Sugar Shakers - I think I am home

I think this is where I need to be. I just found out I have metabolic syndrome and started metphormin(s?). I am thinking sugar shakers is my new home.

Hi there AMBIE . . . :welcome: . . . glad you found us, Chickie . . . have you picked any formal type of GI/GL plan, yet? Personally I tend to just follow the guiding principles that tend to flow through them all. As you can see, this forum is mostly about Sugar Busters but is in the process of expanding to include all of the newer GI/GL plans as well. I plan to add more plan/book reviews over the next few weeks.

BTW that's Metformin . . . something I'm very familiar with . . . I'm a practicing Type II Diabetic (been practicing for about 20 years now) . . . Hope you get the weight off and kick the sugar roller coaster goodbye before you get to where I am . . . :hug:
