I know that it is extremely difficult to lose weight with PCOS. I am just wondering what are some ways that have worked best for others. Currently I am doing clean eating and have never felt better, but the weight loss is extremely slow. I had tried low carb in the past and really never lost more that 10 or so lbs.

My friend has PCOS and went on South Beach. She lost a ton of weight. I found out that South Beach is also good for those that are insulin resistant, so I'm trying it tomorrow.

South Beach isn't really "low carb", it just focuses on eliminating all the carbs that are bad for you.

I will have to look more into that one. Thanks

All the Dr's I've ever seen say lower carb

But not just "lower"; the carbs you have to eat are the healthy low GI carbs that won't spike your blood sugar levels -- lots of vegetables, some fruits, and some whole grain breads and cereal choices.
