When it comes to sodium? I think I'm following Phase 1food guidelines pretty well, but I'm not sure about my salt intake. Any suggestions?

Do you have health issues that require you to monitor salt intake? I don't, so I don't bother to track mine, but I think if you are preparing most of your food at home, as one does on SB, and not going heavy with the salt shaker at the table, then you are fine.

No health issues, I didn't know if too much sodium would slow down my weight loss.

Well, if you eat some really salty things, it might make you temporarily retain some water and that would show up on your weigh in. But if you keep drinking your water, you will flush it out, so no long-term harm to your weight loss. If I know I've eaten something salty and the scale doesn't go down the way I'd hoped, I just figure I'm a little puffy, but it all works out eventually.

I goggled it...excess salt intake will increase your water weight. As long as you stay within the normal 2000mg/day area you should be good to go.
