Hi everyone. I just stumbled across this board. Boy it is great not to be alone.

I recently started taking Prozac to help with my diet and terminal PMS. I can lose weight the first two weeks of my cycle, but starting with the third week I get depressed and stuff myself with food.
So far so good. After about one month I have been able to lose 4 lbs and keep it off. My whole family has problems with depression or other mental health issues, so I am pretty sure it is a genetic thing. Anyhow, nice to meet you all.

Welcome ldyliz. I too am a victim of genetics.. depression for two generations on father's side and anxiety for two generations on my mother's. I suppose it could go further back, but no one around to ask..
