amazingplatinum - Hey there! I've just started, so I can't tell you from personal experience, but you probably will be fine as long as you start off slow. They say to wait about three weeks and I think the recommendation is no more than 45 minutes of vigorous exercise a day while you are on the weight loss phase. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
Operator265 - I've had the same experience with pedometers...even the fancy expensive ones. They don't record nearly as many steps as I know I've taken. I counted my steps once as I was walking across the building at work and it was nearly 100 steps off! Then I'll sit at my desk for about 10 minutes, look at it and it's recorded 15 steps while I was just sitting there!
I don't think I bounce around that much while I'm typing. I'm thinking of getting a heart rate monitor for when I start working out, too. It's got to be a lot more accurate than a pedometer.
