Morning everyone, waiting for me? :coffee:

It felt so good just lying in bed with the windows open, listening to the birds. I decided to just enjoy it. :) I think I'm going to skip Curves this morning and just do the 4 mile WATP instead. I have a load of laundry going already, and am planning on taking my breakfast out on the patio. It's supposed to get into the 80s today!

BTW, the turkey meatloaf w/ mushrooms and white beans from the new book is fabulous!

What's everyone doing today?:cofdate:

05-07-2008, 07:36 AM
hello sweet Cottage... enjoy your day

I'm at work. I have a 4 pm appt with the trainer. yoga was good last night.

official weigh in today has me up .4 to 220 even. i'll live.

feeling out of sorts and disconnected from many things.

05-07-2008, 07:39 AM
Cottage, enjoy your day of beautiful weather and your walk!! Weather makes such a difference in how we feel. It is gorgeous here too..also will be in the 80's today.

I posted this on the "what's for dinner" thread, but wanted to tell ya'll here about it. I ordered a non stick grill basket ( for my outdoor grill and we used it last night. Threw some vegs on first, then when they were done, threw some shrimp on. We both flipped over how yummy it all was and just one pan to clean that washed up very quickly. I think we are going to be using this baby a lot!

Then, for a snack yesterday evening, we ate some tuna salad on Mary's Gone Crackers. I think a serving of the crackers is 13 and 6 or 7 of them with the tuna on top was very filling and yummy.

Nothing fun happening here today, but I did get a lead on a dream teaching job that I am pursuing for the I have to talk to "all the right people" to land it. Got my foot kind of in the door yesterday, but have more folks to talk to about it.

Nessa, we were posting at the same time. Hope your day gets better. Maybe more yoga today????

05-07-2008, 08:01 AM
Good morning ladies!

Cottage -- What is WATP? Sounds interesting.

Nessa -- Sorry you are out of sorts, I have those days too.

Femme -- Good luck! What do you teach?

No big plans here today...I plan to take the baby for a walk -- maybe at the mall if it rains. I have some returns to do. And my mom got back last night from a week-long girls trip to mexico, so I hope to see her today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

:coffee2: Good morning Chicks :)

Cottage - I often do wait for you in the morning. My brain wakes up slowly and I'm just not creative enough to get things started, at least not until a couple of cups. I love the birds in the morning but I do wish they would wait until 5:30 instead of 4:30!

Nessa - Can you get out into the sun today? Wish I could send you some virtual bath salts and a few hours of pampering just for you.

Cat - I have one of those baskets but it doesn't fit into my new, easy grill. I broke down and bought a gas grill a couple of years ago and love it. After years of fussing with mushrooms on skewers I realized I can toss them in a bowl with some lf balsamic vinaigrette and then toss the whole things right onto the grill. Works great and is so easy! I'm also addicted to eggplant slices just sprayed with oo and grilled on both sides. My mom can't get used to that one because I grew up hating eggplant. Oops I've been side-tracked by grilling!
The dream job possibility sounds wonderful. :crossed:

I've got a lopsided day today. A late meeting will keep me out until 9:30ish. I don't have to go in until noon so that helps a very little bit. I have to think like Cottage and plan my exercise this morning :)

I'm back on plan again happily and this morning the scale responded by moving a little (finally!). I'd like to be at goal when I leave for Maine in a little less than two weeks. I think I will actually use that goal number as my redline and drop another 5. Speaking of Maine - I'm going to try the egg muffins so I have an easy breakfast. Anyone have recommendations for salads you especially like?

Okay, gotta get motivated and get moving :) Have a good day!

05-07-2008, 08:03 AM
Natalie'sMom - We were posting at the same time :) Have a good day. I love WATP, discovered it on these boards. They are in home walking programs with a variety of levels. I used them a lot when I first started. I especially like the Walk Strong DVD because it mixes some weight work in.

05-07-2008, 08:11 AM
Mornin ladies!!

Cottage -- enjoy the beautiful weather...breakfast out on the patio sounds amazing!!

Nessa....4 pounds could come from anywhere....hope today is better than yesterday for you!!

Cat...good luck with the teaching fingers are crossed for ya!!! That grill basket sounds like it would be very handy to have around...might have to go get one myself!!

