251, down 2 pounds.

Beth you did good. You could have hopped on to find it up instead of steady.

I weighed in at a even 240 this am, which I am happy about. I wish it was a little lower, but I can't be greedy and complain about a 3lb loss!

I gained 5 pounds, which puts me at 259. Exactly 5 pounds lost since Christmas, I feel like a total complete failure. Weight loss just isn't my thing. Definitely a time for a break.

Aimee, is weight loss really anyone's thing? I don't know of anyone that really loves doing this. Rather, I think we learn to love the way it makes us feel and look. What good does taking a break do? Isn't that the same thing as giving up? The only way you'll reach your goals is to keep trying....no matter how many times it takes...until you get it right.

Still no loss for three months in a row. I'm under a lot of stress which I hear can slow your metabolism but still 1500 calories a day and 5 nights a week at the gym should result in at least one pound gone right. :(

I lost two pounds in the past week. Since I have five pound mini-goals. The next mini goal is Onderland. I can hardly believe it.

Such exciting things from everyone!!

Beverly - you're rockin! Rhonda - glad to see you're back on track :)

Aimee, I know you're frustrated. And I know how hard this is. But just keep this in the back of your mind. One of my favorite quote that I've read here on 3FC goes something like this, "Losing weight is hard. Maintaining is hard. Being overweight is hard. Pick your hard." Dig deep - and know that this group is here for you :)

I weighed myself y'day. I'm back up to 187 (I had been down to 177 ever so briefly), which is where I was last summer. I'm trying not to be too down about it, but if I don't start losing soon, I'll have to look into WW (don't like counting points), Herbal Magic (cha-ching), or U Weight Loss Centre. *sigh* I've done so well on my own, but I think I may need a professional at this point.

If you are working out 5 times a week, you may need to up your calorie intake. I know it sounds strange, but I have heard others say that also.

Hugs to you! You are working so hard with little results. That has to be frustrating. Maybe try one day a week where you bump up your calories. Are you eating the same foods all the time? Sometimes changing things up can help get things moving.

Me? I stayed the same. I hurt my knee about 2 weeks ago and am not doing too well. It's frustrating.. but I'm hanging on. Can't quit! :)

I got on the scale this past Monday morning and I saw a 1 pound gain. Needless to say it was of my own doing.....yesterday I walked to my job and office and did some other errands for a total of 3 hours walking. I hope I made up for the gain but I do not want to get on the scale for a few days as I am scared I screwed up again. I have to stick with no white food and add in the low glycemic carbs. I also realise now I have to watch the calories as well. I have more on my blog about this.

Lost 3 pounds this week. :carrot::carrot:

My two month plateau may be over. I upped the amount of protein I eat and started reading labels more closely for fat content (trying to avoid those hidden fats is hard). After I did that I lost the three pounds overnight. We'll see how it goes...

I broke down and got on the scale this morning and it was the same as the ticker reports. It is still a 2 pound gain from where I started but I was scared it would be more. I am going to the palace today and walk in the gardens.....that should be some great exercise if it is not raining. If it is raining I am going to take my umbrella and walk the river, try to stay @ 1500 calories and away from white foods.

Official Weigh in Wednesday:

Another great week! Despite being all bound up for three days (probably due to stress from the firearms training I'm currently doing all this week) the scale showed 266.6 this morning! Down 2.2 pounds from last week for a total loss of 35.8. YAY!

The scale said 235.0 this morning! It was a bad week--lots of stress, 3 off-plan days--but still, I'll take the 1.6 pound loss!

Down one this week. Because I've been sick, it was a week of no cardio, and the only exercise I got was yoga. However, I am feeling much better, and should be able to get back into the cardio without feeling like my lungs are going to explode. So down one is pretty good. I'll take it!
