I was directed to the positive comments made on this site about my physique by a friend, so I thought I would stop in and say hello!

It might help you to know that I too, have had issues with eating throughout my life, and though I seem to have it under control, it does still sometimes rear its head. I was an emotional eater, and can relate to many of your stories.

If I can be of assistance here on the forum, I'd love to help others reach those goals!

I have a lot of admiration for your achievements.

How did you get into lifting? Do you have any advice for women who are just beginning to lift?

Seriously I do have questions. But my most pressing is this:

What is the best way to locate a really good Olympic style lifting trainer. One who will take my interest seriously. I've been lifting for about two maybe three years on my own. I think I've built a good base and I'm ready for something more but I don't want to work with just anyone who knows a little bit more than me. I guess I'm going to have to meet a few frogs but i just wondered if you may have any suggestions. :)
