everything when I use my baking sheet. Its wonderful. :)

WTG on the exercise. So wait, you can earn points? So if I like exercise like 24/7 how many points would that be? lol. So I take it your on the WW plan? I think I need to get my act together and get on it already!

Thought I would pop in quickly before I get go lay down.

Pat--Hurray for getting to 189!! You're doing so well, I'm sure you start seeing more coming off as time goes on.

Mindee--Again...good luck on the SBD. Have you checked out the SBD threads? I'm sure there are recipes over there too.

Sassy--I'm a foodnetwork fan! We get a lot of our recipes from that channel. Makes me want to start cooking more when I watch it!!

Trish--Wonderful news on your husband!!!!! I'm so happy to hear they got it all. You both must feel overwhelmed with happiness right now.

Jane--Was that you??

Hello to everyone else.

Ok....I've got to go lay down. I have an ache in my back that is not the usual ache. Usually I feel it in my muscles, this feels like a severe bruise on my spine. Been bothering me all day.

and later on tonight, I am going to have Tommy and myself included step on the scale and take measurements. and that way, we can compare them from time to time.

Hi Chicks!!!

Well we stopped at the farm up the road from my in-laws Tuesday Morning and got some corn on the cob and DH got a huge seedless watermelon. So DH had corn on the cob ready for me when I woke up and rotisserie chicken. It was so good!!!!!!!!!!!

We love the food network too. We have been watching "The next food network star" anybody else been watchin? We love Alton Brown, Tyler Florence, Bobby Flay and Paula Deen on the Food Network, they are our "Favs" ;)

UGH the power went off here at work twice before I came into work tonight, (I guess it was storming earlier) well I guess the air conditioning did not come back on and we don't have any "windows" that open up either! So we're all here sweatin' to death! Not my idea of weight loss! lol. Why did I take a shower before I came in again? lol. :beach::sunny::hot::flame:

I hope you all are doing well and are COOL! lol.

Ellen--Good to hear from you! Been wondering how you're doing. Get some rest and catch up with us later ok.

Sassy--Of course I've been watching the Next Foodnetwork Star!! Not sure who I'd like to see win, but it's fun to watch the challenges!

Mindee--A link in case you haven't taken a peak yet : SBD (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=110)
It's always nice to be in a place that is going through the same program. How is day 2 (or is it 3?) going??

Pat-- Hope the storms weren't too violent.

Doing ok here, staying OP, and things are changing around here so I'm already feeling more motivated to start exercising regularly again. Hope to keep this motivation!

just doing my daily pop in!

I stepped on the scale this morning, just for grins and giggles. I weighed in at 231.2! So, that is a 2.4 pound loss since I started yesterday! I managed to go yesterday without any pop, and so far so good today! I have been drinking iced tea, which they said that you could drink.

and hopefully after dinner tonight, we will be going to the pool!!!

we ended up not taking our measurements last night. maybe I can get him to do it tonight! I can already feel my clothes being looser. from what I have read, they said that anything from 8 to 13 pounds gone in the first two weeks.....so we shall see where this all goes!!!

Ellen~ I can't believe you are at 15 weeks already!! that is great about camping! we love camping, but we don't have a tent to fit us all!

Marti~ Thanks for that link.....how did you know that I hadn't gotten a chance to take a peek yet? Day 2 is going well. Tommy almost caved last night because he had the serious munchies....but he didn't give in! I have been doing great! I just need to find something to go with the chicken breasts that we are going to have for dinner!

Hi all.

Wow what a morning this morning! Our building was EVACUATED! :yikes: Seems like the air conditioner that they had to turn back on after our power outage started smoking about 5:30 in the morning! So the fire alarms went off and everybody was evacuated!!! We ended up with 9 fire trucks and 2 life squads!!! :fr:

After an hr and a half, we went back inside. Seems the air conditioner over heated or something?? Anyways there is my drama, hopefully tonight at work will be much calmer! lol.

Well DH has made me supper -- steak, baked potato and corn. :)

Mindee~Way to go!! You and your husband got quick results with the South Beach. I tried it for a week when it first came out. I didn't get that kind of results. I am so very glad it is working for you guys.

Sassy~That is a lot of excitement so early in the morning. How did you get calmed down enough to get some sleep before going to work?

Ellen~Good to hear from you! Glad you are feeling better.

Marti~The storms were not too bad. A lot of lightening and thunder. It rained but didn't pour. It wasn't very humid today. A breeze helped. I didn't do any yard work or walking out side, it was 87 this afternoon.

