General chatter - Drivers License Weight - What's Yours?

05-13-2008, 06:16 PM
Today I happened to see what weight my drivers license says....150. Ha!
Maybe that should be our new weigh what our license says. I'm getting closer!

What does yours say?

05-13-2008, 06:24 PM
I think mine says 260.

05-13-2008, 06:26 PM
mine says 195.. so I need to get that changed!! YAHHHH

05-13-2008, 06:28 PM
Wow~ Great job nelie and aerogora - you weigh less than your license says! :carrot:

05-13-2008, 06:34 PM
Hmm I'm in PA and we dont put weight on ours! I've never seen that.

05-13-2008, 06:46 PM
Interesting! On our license, we have our height, weight, and eye color. However, I filled out this info in high school when I got my first license, and haven't changed it since then. They're not very accurate.

05-13-2008, 07:04 PM
Hmm...I think mine says 160. hehehe. It was filled out in high school as well and I just say everythings the same! Im not going to say, no, actually I gained a BUNCH of

No weight on licenses in CT.

05-13-2008, 07:20 PM
No weight on licenses in Florida either. There used to be, but no more.

05-13-2008, 07:26 PM
no weight in texas either. I guess everyone already knows everything is bigger in texas, ha ha!

05-13-2008, 08:01 PM
Now that I'm 5# under my license weight, Iowa is taking it off so when I renew I won't be able to change it.

05-13-2008, 08:11 PM
My license says 215. and that Im an inch taller. :) not very accurate

05-13-2008, 08:20 PM
mine says 240
I weighed 217 this morning.

I've been living in Iowa for a couple years, but I still have my Illinois driver's license. I thought about switching over, just so I can take the weight off of it.

Mine says 180. I filled it out in high school, but I was probably actually 220-230. I don't know what the point is because they don't actually weigh you (thankfully!)

True story!!! Though most police officers that pull me over guess me to be 190-210.

Pshhh I wish!! :p

05-13-2008, 08:39 PM
PA license has no weight and it lists my height as 5'0" which i am quite certainly not!

05-13-2008, 08:48 PM
Mine was 150 for YEARS, when I was 170-200. I eventually got down to 130 while it still said 150. Now I have a new driver's license (excellent picture!!) and it reflects my true weight :)

Weighing LESS than my license was a huge goal!

just keep swimming
05-13-2008, 09:34 PM
No weight on MA licenses, either. Just sex and height. Thank goodness my new licence picture is halfway decent. My old one was of me at 16. Bad hair situation and looking very grumpy.

05-13-2008, 09:40 PM
I've always told my accurate weight at the time of getting the license. My current one says 280. I am much less than that now. In 2010, I expect I WILL be at my target weight (for a while, really!) and will have a nice, low number to accurately put down. ;)

05-13-2008, 09:46 PM
180. HS as well. Tho, I can remember my mom making a comment that she thought I was heavier. I may of been, but put 180 anyway.

05-13-2008, 09:57 PM
Mine says 201. I can't believe that I am so close to that number again. When I started losing weight at 304.5 lbs I had a 103.5 lb lie on my license.

05-13-2008, 10:09 PM
I dont have a license but my military ID says 145, lol. Its clearly a big stinkin lie!!

05-13-2008, 10:45 PM
I am 40 pounds lighter than what my license says. The truth is
I weighed much more than I put on my license at the time I filled the form out years ago.My actual weight is 40 pounds less, I no longer feel the need to lie about it.

05-14-2008, 07:09 AM
In england we dont have height, weight or eye colour or anything like that on our licences, just DOB, address, place of birth and signature and a photo...

isnt it weird how different everything is!

My license says I am 220 pounds, and an inch shorter than I really am.

Yay! I'm only a few pounds away from it being acurate again! :carrot:

(It won't be for long, though, since I plan on losing more weight :D)

05-14-2008, 07:29 AM
MO has HT and WT.

05-14-2008, 09:44 AM
Interesting thread, cause my next minigoal is to weigh what my license says: 160. I'm almost there!

05-14-2008, 11:08 AM
There's no weight, height, eye color, etc. on Nova Scotia's licenses. Just the standard name, birth date, and address.

05-14-2008, 12:25 PM
That it too funny! I alway laugh looking at my drivers license. I lied when I was 16 and put 185....I think I was just over 200 then....and it has remained the same since then. I like the idea of that being my next major get down to my drivers license weight.

