treat myself to a vacation in San Diego. What are you going to do when you lose the weight?

04-22-2008, 08:49 PM

I'm at my goal and my "what I'm going to do" is to make sure it NEVER comes back again. I'm having a wonderful time buying clothes and living again since I feel so good.

Get a tummy tuck. I have lost the weight before and needed a tuck then...LOTS of extra skin hanging around (literally)...should have done it then. So this is ON.

What a great question to stay motivated. I am going to get a fabulous new wardrobe in Europe (I've always wanted to go!) I've already started a savings account for every pound I lose in a two week period I sock that amount of my paycheck away into a special account (if I can afford to its nice to see one number drop and a new number grow!)

Eat a bowl of icecream. And buy some new clothes. :)

My best friend said he'd buy me a new Blackberry!!

I like your idea Buckirouge!

hmmm... I think I'll go to Spot (the local starbucks) and order myself a yummy frappucino and then go on a little shopping spree!!
This is a very awesome! idea to keep us motivated, THANK YOU!! :)

I'd like to hike the grand canyon, stay at the ranch on the bottom, and hike back up.

When I lose the weight, I am going to ...... work hard at maintaining it so I can remain fit and healthy the rest of my life. :)

One of my goals is to do a triathlon (sp?). My DH says that because of my weight, it's not good on my knees to do any type of running. I need to lose the weight first then start running. He says it'll be harder on my knees if I start running now.

Live longer!

04-23-2008, 08:19 AM
Live better! I want to be one of those folks I see on top of mountains picnicking in their 70s :)

04-23-2008, 09:03 AM
Keep doing SB forever so I never have to lose this weight again.

04-23-2008, 09:14 AM
oh and a tummy tuck is inevitable when you are old and as fat as I was... but i might get the girls done too!

nessa-I had a breast reduction done about 5 years ago. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get it done. I love my boobies!!!! LOL.

nessa-I had a breast reduction done about 5 years ago. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get it done. I love my boobies!!!! LOL.

oh sadly they are decompressing as we speak... they are down from 48 DDD to about a 42 DD but i can cram them into a 38DD (when I roll them up)

by the time i'm done they will be C cup i'm sure and need nothing but a lift.

a maxtopexy... lots and lots of stitches... and not covered by insurance.

04-23-2008, 09:51 AM
nessa-lol. I love being in a c. I used to be 40 DD which is the same as 40E and sometimes I would be an E. After the surgery I went down to a 40C and I love it. They did the lift with the reduction and it was soooo nice. I didn't have to wear a bra for months because they were so nice and perky. But because skin stretches, I had to start wearing bras again. I am satisfied with what I have but I know that when I lose weight, it'll get smaller. That's ok too though. I had alot of stitches and staples. My internal stitches tore when I had to pick up my son who was 3 months old at the time. But it was all worth it.

I set up a reward to have lasik eye surgery and of course my ultimate will be to work hard to never gain again

My cousin had a breast reduction years ago. My Dad offered to send me there for a "transplant".

When I drop the weight, I'm going to go on my honeymoon. I just got married 4/5/08, and we took a 10 day vacation, but I told DH that I didn't want to take a honeymoon till I was under 200, and even under 175. So, that's my motivation!

04-23-2008, 11:01 AM
BTW mare, your wedding picture is very cool! But how did you keep that dress clean out there in the desert?

04-23-2008, 11:10 AM
Schmoodle, I didn't. We just got back about 10 days ago, and I've yet to take it to the dry cleaner - but it's got to be done.

Thanks. We went out to Sedona AZ for the wedding - just the 2 of us, at sunset. Very nice!!!

04-23-2008, 11:12 AM
Schmoodle I was wondering the same about the dress. LOL But I agree very cool pic Mare.

Ok so, once I am at my long term goal I plan on getting a tattoo on my lower back.

After I lose the next 10 lbs I'm treating myself to getting my nails done.

And then the next 10 lbs I'm treating/torturing myself to a brazilian wax. (I'm scared) lol

I've thought about a breast lift...I do have hangers, but they used to be managable at C cups...the DD/DDD has really made them sag more. BUT, I don't want general anesthesia. I hate the idea of elective surgery. I keep thinking of Kanye West's mom.
I know I will buy new clothes, I will HAVE to, but that will happen as I go along this journey.
I think maybe a couple really nice evening gown/cocktail dresses would be a nice treat.
I would love to go on my dream vacation to Italy, but I will go at any weight! We just have to take the time and save the money.
So many things to think of...but I also think it is important to live your life in the NOW, none of us is promised another breath, so, don't put life on hold until you lose weight!

04-23-2008, 02:54 PM
I wanted a breast reduction until I lost the weight. Now I just want what little I have left moved back where it used to be. They seem to think they've retired and should move south, far south.

04-23-2008, 08:21 PM
I can't wait to ride roller coasters again. I love that stuff and I know I'm missing out.
And just like everyone else, I'm going to keep it off!!!