I don't want to leave out any one~How is every body doing?

I did 2 hrs of stepping and 4x5 wall push ups. I ate 4 pieces of pizza (NOT slices). I will do a little extra exercise for a few days to balance the fat in the pizza. I don't want to undo the work I have done. I still have my eyes on a sexy, slinky black dress for Christmas. Yeah right at my age????? I don't want to feel guilty for splurging. I will watch what I eat tomorrow, stay op, I need to loose 1.2 pounds this week. Catch ya all later. Pat

Sassy,,,ooo the drama,,,the fun and ok we all want to know...Were there any really hot firemen? When we had a fire alarm scare,,,we had 2 old guys ,,,a woman and a not too cute guy,,,come in. Lets just say Teresa was disappointed,,,she is one of the ladies who likes to tease new guys.

Ellen,,,ahh I used to love camping,,,just hit the road and go. It just seems we never have the time anymore.

Pat good to stay focused,,,,and way to go on the workouts!

Hello Marti, Trish, Jane, hope Im not missing anyone...

I went to the Stampede last night,,,STRRRETCHED SUV limo picked me up. huh uh ...got in,,,and was promptly handed a drink...and that was pretty much that the rest of the night,,,I snuck in one gingerale...Watched the chucks,,,was thankful for the limo ride home cause I wasn't even feeling my feet,,,which had been in boots since 5 am,,,and it was 1 am. ARGHH Lets say waking at 5 am was an experience I don't want to partake again in.

I called it the Stampede Shakes..and funny,,,I didn't even have to explain.

I then tonight went and picked up my new car...its pretty! Yes I am excited to drive it.

Had my physical today,,,of all days. Oh Joy...hung over and a pap....doesn't get better then that. Sorry TMI..
All is well except my weight,,,you don't say. He thinks the waiting is rediculous but,,,till then keep at it with eating clean and drinking the water. Do need to get blood work done to make sure Im not deficint in anything...
I asked about B12s....

Well I need to get to bed,,,way past my bedtime.

So just so ya know I'm not in a good mood (if you can't already tell)........and probably will just stay totally away from the forum for a while, just cuz my state of mind right now.

I am definitely not going to be very "Sassy" for a while...........

Anyways, don't want to add to my "Drama" but well, it is my life. I am not making these things up!!! Trust me I WISH I was!!! Maybe I should write a book? lol.

Marti -- DH likes Aaron. I like him too, but I honestly think that blonde chick is gonna end up getting it. What do you think? And that dark headed chick scares DH and me.

And to the firefighter answer: Yes there were some hot firemen there. *hey there were hot men in UNIFORMS, uh ya this "old married woman" noticed!* I honestly did not see any old men, there were a few women there, but ya some good looking men. :whoo: I had to inform my coworker about that on days, she is just recently divorced and um well enjoying single life. lol. :p

Trish--Fantastic loss! Happy to hear that you're doing well. Congrats.

Hello to everyone else out there.

I'm staying OP and truly keeping my eye on the portions and what goes in. Some days it's a battle, wanting something that's not so good for me, but the smart side of me wins out. So this has been a good week for me.

Won't be online much this weekend, many plans going on. DD will be here and we have some running around to do Saturday, and then Sunday there is a Employee open house to the new hospital. They announced the count of the RSVP's.....I was stunned....8,000 people are attending!! They're really going all out on this so it should be lots of fun. I plan on taking photos and I will share what I can when it's all over.

Good evening Ladies,,,,
Just got home from work,,,just a 14 hr day...*sigh always seems to be on Fridays that I end up working longer.
Ive been super cranky the last two days,,,had a yelling arguement with a driver. Had a talk with my boss about this driver and all he said was,,,if he isn't going to listen to you, don't pay him! Should freak this driver out a bit,,,won't like knowing he didn't have the right to go against what I wasn't asking him to do,.,,which was to give me his payroll which had been due the day before. Twit.
We had lousy weather here too,,,lots of cold rain...hail I got my car on Wed at 8:30 pm,,,and next day at 4 we had hail...luckily no damage,,,but lets just say everyone at work was freaking out with me.

Marti,,,8000,,,wow that is alot of people,,,nice way of opening up to the public and get the word out there is another hospital open.

Good afternoon to you all... Hope it is sunny in your part of the country. Here we awoke to rain, but it is sunny now and getting HOT. Good old Indiana steamy humidity. I call it State Fair weather. :)

Sassy- Once again a hug to you.

Mindee- And to you kudos for the SBD working for you and Tommy.

