Hi
I did the take off with cantelopue.
I guess it depends what you perceive as good results. The first week I lost about 4 pounds between doing the take off and then switching to the regular plan.
I guess it varries from person to person but I didn't get hungry on the take off plan and I didn't buy any of their suppliments or anything, just ate the regular food and did the cantelopue instead of their juicy stuff.

I use the oranges and I lose an average of 3 lbs in 2 days (1.5 per day). Works great for me and much cheaper!!!

It is 4 oranges, and yes. You can do 4 oranges, 2 grapefruits, or 1/2 canteloupe. You can do either T.O. or F.F., whichever one you are most likely to stay on. F.F. is what you did when you first started the plan........lean meats, raw green veggies and juice or fruit. I usually lose 3-4 lbs......but everyone varies. Good luck.

I gained weight on take off.... explain that one.... (no, not with cheating).
I just take a weekend here and there that all my fruits are melons or big cleansing fruits and same with veggies... not as much weight off as TO but it's a little boost in the right direction (paired with light choices like melba tst,... like the express plan when you first started with LAWL)

I have tried to do take off three times, and everytime I do it, I get nauseous and have ridiculous dizzy spells. I'm not doing it anymore. Anyone else have that problem? I want to lose the weight, and staying on plan isn't the problem, I'm just not going to make myself sick to lose a few pounds

Desiree,

I agree I don't like the way I feel on TO either. Maybe you should try something like unlimited protien and green veggies instead of just 6 oz. I don't know just a thought. I have only done it once at the beggining and then one other time, I don't think it's worth it. Because I always only lose like 4 lbs and then I gain like 2 back so it's the same loss I would have in a week anyway. That's just my thought others may have an actual answer for you... Good luck!

Hi Everyone. Just wanted to chime in on the TO. When I did one last (read 5 months ago) I got lightheaded and got a migraine. The COD told me to eat a slice of bread. I tried it and it did help. I'm not sure why though. I am going to do a TO tomorrow and Monday. I'll let you all know how it goes. I'm hoping to get something started in the right direction on the scale.

Thank you soooo much for your input. I did the take off and lost 4 pounds and did not gain anything back. I am going to try it again next Monday...let's see if I lose.

Heidi - just remember that TO is only recommended every 2 weeks. Congrats on the loss. I did day 1 yesterday and day 2 is today. So far so good.

Good Job Laurie. I have been trying to do it every two weeks. I have three bridesmaid dresses to fit into so I need to get these last 20 pounds off.
Let me know what your results are? Did you do grapefruits?

I am doing a takeoff tomorrow and Friday and I have a few questions!
1 – Using 4 oranges a day is how I plan to do this takeoff and was wondering about the size/weight of the oranges that I should use?
2- Can I use the Luna bars instead of the Lites?
3- Egg Beaters are recommended for a vegetarian protein – is this just the normal egg beater solution or should it only be egg whites?
Thank You