ME....I was hoping that today would be better than yesterday, but so far I've overslept because I didn't set my alarm, and honestly at this point, I don't care!! Yesterday morning I got up, got in my Liberty and got on the road. Almost to the interstate and realized that my trans/emissions light was on. Seeing as I drive 100 miles/day, I didn't want to risk it so I turned around and came home to get the wrangler. No biggie, Then I get in the Wrangler, and it died in the driveway and took a minute to restart....but all was well with it and it carried me to work just fine. Tooling down the road to work and look at my inspection expired in biggie, I'll go get one on my lunch break and just hope I don't get a ticket between now and then. Well, I pull up to the place...get out my insurance and registration.....the freakin registration was expired!!!!! That was a reminder of a lazy no good ex that I specifically remember handing it to him and asking him to put it in the wrangler.....Lord knows what he did with it. Work was another drama filled day....our regional manager is coming today and will hopefully be receptive to everything the team has to say. It's really sad when ONE person on the team of seven can ruin things for everyone else with her immature and innapropriate behavior. Yesterday patients were dropping like hotcakes...did so many "dead" man lifts yesterday that I was impressed with myself for not hurting myself and for having the upper body strength to do it!!! I guess the gym really is working?!? haha... Then come home to search for the registration for the's no where to be found....then here comes the headache. Oh...and my doctor called me yesterday with results from bloodwork and she wants me to take at trial of Metformin....but I told her I was going to wait until I came back from Alaska to start taking it. I HATE taking medicine.

SO....I"ve decided that even though I forgot to set the alarm, today WILL be a better day!! Going to the DMV at lunch to get a new registration (hopefully) and then get the inspection sticker. Then after work taking the Liberty to a mechanic to find out what's wrong with it. And if I get home early enough I"m going work out in the yard. Get some "dirt" therapy!! haha

WOW...sorry for the rant ladies.....had to get it out!!

Happy Wednesday!!!!

05-07-2008, 08:13 AM
Mornin Nataliesmom and cyndi....we were posting at the same time! Happy Wednesday!

05-07-2008, 08:21 AM
Maybe I was wrong.....woke up late, and the dogs dug up and chewed up a hibiscus tree.....

05-07-2008, 09:01 AM
Mandy...don't know if you know this or not, but there is going to be a Culinary Superstore opening out towards the airport...maybe this summer. Alacks and another store in N.O. are merging. It will be a big warehouse/showroom filled with restaurant supplies. Could be a very dangerous place for me to go armed with a debit card.

Nat's mom...right now I teach 1/2 day computer lab...I have 300 kindergardeners...5 classes a day and they come in every 3 days (I also have a web design business and work from home in the afternoons and evenings) I used to teach "regular" kindergarden and have also taught 1st, 5th and 6th grades. I want to give up the business cause I have very little time off and usually work 7 days a week unless I have a slow day, which isn't very often. I would love to get back into a "regular" classroom.

05-07-2008, 09:05 AM
Good morning chicks, I am back and survived my couple of weeks from ****. Still lots to do but at a more sane pace hopefully. I have stuck on plan pretty well, at least the last two days have been clean.
I was planning to take today off, but I've got some loose ends to tie up this morning and then I will take the rest of the day. I'm meeting a friend for lunch and some shopping. Of course I made myself a big to-do list so it won't really be a day for relaxing, but I plan to have all my cleaning and laundry done by Friday and no work this weekend, and I have decided I will have a weekend of only fun things. I just need to decide what I want to do...

Nessa, I am sorry you're in a funk today.
Cottage, thanks for the recipe review. That sounds like one I'll need to try.
Cat, good luck with the job hunt!
Hi Nat's Mom! I am another WATP fan. They are a great workout and you don't need much room.
Cyndi, I am jealous of your Maine trip. We lived in Portland for a couple of years when DH was in school and I loved it. Except the winter was too long. And the water was too cold for swimming in the summer. Other than that it's a great place! Very nice people up there.
hi mandyleigh, hope today goes better for you.

05-07-2008, 09:19 AM
good morning. nothing much going on here. Extremely tired today. I don't know what Leo's problem has been the past few days but we've been getting into fights left and right for the past 3 days. I am so irritated and frustrated. DS2 came home from school yesterday with a fever so he can't go to school today. He has ADHD and asthma so it makes my day alittle rough. I was planning on doing alittle grocery shopping but I guess not. It's hard to do anything with him. Maybe I'll go when his meds had kicked in. He's extremely calm when his meds work. DS1 had a cinco de mayo performance monday night and they are doing it again at the school this morning for the 5th graders. I'm potty training DD and it's going fairly well. DS3 is sick. I think he has asthma but the doctor says that he doesn't. I think he does. She says it's RAD (reactive airway disease) which she doesn't consider asthma. But he gets breathing problems the same way and same time as DS 2 when he has breathing problems. Well, I better get going. Need to get DS1 ready for school. Will be back later.