Angie- I went to your blog... Oh well, anyway it sounds like you have been working way too hard. A limo? How cool. I bet the Stampede is so much fun. Probably more so than this old gal could take. LOL

Marti- Hello there. Sounds like WW agrees with you. Great and continued good luck with it. Have fun with DD.

Trish- Way to go on the losing...Glad to hear DH is doing so well. Life is good, huh? Terrific!!

Pat- Why not a slinky dress? If you got it flaunt it. And sounds like you are well on your way to your goal. Great job.

Where's our Jane?? I wanted to ask about the melons. :)

Ellen- Time is going quickly..you will soon be popping out there, if not already. Hope you feel just fine!

Hi and bye to anyone I missed...Thinking of you all.

I have been alternately lazy and sick forever now. I am still experiencing a side ache, but after 4 years I know better than to go to the Dr for it. They have done many thousands of dollars of tests to come up with nothing. And I KNOW it is painful. Same thing happened to my SIL and she recently FINALLY had her gall bladder out.

I have enjoyed a few drives in my new car. It is fun to drive and is know as our mid-life crisis purchase. Ha!

Anyways, as I was saying, I am taking advantage of having time off to get some things done around here that need to be done. Plus keeping busy keeps my mind off of things too. I stripped the bed finally and I plan on tackling the bathroom too. Maybe I'll even get the dreaded office done! lol.

Well my Aunt just called. Its gonna be on Wed. from 1-3 pm then off to the cemetery right after. She said that my Aunt and cousin from Tennessee (or at least that is where they used to live) will be there for the services than they will have to leave right after.

I keep sneezing!!! :sp: Must be my allergies. Who knows...........its all I need. lol.

Thank You all for your kind words and support, your all so wonderful!

doing my daily pop in.....

we went up to the campground yesterday and had a blast! we stayed up there longer then we planned on it, but it was worth it all! we are planning on going up there this coming Saturday for the Halloween in July that they are doing. Marissa is going to be a little punk rocker chick. Our friend is going to spike her hair for us. The boys are going to be mechanics. Since that is the lightest costumes that we have for them.

I am down to 229.2 lbs since Tuesday. Tommy is down to 170.8 lbs since Tuesday. I have lost 4.4 pounds, and he has lost 8 pounds. I hate how easily men lose weight!!!

Sassy~ Sounds like your grandfather had a full life. And to live until he was 97 years old, that is just amazing!

Sue~ I haven't really found anything to be exceptionally difficult.....but Tommy has. He will get cravings for something and then he will just drool over coupons for ice cream or commercials for ice cream. your car looks great!!!

I am on my way to go and find some sample menus of what people are doing for SBD. I am looking for some things that I would be able to make ahead of time so that Tommy can take them to work with him.

Mindee~How is SBD working for you? Any cravings, do you sometimes feel hungry. I am looking for a different eating plan. Fat Smash is to restrictive, You on a Diet doesn't cut it either. Curious cause I might give this one a try to jump start the weight loss again. I have only lost 10 pounds in all these weeks. I WI 188.8 this morning. Thanks Pat

Suetalks~Slinky sexy black dress uuummmmm I am a grandma of 3. Way out of shape for such a vision of young innocence, but then again, I don't have to look matronally (can't spell it!) either. :rofl:l

doing my daily pop in....

I was looking in the closet for something to wear, and tossed on a tank top that I used to wear when me and Tommy were dating, almost 9 years ago! they are a size 18/20, and I put the tank on with the shirt over it, expecting them to both be tight on me. NOPE......they are just as comfortable as they were when I put them on 9 years ago!!!

Pat~ I really like SBD. It isn't anything like I thought it would be. To me it is not restrictive at all.....now if you ask Tommy he will give you a different answer! But I love the fact that it basically starts you over from scratch an then lets you build yourself back up to eating healthy. I haven't really had any cravings unless the kids are eating something that looks good at the moment. but other then that, I haven't had any. Tommy, on the other hand, has had a craving for ice cream since the beginning BUT you are allowed to eat some dessert items that are approved. I honestly don't have the hungry feeling. In fact, I actually have the opposite most of the time. I have the not hungry feeling, but then by the time we agree on something to have for dinner I am usually hungry by then.

Which reminds me...we need to sit down tonight and come up with some menus for ourselves!

Pat- I would be happy with 10 pounds right now...I am stalled, big time. No one to blame but myself. I have not been working at it much.

Angie- Yes, I have told the Dr. several times that I feel it is gall bladder. They have run tests and say it comes up okay. So I have to wait for something BIG to happen I guess. Right now it is the same pain it has been for 4 years...some days worse than others. Ugh!