05-15-2008, 03:25 AM
Hmm, mine says That IS what I weighed when I was 19 and got it renewed for the first time. It has not changed in 21 years and they have NEVER said one word about it! Even when I am standing in front of them CLEARLY weighing more than 125! My first license said 115 believe it or not...I was also an inch shorter then.

05-15-2008, 03:46 AM
Mine says 180....pfffft. I was only like maybe 10 or 20 lbs over that when I got my license in Ohio when I first moved here.......wish I was that

05-15-2008, 11:08 AM
Here in Michigan - ours no longer have a weight...hmmm... :D

05-15-2008, 04:32 PM
For the longest time mine said 155 and I thought that was what it was at. Had to take it out today and looked at it...apparently last time I renewed it I changed it to 170, lol. In my defense I am close to that weight now, so it's not too far from the truth, lol.

 :tape: :snooty: No way in h*ll I would put my weight on my license. Thank GOD PA doesn't require it. Especially when I was 16, pfft I only weighed about 150-160 ish and thought I was sooo fat then... lol I never thought I'd weigh this much! I would definitely put a false number on my license if I was required to put it on there... I don't see the need for it anyways, anyone who looks at your license does not need to know how much you weigh!! :dizzy:

05-15-2008, 05:09 PM
My DL weight says 160(!!) ... and I remember when I put that down, the first time, I actually weighed 180. Then I went and got my license renewed and whoops, did I forget to update that? :D I would have that as my mini-goal, but let's face it, that's almost there, for me!! Well, sometime next year I'll match my DL weight (for the first time).

05-15-2008, 05:23 PM
umm says 190 and i have NO IDEA what i really weighed. Wish i was close to that weight

05-15-2008, 06:38 PM
Our state redesigned the licenses like 2 years ago, and of course now that I am smaller, they dont have weight on them!

05-15-2008, 06:46 PM
Here in Nova Scotia we don't have weight on our licenses either, and that's a good thing.

I do envy those who said the picture was pretty good -- the only picture worse than the one on my license is the one on my Passport -- talk about a deer caught in the headlights. :yikes:

The cops do....especially if they are looking for you! ;)

I suppose that is true. If they're lookin for you they can look up your license and check the weight but come on now... how many people are actually honest on those? well men probably but I don't know that many women who are open about sharing their weight. But I guess some people it would give an approximate range but I say they should look at your current medical records! Can't fudge that number! unfortunately lol.

Mine says 165....hmm.....I weigh 243.

06-11-2008, 08:35 AM
Hm... my NY State ID (I don't have a driver's liscence... yet) lists my height, eye color, hair color, address, birthday but doesn't mention my weight at all. Which is good, because until I got this new ID, i was using my learner's permit, which I got when I was 264lbs and I'd been having some problems with it since I look so different now (same with my passport, which I still need to change -- the Italian border people have stopped me a few times lol).

06-11-2008, 01:09 PM
mine says 200

06-12-2008, 01:15 PM
Mine says 195. :D

I never thought about it before. I do notice every time I have to show it for ID that the picture does not look a bit like me anymore. My hair is much shorter and my face is *much* thinner.

Maybe that'll be one of my rewards when I get to my goal - go get a new driver's license with the correct weight and a photo that actually looks like me! :)

06-12-2008, 01:18 PM
Mine says 170.

I was over 200 (by several pounds) when the picture was taken. I am currently just under 140.

I don't know why, but I have little desire to get a new picture and DL. Every time I look at it I'm reminded of where I've been, where I am, and what I need to continue to do.

And I think the effect is heightened because the picture itself is so terrible. So I look unhealthy and am having a bad hair day!

06-13-2008, 03:17 PM
My state ID says 105lbs I think I weighed less at the time but I didn't realize it untill going to the doctors ... I am currently 146 lol!!! way off .. I think the whole thing behind the weight on the license is somewhat of a security measure ..they don't worry about it being perfect but rather a "estimate" I mean they arnt going to see you and say "yup thats you you look 125.9 lbs to me!!! but if they see your license says 125 and you are much much heavier they might start to wonder the same if they saw a caucasion person hand over a license w/ a pic of a hispanic person in it lol that would be a bit obvious ! ...I don't know about other states but here in maine it expires after 5 years and you have to renew it .. so.... as for me I will be getting my drivers license soon so it will be bye bye 105lbs LOL waaa :(

06-13-2008, 04:09 PM
I just renewed mine and I have 187. Wishful thinking, but not for long! (
