I don't know how many of you actually remember me. I don't think I've posted in over a month. I joined the beginning of January and lost 25 lbs in less than two months, posting everyday. Then of course I got sick from working around 12 sick little children that like to wipe their germy snot and drool on me all day. For the past month I couldn't diet or work out, but actually lost 5 lbs. from being sick. So finally I was all better and back to dieting about two weeks ago, already lost another 5 lbs. even though I haven't started working out again yet. I WAS doing so well and then guess what....
.....I found out yesterday I'm pregnant.
Stephen and I have been trying for over a year and a half to get me knocked up. Ever since I got my new job I've pretty much been too tired after watching toddlers all day to really be in the mood TO try. But I've heard that's when it happens most, after you stop trying.
So know its goodbye diet and hello healthy eating. As long as all goes well, hopefully I'll be back here in 8 months trying to work off that baby weight!
madajune -- CONGRATS!!! What a great reason to stop the weight loss!! I hear that if you remain (reasonably!) active during pregnancy, it helps the weight come off easier and case make labor easier, even!! I see preggo ladies working out at the gym a lot, gently, of course.....and I think it's so so wonderful!!
