Wink Feels good to fit in teen daughter clothes

What an incentive for me to keep going. I would've never thought I could ever fit my athletic and fit teen daughters clothes. I love it. You too can do the same if I could. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the encouragement.

I tell everyone to keep the FAITH in yourself and be happy even if you don't lose a lb. every week.

Also Congrats on your 0.8 lb. lost to me watching my losing weight is like watching paint dry, it drives me nuts.

Goodluck with your weight loss and stay encouraged!!!

It IS the greatest, isn't it? It's kinda like a dream come true. Who woudv'e thunk that I'd be sharing clothing with my daughters. Bizarre almost. They really saved me when I had so little clothing. It was great "shopping" in their closets. We share clothing now all the time.

OMG....I just had to do that yesterday robin!! I didn't have a blouse to wear with this pink flowered skirt i was going to wear yesterday so i went and looked in my 16 year olds closet and got one of her little blouses. When i came home, she looked at me like her eyes were going to pop out of her head because i was wearing her shirt!! lol. I've worn her jeans to work on friday before too and she was a little freaked out about that too. But this will be a good thing...if i can find anything with color in her closet. she wears mostly black. But yeah....a great feeling to fit in my teens clothes!!!

I am sure that it feels good....but I have had this experience with my own mother (when I was a teenager/early twenties), and I understand their reaction.

My daughter was a little peeved too, but it was because she had gained some weight and couldn't wear the item anymore. She didn't like me wearing it if she couldn't.

My 16 yr. old DD has been gaining weight and was recently upset to find that my jeans are too small for her. Before this we were wearing the same size and would share some clothes.

I'll bet! If my daughter was still a teen, I'd fit in her clothes, too. She's 24, has gained some weight, and I wear several sizes smaller. She gave me some clothes she used to be able to wear, and I fit in them. I'm saving them for her to wear when she gets down to where she wants to be.