05-07-2008, 09:51 AM
Cottage: enjoy the beautiful day :) It's supposed to be 70's here. Its nice to be warm again after that chili spell!!

Nessa: your life sounds really crazy right now. I'm sorry. I hope you get to calm down in a day or 2

Femme: I've seen those baskets at Wegmen's.. I was wondering if they work. how much was yours online, if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to compare it to the price at Wegmen's.. :D

nat's mom: enjoy the walk. I hope you see your mom too. Sounds like you miss her.

Cyndi: sounds like you're busy..congrats to being back on plan!! :D Those last few pounds are always hard.. Keep it up. Where are you going in Maine? I've been to Portland and Peaks Island... Its beautiful over there!!!

Mandy: sorry about the hibiscus tree... that's gotta stink. Were you able to replant it? Sometimes rants are a necessity.. sounds like you've had a CRAZY couple of days!! I hope today gets better..

Schmoo: Sounds like a good plan to get everything done before the weekend. I am never done. LOL. Enjoy lunch and shopping with your friend. :D

TK: WOW... I'm sorry for your crazy days.. You're going through a lot. I hope you are able to take a few moments for yourself and relax a little. It seems there is something going on with each of your children.. hang in there

Me: Lots of crazy days and mishaps going on!! Me I'll be doing a 4mile WATP. I did the 3 mile yesterday. I ordered one of those waist belts off Ebay last night. We'll see how that works :D I have cookies to make. I'm making Oatmeal. They're all SBD except for the Raisins. But I couldn't find any dried fruit that hadn't been sweetened at the store I went to other than raisins. At least the sugar in them is natural... there won't be much anyways.. Then the lunch "party" and then off work with DH!!!
I'll be a busy chickie.. but nothing crazy :)

05-07-2008, 09:54 AM
Good morning! It's Wednesday which means we are getting even closer to the weekend.

Cottage thanks for the heads up on the recipe. Do you think it will be good even if we don't use mushrooms?

Nessa I hope you get back into the groove again - I hate hearing you are out of sorts

Cat thanks for the grill basket idea - I'm thinkin it makes a good fathers day gift for dh as he loves to use his grill

Schmoodle glad you survived. Good luck and getting everything done.

Hello to all the other chicks I hope you have a great day

I just found out this morning that a whole foods store will be opening up not to far from me is this a good place to shop?

05-07-2008, 10:30 AM
Morning ladies....unfortunately I did a longer workout (great strength training and sculpting), but I'll have to leave soon to get ready to go to work.
Tonight is Open House, so I will leave today at 7:10 and won't get home until 8:30. It's a long day. And we got some terrible news yesterday, and I won't know the extent until I get to work, but one of my co-workers, who just had a baby last week, had to go in to the hospital for an emergency hysterectomy. When she got to the hospital, she had already lost so much blood that they called the family and told them to come to the hospital immediately because they weren't sure if she'd make it. I'm so concerned about the family (3 little ones under the age of 6). Even if it went well, and she pulled through, I know it'll be a long recovery. I'm really praying that I don't find out when I get to work that she didn't pull through. If you're a praying person, send some prayers out for Kia and her family.

05-07-2008, 10:36 AM
GONNA, I'm sure that meatloaf recipe would work just as well without the mushrooms. Whole Foods is a good place to shop, but I find the prices are somewhat higher than I spend elsewhere. You can find a lot of interesting things there, though.

TDI, I just finished the 2 mile WATP with the weights. I was going to do the 4 mile, but just didn't have it in me today. Good luck with your oatmeal cookies, but keep in mind the sugar content in the Splenda Blend!

TK, you really seem to be under a lot of stress lately, I sure hope things start looking brighter for you and the little ones get better soon!

Schmoodle, now remember, it's your day off! Make sure you take time just for YOU, and have fun clothes shopping! Let us know what all you bought!

Nessa, sorry you're feeling so down today.

hmacneil, that's so sad about your co-worker! I'll be keeping her in my prayers, and I hope all turns out well.

Nat's mom, have a good time with your mom today!

Cyndi, sounds like you're having a work day like mine today. I usually have mornings off, then work from noon until 5. I learned to love having my mornings! I'm happy to hear you are back on track again!