Mindee- Glad SB is doing it for you. I hope you find some good recipes. I can't even remember what we ate, but we only lasted 11 days. :)

Sassy- Hope you are getting lots done on your time off. Sorry it is for such a sad reason. At least you get to see family.

Hi to all you other lovely ladies...

Mom and I ran errands and shopped for groceries. I came home and made tuna salad and cleaned strawberries for a cold dinner.

Just relaxed with a glass of wine with DH out in the pergola and now I am sleepy....lol.

Hi Jaded Ladies,

I didn't realize I hadn't been here in such a long time. I haven't been online too much lately. I'm trying to be busier and more active. I was disappointed that my weight started bouncing again and I kept my 2 lb loss for only a few days and then this morning it looks like I only kept 1 lb off. I don't know what is going on because I am staying OP. So I started counting calories along with the Flex pts to see if I can find out if my body isn't tolerating the number of pts. I have a doctors appt. next month and if I can't start losing I am going to have him check my thyroid. I have always been borderline in the numbers and I recently learned that women who are borderline can gain weight easier than losing. So we will see what happens.

Sassy - :hug:prayers and thoughts coming your way.

Mindee - I am so glad SBD is working for you and Tommy. That is really great. It is also nice and easier when a couple does it together. My niece and her husband are doing WW Flex Plan together and they are doing great. You will make it to your goal. Isn't it great to wear something you haven't been able to wear in a long time? I'm happy for you. I never made the two weeks Phase 1 because I didn't have the results you had although I did lose the inches. Keep up the good work.

Pat - You are working so hard and you will really have fun wearing a
that new black dress. I agree... you don't have to look like a grandma.:)

Sue - Sorry they can't solve the mystry of your pain. Your new car looks pretty. I love the color.

Marti - How was the hospital party? 8000 people? I bet that was really something.

Angelia, Ellen, Ruth and anyone else I missed

Y'all have nice evening.

Hi everyone~A quick fly by. Hope everyone is having a good day.

This afternoon my niece, sister, and I are going blueberry picking. I have not picked blueberries in probably a good 20 years. This will be an experience. So, I figured that I'll use my time wisely and power walk before my shower and all....I will come back in later after work to do some catch up.

So until then, have a wonderful day!!

Hi Everyone

A quick one as I have to be at the beauty shop in an hour. I gave up having the fake nails, but decided I cannot live with the gray roots. I hate the way my hair turns a dull gray like my Mother's did. She didn't live with it and I'm not either so I'm going for a hair cut and a highlight. It also makes me feel and look younger.

I think I shared here that I was trying something different since I had been stuck at 217.5 for about 2 or 3 mos. I am still doing WW Flex pts, but counting calories along with it. Well, I am happy to say that it is working. I was down to 216.5 yesterday and was so excited this morning to see the scale hit 214.5 lbs. I know this might be considered kind of fast for 2 days on this, but considering I've been struggling with this for at least 2 months of a clean OP and exercise, and water, I consider it a real breakthrough for me. I will continue to do it. Turns out my Flex pts run anywhere from 21.5 pts to 29 pts so far and I am keeping my calories between 1200 to 1500 which is about right. I think the difference with counting the calories is that Everything counts where as WW allows some things to be 0 pts. I remember reading about a Moderator on another thread who did combos of WW and some others along with whole foods said that she never counted anything as 0 pts even in WW because nothing was really free. As far as I know she has kept her weight at goal for years. I figure she is a good role model to follow.

Marti - Sounds like you are so busy you may meet yourself. lol Makes your work day go quicker.

Mindee - One way to look at things is that you are also teaching your children how to eat as well and just think... you will have more energy to deal with them as they grow up. You are doing great.

Pat - I love blueberries. I use the frozen because the fresh are usually too expensive. You enjoy being with your neice and sister and the reward of having the fresh blueberries.

Jane - If you get to read this... hope you get the internet fixed so you can be back with us more. I know it is a real task to have to drive to town just to be online.

Well, I better get out of here. Hope everyone has a great day. Didn't mean to miss any one.

Hugs,
Trish

nothing really new on this end......I am planning on taking the kids to the pool tonight and possibly getting a walk in too. but the pool is one thing that is high on that list.

I am watching Crash right now with Sandra Bullock and a whole bunch of other people in it. So far, it is really good. I keep having to fast forward through the commercials.

