Default Passover Challenge

Well ladies we have only one month until Pesach and no one loses weight over Passover so lets see how much we can lose between now and then!!

I personally am aiming to lose 6-10 lbs by Passover. April 19th.

2B2BF -- you're part of the Tribe?? I would love to join you in this challenge. My goals, as you know, are not going to be so much weight based as behavior based, but I am IN! I just talked to my dad about running a 5K while I'm home for the holiday, plus, it's the next time I'll be going home, and my family is very weight conscious so I really like being svelt when I see them, because they always notice!

Week one of our Pesach Challenge has passed! I don't get to have one of those nifty ticker things yet, but I can happily report that I have lost 3 lbs (from 192-189) so far.

How is everyone doing on their Pesach goals? I'm only 3 pounds away from 182 (my goal).

ok so i'm getting a divorce from the scale, particularly time-bound challenges, so i can't say about a goal met or lost, but just wanted to say hi!!
i'm actually going to run a 5K on Sat, pre-seder, so that should help me stay motivated! other than that, i should probably come up with some sort of plan so i don't go off the deep end...

Lizzy how are you preparing for the 5 k?

Where are you for the seders? We are hoem and it is our first time and I'm doing all the cooking which is good and bad!! Good cause I can make healthy choices but bad cause it is a tonne of work!!

How is everyone else doing with their goals? I am 2 lbs under my pesach goal and quite happy about that!

Its moments before closing down the computer for Pesah. I am so glad that you have this challenge. It took me a while to figure out the dating system because I wanted a currant support group. I started losing weight in Sept. and have lost 35 pounds with about 25 to go. Basically, its a low carb and low fat diet from my doctor. Have a Pesah.

I am having real problems with my low carb low fat diet this week because of Passover. I really miss my comfort foods especially decaf coffee and gum. Its only a few more days I will be lucky to maintain this month instead of losing. On the positive side I have been very good about preparing and eating low carb/low fat foods and I was very conscientious during the evening Sedar meals.
Its funny how some weeks are just incredibly easy and others are a terrible slog.
This is definitely a slop week.