Cat, I hope you get that teaching position you want!

05-07-2008, 10:56 AM
Sorry guys, no time this morning for personals. I'm wishing you all a happy and safe hump day!

My husband has a big interview at a college today for an instructorship over the fall. Cross your fingers and say a prayer for him. It looks pretty good that he will get the job, but there is always that chance :)

Other than that, not much going on. Calvin had problems sleeping last night for some reason, he cried for an hour after we put him to bed. I think he's getting to be afraid of the dark. I got him up (hubs wasn't home) and let him watch Notty, the cartoon for awhile and then put him back to bed with the hall light on. It seemed to work. He also woke up early this morning and seemed afraid to go back to sleep. I really hope this doesn't interfere with nap time -- it's my only time to get things done! :)

I made breakfast this morning, but I'm really not hungry. It must be nerves about the interview.

05-07-2008, 11:00 AM
zeffry-my two year old gets like that sometimes too. We don't understand why. We don't know if it's nightmares or what. She'll sleep then wake up suddenly and scream and cry. I'll take her out of bed to lay with me and her dad can put her to bed. She's fine if she's laying with me but as soon as we put her back to bed, she screams bloody murder. And she sleeps in the same room as us. We have no idea. She'll start getting like that the next night but we will just kind of ignore it and she do just fine. It's happened probably twice.

05-07-2008, 11:04 AM
Zeffryn my prayers are with you and your dh - be sure to let us know how it goes

05-07-2008, 11:07 AM
Morning all! I'm joining in late because I woke up late. Bad thing since I have my first final today at two, so I have to get a lot of work done in a short amount of time.

By the way, loved Iron Man. Great movie. Will definitely see the sequel and will definitely own it when it comes out on dvd!

Well, off to do some deed research! Hope you all have a good day!

05-07-2008, 11:09 AM
Kim good luck with your final - I hope you pass. Thanks for the Iron Man reveiw - I'm not telling my dh as I know he will really want to see it.

05-07-2008, 11:11 AM
Femme: I've seen those baskets at Wegmen's.. I was wondering if they work. how much was yours online, if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to compare it to the price at Wegmen's..

It was around 19 and some change including the shipping..not bad at all.

I'm jealous you are getting a Whole Foods!!! My favorite "toy land!". I have to drive to New Orleans or Baton Rouge to go play. It IS expensive, but the vegs and fruit are so wonderful along with all the rest of the easily found "healthy stuff".

05-07-2008, 11:13 AM
tdiprincess - We will be on the Wells/Ogunquit border. We've gone every spring for the last 6 or 7 years. We used to go in early June and camp. Last year we discovered this condo complex that runs a $79/night special in spring. It's just too good to pass up :)

Okay, got out and got a vigorous walk in this morning. I will get at least one more in at lunch time so this day should stay on track :)

Now to get my brain into work mode. Have a good day!

05-07-2008, 11:50 AM
Thanks for the replies about whole foods - we have Fresh market here and so far everyone is saying whole foods is cheaper and has more - we shall see. It's set to open June 1st and I can't wait

05-07-2008, 11:51 AM
Well, I'm at work and things seem to be ok. My co-worker went through a complete hysterectomy last night and pulled through. The day instantly got better.
I hope everyone has a good hump day!

05-07-2008, 11:59 AM
Gonna-In northern Virginia the Whole Foods stores used to be Fresh Markets. Whole Foods "bought them out". I occasionally go to Whole Foods, but I think they are expensive. I would never do all my shopping there unless money was no object. They do have good produce, seafood market, meat counter, vegetarian choices, bakery & deli. They have their own brand of products, I think they are called 365. I think many of their own brand items are delicious--like spaghetti sauces. You can make your own natural PB or other nut butters there.

Good morning everyone! Taking DH for his spinal epidural shots today. He is past due and beginning to hurt again. I can't convince him to stick with his physical therapy routine. He is the type that will do something for a couple weeks at most and feel better, then stop because he feels better. Wonder why he hurts again??? duh! He thinks there should be a magic pill or shot to cure everything. I'll be packing some more boxes today. I also have to get to the post office to mail mother's day cards and DD b-day card.
Have a fun hump day!

05-07-2008, 11:59 AM
Kim - Good luck!! :crossed:

05-07-2008, 12:04 PM
Good morning everyone

Praying for Kia and her family, hoping to hear good news.

I hope everyone day is going better now.

