That you would actually GAIN weight in an area you don't? I've always hated my flat butt (trying to build it w/muscle now), and never understood why I had big hips/boobs but was bothered that the fat would never go to my booty. I always ended up looking ridiculously disproportionate from the side.

For those of you who do have this problem, did you ever do anything to make these areas bulk up while losing weight? Did it work?

I'm a little afraid now of losing what little booty I have gotten, but I'd still rather lose the weight more than keep my bum.

Oh definitely. I lost a lot of weight out of my bust. I am currently at goal weight, I would love to lose a little bit more of my stomach/thighs/hips but I know I would end up flat chested with collarbones that could cut glass.

Glory-- you and I must be twins! I have almost no chest left. It is very depressing. My stomach is still not near where I'd like it to be. I have very prominent collarbones now. I like the collarbones but I have gotten a few comments about them so they may be somewhat extreme.

I wish the fat in my arms would of moved towards my booty. I have a big bottom, but it doesn't bother me as much as my arms do. I am trying like a 12step program to accept my batwings, but I never get far in the steps :/

P.S. I do not mean to offend anyone who may be battling addiction and trying a program like the 12 steps. :)

I know it doesn't relate to your thread topic, but I am pretty ample with fat everywhere lol, so I don't think I can wish for fat in more of an area :)

I would love to redistribute my weight. Yesterday I found some measurements I had written down for a ren fair costume I'd wanted to make for myself several years ago (and never did). They must have been written at my highest weight. Good news, and bad news:

I lost 5 inches from my bust, 3 inches from my waist, and ZERO inches from my hips. ZERO inches!

Considering that hubby asked me to "try not to lose" my boobs, at least one of us is going to be very disappointed.

I want a bigger butt! When I weight train my legs in the gym, I do exercises that focus on the gluteus maximus. I also use the "gluteal" setting on the elliptical quite a bit. If I could take my stomach and put it on my behind I'd be happy!

I'm a total pear, so I can understand feeling disproportionate. I have a huge butt (but not in a good way!) and small boobs, which are so annoying! I don't think there's much that can be done about my general shape, but I'll try to tone and lose weight to see where it takes me. When I'm skinny, somehow it all looks alright and I can dress in a way that accentuates the positive and camouflage the negative.

Add me to the list of folks who wouldn't mind a bit more on top. The only time I had an honest-to-goodness B cup was at my high weight. My bras are already too loose, but my pants still fit :( .

*sighs* I think that is the first place I lost weight. And am still losing weight. Even my DH has noticed.

I'd love to just suck some fat out of my upper arms and hips and relocate it to my breasts. I didn't have much in that area to begin with, and they're pretty 'barely there' at the moment.. and I still have more weight to lose.

(I'm a pear. I've got big, womanly, child-bearing hips but there's not much to the top half of me.. I don't actually mind the hips alone, I just wish I wasn't so disproportionate)

I have concluded, though, that that is what nature has intended for me.. so I'm just going to learn to accept it, even love it as it is.

FDLOL, exactly how did he expect you to accomplish that? Maybe you can hang onto your boobs when you step on the scale so they don't leak out. ;) Seriously, husbands make some weird requests. My DH wanted me to make sure I don't lose my hips completely. Well, I've got wide set hipbones so no worries there, but it was still a funny request!

Yeah, when he asked me that, I laughed so hard I nearly peed myself laughing. I told him I'd better lose some of the boobs, at 150 lbs, 52DD's would be ridiculous (not to mention dangerous)!

I think it's Mel who (in weight lifters) talks about developing more butt bubble. You can pop in there and see what they say.

I'm on my way to work but I'll type up some of the exercises I do later today. You can have a look at my old pic in my profile. Flat and droopy!

For those of us advancing in years the worst payback of losing weight is that you lose fat off your face too.

As you grow older your face stops producing collogen - the natural "face plumper". If you're overweight some of your excess body fat will settle on your face, disguising the fact that collagen production has slowed up. Consequently when you do lose weight, your face can become withdrawn and sallow in appearance, and there ain't a whole lot you can do about it.

You can have your butt or you can have your face, but you can't have both!

If you hadn't guessed I could do with a bit of facial fat at the mo.....

Yeah, that is something I've noticed with some women, which is another reason I want to lose while I'm still young (25) and while I don't have a large amount to lose. Although, I didn't gain too much weight in my face (which looks odd in its own way, thin face/neck and larger body), my jawline is just slightly less defined than it is at 120.

Thanks for the tip! A bubble booty would be wonderful -- even if it were just a tiny bubble. :)

I wish I could gain weight in my bones to make them longer, so I could be taller!! :D

Meee too. I always wanted to be 5'9" -- for some reason that's always been the ideal height for me. To be honest, I'd be happy at 5'7".

Ah well, there's always China, you know they actually do bone-lengthening leg surgery there?:eek::eek:

Hey Rachellia -- to me, your 5'5" is tall! Perspective is everthing, huh?

I think I'm an hourglass shape (as opposed to apple and pear), so I have large boobage and a large butt, which I don't mind at all bc I fill out pants. I just want to lose weight around my stomach and abdomen and on my back (terrible, hateful bra fat!). I know you can't "spot reduce" but if my butt never lost an inch, I wouldn't be so upset.

Ugh! I have really small breasts. My hips are wide but my bum is the flattest in the universe. It is just a line. It doesn't even curve. I tried to be optimistic on the possibilities. I say "Ok, if my breasts get smaller, I will be able to go topless swimming when I am thin". But what can you say about a flat behind?

I'd be okay with bigger boobs, LOL. They are shrinking...:o Even at my highest weight I've never been larger than a C cup. This has always made shopping for nicely fitting tops a challenge as most cuts seem to assume a larger breast size.

I'm OK with my height until I'm shopping for capris or walking shorts.

OK butt stuff ... the treadmill on an incline, the leg press machine, I enjoyed Buns of Steel until I found it was irritating a hip/spine thing, squats, lunges, deadlifts, good mornings ...

Let's see what the lifters say.

That's why my body makes no sense, I'm really hourglass from the front: 34DDD-29-40, but then the butt just ain't there! The weight I gain seems to be distributed perfectly evenly all over my body (for instance, when I gain 10 lbs every measurement from arms to thighs to hips to waist gets 1.5" larger) except there.

Exactly, and false butt padding is seen at inexcusable and laughable, whereas no one thinks of Wonderbras as out of the ordinary.

Oh I remember one of my male friends saying something about Wonderbras are so deceptive and how he wished women would just admit they have small breasts. Don't know what kind of disappointment he went through. :^:

I hate the fact that my boobs are getting smaller. Ever since I can remember, I've always wanted big boobs. And when I finally got them, I LOVED them!!! I've gone down a cup size now and ugh..I hate it. I wish I could take some of the fat from my thighs and put it in my boobs. I have a water bra, and those silicone inserts. If dh would let me, I'd get my boobs done tomorrow, lol. He's pretty happy with whatever size my boobs are. He's just doesnt want my booty to get smaller. Which seems like that will never happen, lol.

I wish I had more of a butt. I'm a little envious of women with the JLO body type, especially if they are tall.
