Schmoodle--how do you make your hot dog salad? I tried the recipe search, but it says something about 4+ letter words. Do you have a link or a quickie recipe?

Karla, I'm not sure if I ever posted it or not because I can't search "hot" or "dog" lol! It's a Rachel Ray recipe I SB-ized. Hot dogs are gross but every now and then I get a craving for one. I use the Hebrew National 97% fat free dogs, they are 45 calories each and taste pretty good, so I use two for a serving.
Here's the recipe:
Combine 1/4 cup yellow mustard, 2 T vinegar, 3 T veg oil in a large bowl. I use olive oil, and only about half that amount. At this point you can add some Splenda if you like a sweetish dressing. To the bowl add 1 sliced red onion, 1 shredded romaine heart, 1 8-oz sack cole slaw mix or your own shredded cabbage and carrot, 2 diced tomatoes, and 3 chopped garlic dill pickles. Toss with dressing and salt and pepper to taste. Slice up dogs and sear in a pan for a couple of minutes. Top salad with hot dogs. Serves 4.

Here's the original recipe for the Hot Dog Salad. It was in the Phase 1 Salads. :)

Thanks cottage.

Thanks Schmoodle & Cottage. I don't think hot dogs are that gross, I just don't think about what is in them!!! I love when they are grilled and get all charry and black. I think we will try the salad with grilled dogs.
Thanks again!