Hi Everyone~I ran some errands and went to the library where I went on a seek and search mission. Came home with 7-8 books. I have some reading to do. We didn't get to go berry picking. We drove around for an hour trying to find the place. I was disappointed and frustrated when we got home. I really wanted the berries in the freezer. I did an hour of stepping with intervals of jogging to break it up a bit. Then I did 38 wall push ups. Other than that nothing going on here. I will catch ya all later Pat

Hi all,

Well its all done. It was very simple, as my Grandpa wanted it and he was a very simple, honest and kind man. :)

I saw all my relatives that I haven't seen in forever, including my bio. father and we did speak and were civil. (we have never been close) I got to see my relatives from the south that we don't get to see that often. I took a picture with all of them since I never get to see them that often. Put it this way, I was still in HS the last time I saw them!

I also saw old neighbors of mine who their mom used to watch me when I was a kid and I had a huge crush on the oldest when I was in like 1st or 2nd grade! I even remember once giving him an eraser (you know the big kind) for his bday once! OMG What a Goofball I was!!! :lol3: And of course he spoke to me, couldn't just ignore me, oh no! lol. He came up, shook my hand and asked, "Do you remember me?" I was like um yeah I remember you. lol. Then he's like, "Remember the old days?" and smiled. lol. I was like "yup" lol. OMG isn't it embarrassing :o when confronted with things like that? lol. Plus you have all your relatives yapping away about how cute you were when you were "little" blah, blah......:blah: lol.

My Aunt had a small dinner at her house after and we stopped by and talked to everyone, then left. For one, it was hotter than Haiti's outside (90 degrees at the very minimum), my Aunt had everything outside, and I was wearing a long-sleeved shirt and pants and two, my DH had not slept yet. (he worked Tuesday night into Wed. morning)

So we figured we could come down later on and visit longer with the relatives who live in Indiana. I spent a lot of time with my Aunt and cousins who I haven't seen in a long time and probably won't see for a long time.

Anyways, everything is done and I'm glad. I was really really dreading it. Now my Grandfather is at rest and with my Grandma again. ;)

I stepped on the scale last night, and I was 228.6!!!! Tommy talked to a lady from his work that said to try the Special K diet. I told him that I would look into online and go from there. for now, I am going to continue with SBD.

And, a YAY for me....he bought ice cream and I am leaving it alone! he told me that he was going to buy some, and I told him to get a really gross sounding ice cream and I will leave it alone! (he ended up getting moose tracks, which I have never had before and I am not about to start!)

Hi girls...

Sorry I've not been on much. I have a four day weekend coming up and I've been trying to get as much done as I can at work (going in early, staying late) before I do, because the gal who takes over, does not do a very good job!! I know I will be coming in on Wednesday to a night mare.

Happy week-end to you all. Sounds like most JL's have been busy this summer. Hope everyone is well and happy.

I took Mom to her Physical Therapy earlier. She goes twice a week and it effectively kills the morning. Just two more weeks and *fingers crossed* it will be over. It has helped with the achilles tendonitis and she is walking better. Now if we can get the swelling down. Heartwise they have her meds. under control and she is feeling some better. Back to the heart Dr. next week...along with therapy. It is worth it as we are seeing improvements.

I am trying to get back on track...with this heat I am not doing too well outdoors, so today is a WATP day. I hope to stay on top of the eating situation also. It has been a long time since I lost a pound...several weeks actually. And that is just the weight I gained last winter...the recycled stuff. I want to see the 164 I was at last summer.....before winter.

Okay, enough whining. I need to get up and do some housework before I WATP. Not doing indies until later...

Hello JL,

Marti - I hope you get things done so you can enjoy your 4 days off.

Mindee - :congrat: 5.8 lbs gone and for passing on the ice cream. Great job. Won't be long and you will be at goal.

Sue - I'm glad your Mom is doing better.

Sassy - I felt the same way about my Grandfather when he passed away. I knew he was finally with my Grandmother again. It is a shame that we only see some family members only at funerals. We are the same way in our family. The family members who did the family reunions passed away years ago.

Tony was trying to collapse a box last night and fell and brused his back so now he is in pain from that. I don't know if we will do anything this week end. Boy, I couldn't believe it. Thank God he didn't break anything.

Hope everybody has a really good week end.

Trish~ Thanks for the nice comments! I already am half way to my goal of 200 pounds. On another board that I post on, I put in my starting weight as 255, which was how much I weighed at my 6 week appointment after I had Marissa. when I put in my weight today, I noticed that I am halfway (well 3 ounces off half way) to my goal of 200!!!!
