Default New to site, not SB

I have done SB before and it worked wonderfully, however, I didn't maintain very well after a year. I am starting over again. It is Day 2 of Phase 1. I am doing good so far, but I am having major cravings! I did not eat any candy at work today, even though it was sitting right in front of me all day!


Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to everyone and looking forward to starting over. This site seems amazing!

jabr! We're so glad that you decided to join us! Remember, Phase 1 is only for two weeks, you can do it! The first day or two are the hardest, but after that your cravings should be gone and it will be a lot easier. Make sure to get in your 4 1/2 cups of vegetables each day, along with a serving of beans and dairy, too, to help you avoid that "fluish" feeling that some people experience around the third or fourth day. We hope you come and join us in the daily chat!

I am allergic to milk, so no dairy. I eat 2 salads that I make everyday that are filled with romaine lettuce, olives, one boiled egg, 2 slices of chicken, 1/4 cup of cheese, green peppers, celery with Low Fa, Low Carb (2 g) and Low Sugar (1 g) Italian Dressing.

The only type of beans that I like are black beans, so I guess that I am out of luck.

Wecome to the site. i hope you find a lot of great ideas and support here. As far as the beans go, you can drain & rinse a can of Black Beans and throw them in your salad for lunch......OR you can make a great bean dip to use as part of your snacks. Beans are really healthy, a great source of fiber, and they'll keep you full. And even if your only interested in black beans, there's still a whole lot of different things you can do with them. Good luck while you're in Phase 1!