No news here, other than Friday I got picked for PEP award at work- Performance Excellence Program only 10 top ten in IS for the year get this award...nice to get recognization : )

05-07-2008, 12:05 PM
Hmacneil6 great news!!!

05-07-2008, 12:26 PM
Basically.. the cookies are done. I didn't have oat meal so I just used oat bran and quinoa. I will be careful with the cookies myself.. they taste quite yummy and are very good. They're a bit different because of the lack of oat meal. But DH approved.. I'll be back later on...

little chick
05-07-2008, 12:29 PM
Hello chicks.... can you hear that .... thats right nothing..... complete quiet.... I love nap time. lol. Crazy busy day here again today. The water has gone down alot but still have to turn the pumps on every hour or so as the basement still fills up quick. I am hoping that this week gets over quick... it has been a terrible two weeks sick, water which has caused me to totally stress eat. I am going to weigh in at TOPS tonight and I am not looking forward to it. But I do have my meals planned for a new start once again tomorrow. :) Hope everyone has a great day, must dash and put the last load of laundry in and finish the lunch dishes while everyone is sleeping. Then it is off to enjoy the sunshine at the park. Have a great day chicks.

05-07-2008, 02:07 PM
Hi, everyone! Sorry I didn't get in here earlier!

Hope everyone's day is going well. I don't think I'll have time to do personals for everyone...but I do read every post. :)

TK, I read this article ( and totally thought of Leo. I wonder if you can find a program like this anywhere in our area. If you're interested, I'll ask my therapist when I see her tonight--she used to be a nurse and has a lot of great contacts in the area.

Cottage, that sounds wonderful! When I studied in Mexico, our host mother fed us breakfast out on her back patio and it was such a romantic, peaceful way to begin the day! I should treat myself to that more often! Do you think I could make the meatloaf recipe into patties? I personally hate meatloaf, but I think I could stomach "burgers" and the ingredients sound yummy...

Nessa, I hope you feel more connected soon. Sometimes, though, I think our mind/body does that to protect us when things around us are overwhelming. I understand how totally frustrating it is when your weight bounces around a number you hate--but stick with it, girl! I would give a limb to be back fighting with 200 again...but I let the frustration get to me (along with other things) and now I'm in the middle of losing the 40 pounds I regained! Thanks for putting me on to the Beck program...I'm really struggling with it, but it's helping me see that some of my problem is lapsed commitment to this journey.

Cat, :goodluck: with the job!

MandyLeigh, please always feel free to vent here! If we don't get it out, we usually end up putting a lot of stuff in! ;) Hope today is much, much better! Congrats on the NSV of a strong upper body! :strong:

TDI Princess, I use raisins often (in very small amounts) and haven't had any adverse effects, though I do find them incredibly sweet! :yikes: I've found that it can be easy to locate unsweetened dried apricots, and they don't seem to set off cravings. You can chop them up easily if you spray a pair of kitchen shears with nonstick spray (PAM) before cutting. Another option is freezedried fruit though I haven't tried them yet in baking, but I like to throw them in cereal. There are two unsweetened dried/freezedried brands I've tried--one I found in a grocery store near my parents in WA and the other is in the Nature's Market section of our Wegman's. The first is the "Just ____" brand ( in the blank with the name of a fruit or veggie). I really like the Just Apples ('re cut into little sticks and have the skin on the ends, so they are chewy, crunchy, and yummy! The other is Crunchies brand ( sell single fruits and vegetables or a mix. The raspberries ( awesome...crunchy and just the right amount of sour. Mmm!

Heather, I'll be praying for horrible! :sorry: So glad to hear that things worked out--but you're right, it'll be a long recovery.

Zeff, I was afraid of the dark for years and years--my parents put in a little shaded lantern-type light and it gave me enough light to feel safe but not so much that I couldn't sleep. When I got older, I got over it, but I can sleep with the lights on--a great talent to posess when you're in college! ;) Don't worry. I'll keep DH in my prayers.

KimStar, I LOVE your new avatar! You're such an exotic beauty! :flame:

LC, don't beat yourself up, dear heart. Just try to fit in some exercise...even if it's bouncing around the living room with the kids to a silly song. It'll help with the stress and the weight!

:congrat: Pearl! That's a wonderful recognition!

Somebody in a discussion on here called Whole Foods a funny name indicating that even though it has awesome stuff, it tends to take your whole bank account to pay for your purchases! I'd love to have one near me, nonetheless!

