Hey everyone! Let’s do it differently this month.

Bring out your competitive side! Let’s challenge each other to see who can stay POP the most days in May. Of course, we should all shoot for 31!

Keep track of your POP days and we’ll see who the winner is for the month. I wish we could give out prizes, but I guess weight loss & better health is prize enough!!

We'll check in at month-end and I'll post something w/ our results.

Count me in! I am going to make a calendar and keep it in my food journal and mark the days that I stay POP. Thanks this is a good idea. Have a great day everyone.

POP is Perfectly on Plan. No deviations.
And honestly I should participate. Ok you got me I will. I am doing TO today so I will count that as POP and also tomorrow as long as there are no slip ups. Good luck all!

Woohoo joiners! Hopefully my competitive nature will kick in and I will do good this month.

Cecilia, I bet if you stay POP most of month you'll be less than 5 lbs from goal.

ok now that i know what POP Means i am in for the ride, but i am tellig you all now on my wedding day i am not going for the POP im going for the food and cake..LOL

I hear ya Shannon. I’m already at a disadvantage here b/c we’re going to Las Vegas the last week of the month. So at best I’ll be POP for 25 days. But that’s WAY better than 16 days last month and I still lost 4.2 lbs. It’s what you do the majority of the time that counts.

If I can stay POP until we leave, I’ll meet my Memorial Day goal and probably be down another 5-10 lbs before my vacation. Which is a must b/c I just ordered a bunch of clothes to wear on my vaca in the next smallest side b/c all of my stuff is starting to get WAY too baggy! If I don’t stay POP, I won’t fit into it!

Speaking of clothes…….this is the first season in YEARS I’ve still been able to fit into my clothes from last year. Not only that, but a lot of my clothes from last spring/summer are too big! I went to town on my closet the other day and I have so much stuff! Ranging from size 18-36! I can’t wait to be able to wear some of my old favorites. I found stuff that I’ve never even worn before & lots that was practically new but I outgrew too fast to wear much. Crazy.

It will be so nice to fill up my storage bins w/ clothes that are too big instead of too small.

I attached a chart so we can see who’s winning our challenge! Keep me updated on your progress and I will update our chart on this post. Check back often to see how everyone is doing!

Hopefully all those blue bars we will be even b/c we are doing such a great job supporting each other!

Ok I wasn't sure what pop was I guess so I updated mine to reflect my real popness. Not looking so good. I was counting days when I wasn't getting all my food in as pop. Oops!

So far so good I am POP and even managed to make it through without sticking my fingers in the milkway cake I made for the folks at work and that was not easy let me tell you . I brushed my teeth and chewed the strongest peppermint gum I could find so as not to lick my fingers lol

Great job Lois! No way I could do that. I must stay as far away from chocolate as possible……even writing that gives me cravings.

I was up a on Monday, but am now back down & then some. I was very happy w/ my WI today. I actually get to move my ticker! I know I was up on Monday b/c I wasn't POP last Friday. Darn liquid starches get me every time. Made some really bad food choices after a few too many cocktails. I'm going to try and take things easier this weekend, but it will be hard. We have a wedding reception tomorrow night w/ a bunch of people from my old job. They are partiers & tons of fun. It will be hard to not get caught up in the moment.

I've also started walking every other day. My dogs love it and it's a really great way to unwind after a stressful day.

Question if you don't get all your food in for the day can you not count it as pop? By the way I only have my last 10 left till goal! Whooo hooo!

Can I join in this POP challenge? I know that we are almost halfway through the month. However, I could really use the accountability.

5/9 - POP
5/10- POP
5/11- Not Pop (down a fruit)
5/12 - POP
5/13 - Not POP (down my dairy) I have to go shopping

Cec – looks like we both have weekend issues (surprise). What are we going to do to stay on track this weekend?

It’s going to be a rough one for me….tons of parties. My weekend actually starts tomorrow b/c I took Thursday & Friday off.

I say yes to if you don’t get all your food in for the day it is still POP. Jill’s rules. I hardly ever get all my food in. I have WAY too much b/c I don’t do Lites.

You hit 40 lbs!! And 10 lbs to goal! That is just awesome Cecilia. Great job!

BTW – I am in the lead!! Who would’ve thought?? I’m in a really good place right now. Even when I’ve cheated, it hasn’t been that big of a deal and I get right back on track the next day. I’m pretty sure it’s the weather. Been getting out lots!

I’m bettin’ Cecilia & I will be tied once she updates.

Now if I could just stay away from those liquid starches and fruits…………

Well I made it about the first 6 days. I am still sticking with the program but I am not perfectly on plan. I am staying positive so I will keep going to achieve my first mini goal...Memorial day challenge. My second mini goal will be to stay as close to pop from Memorial Day to Fathers Day and try to lose another 5 pounds in those 2 weeks. I still have to have a few things that are not on plan. Good luck to the others on the POP challenge.

Hi guys! I am so sorry I haven't been here more to motivate. We're leaving for Vegas this weekend and I am so busy w/ preparations. And I am taking an insurance exam on Friday. Of course I waited until the last minute to start studying.

Welcome to the new joiners! I'll try to post a new chart later this week to see if anyone is beating me : ) I was off plan for 3 days last week so somebody might just have caught up!
