HEllo ladies :dizzy:

So I'm reading a new book I picked up at the library... 'The Daring Female's Guide To Ecstatic Living'... I'm not finished BUT here are the first few dares :)

1. Dare to find what makes you happy & do it for 10 min a day. :encore:
(Ex. Read, Paint, Call your best friend, go for a long walk, dance around your house, sing, organize, make funky jewelery, cook, work on your scrapbook, play silly, write, meditate, bubble bath, sip a perfect latte etc.)

2. Dare to learn something new everyday. :moped:
(Ex. Read one magazine or newspaper article you don't usually read, sign up for an online or in person class, learn a skill you always wished you had, read a book on a subject you know little about, sign up for a daily learning email etc.)

3. DAre to look forward more often than you look back :celebrate:

4. Dare to stop frustration with action :trampo:

5. DAre to have a life wish list and cross something off every year :yoga:

6. Dare to bite off more than you can chew, but learn how to spit :strong:

7. Dare to be the person you dream of being:angel:

8. Dare to love your quirks and imperfections :joker:

9. Dare to learn how to do something amazingly well and show it off :bravo:

10. Dare to have outrageous amounts of fun :carrot:

Thank you for sharing. I really like that since many of us are so fear-based. Will check out the book.

I have started :) but like I said I'm not finished with the book so only the first couple...

Sang in the car today, went on a nice long walk with a friend, watched a movie I wouldn't regularly watch and worked out 30 min on my elliptical... that takes care of 1, 2 & 4!

love it :) I already do some of that - happy stuff for ten mins a day, learn something new - well I can't help that, I'm a student LOL
I am working up the courage to volunteer in India this winter - because I absolutely love the country and want to make a difference - but I'm also really scared and it doesn't help that people are going 'oh...why India, it's a long way' etc. But I've found a reputable company and a scheme that looks wonderful. and I think think think I'm going to do it!