Yikes...It's 1:00 and I'm finally finishing this post...

Had a great strength training workout yesterday. I really love that stuff and wish I had more time to do it--everyday would rock! I used one of those half ball bubble things (the kind you balance on) yesterday while doing some of my dumbbell exercises. I saw a big, burly guy doing it last week and wanted to try. It wasn't too hard, but it definitely kept my other muscles working while I did the weights. Fun!

Off to the gym for elliptical after work. I have my Food and Mood group tonight. I'm currently really stuck in my "don't want to feel emotions--must smother them with food" state. :p I hope to talk about it with the girls and see what I can do to get myself out of that rut. I talked with my nutritionist yesterday (who said I lost some fat...must not have been a pound's worth or he'd have told me, I think) and my therapist about it and that must have helped, because I was able to stick to plan for the rest of the day. The Beck book's Day 3 (sit down while eating) really helped--I sit down for all my meals, but I didn't realize how much picking and snacking I do on my feet!

Hope everyone has a great day! I went across the street to Dunkin' Donuts for an iced latte lite (and to get a cup of coffee for a coworker who bought me one last week) and the weather was amazing!!! :goodvibes

Man, I wish Whole Foods would buy out the Fresh Market here. It is a farce as far as natural food stores go.

05-07-2008, 04:05 PM
YIKES! I can't even begin to think about doing personals. Decided to take a 5 minute "me" break while everyone is out of the office! Things around here are crazy and everything is taking 5 times the amount it used to. This mortgage slump is going to be the death of me! We aren't feeling it in downturn of loans in fact we are the opposite since we do goverment loans but darn these underwriters are getting vicious! Oh and I have my fair share of idot real estate agents (sorry if there are any of you out there I don't mean to offend)!

TOM is here so you guessed it the scales are up, eating stinks and I am rather &*@chy!

Oh I finally have a pic from DD prom to share! Look she is fully clothed!!! Have you seen what these girls are wearing to prom now a days???? Yup thats me before a much need visit to the hair master last weekend, looking better now!

Alright my "me" time is over as I hear the fax machine ringing. Have a great evening chicks!

05-07-2008, 04:22 PM
Wow Stephanie your daughter is such a pretty young lady - love the dress

05-07-2008, 05:16 PM
Stephanie, DD is very pretty and so is her mom. Yes, I've seen, DD1 had her prom just a couple of years ago. It gets pretty icky.

I am back from my shopping trip, lots of fun. We had lunch at a Mexican place, which I used to like but have avoided since SBD, but now I see no need. They now have a section of the menu for lighter entrees and offer ww tortillas. I had a really good salad and some grilled shrimp. Then we spent a couple of hours at Kohls trying on clothes. I learned that trying on pants stinks no matter what size you are. I tried on about 25 pairs and ended up with two that fit me right, although they'll have to be hemmed. I also scored an awesome black Vera Wang skirt from the clearance rack and treated myself to a clear lucite bangle with rhinestones. I know, sounds very tacky and gaudy but it's pretty.

Well, off to get dinner started, yummy Capri chicken, can't wait to try it. Then I've got to go to school for the sex class meeting for DS's class - it was postponed from a couple of weeks ago. I'll let you know if I learn anything. Have a good night chicks!

beachgal-thank you soooo much. I appreciate it.

everyone has TOM. I do too. There are other threads with women and TOM. Is everybody's body tuning into everyone else's?! lol

I wish it would be my TOM. Well....not really, but I wish there was something. I can't figure out why I skipped last month. Pregnancy test after pregnancy test tells me that THAT isn't it....who knows.

DH just got home from his interview. It was only the first interview, so I knew he wouldn't come home with an offer (but a girl can dream, right?). It looks really good! Now we wait for the call about a second interview with the suits of the college. I guess I better pick out what suit he's going to wear and make sure it's drycleaned. :) Needless to say, I'm a happy camper.

Not so good though, DH and I were invited over to a friend's house. We agreed and then found out they were having rabbit for dinner...ick. Honestly, who serves rabbit for dinner when you're having guests? Rabbit was one of the reasons why I was a vegetarian for so long. Now I need to decide whether or not we're going to cancel, or eat dinner before we go over and "just not be very hungry".

Sounds like everyone has had a busy day. I didn't get lunch until almost 3PM and I still haven't finished my morning cup of tea. Work has been nonstop and Twilight Camp is coming along wonderfully. I just had a large pack pay online so I feel so much better now that we are finally getting registrations.
