S/C/G: 195/see ticker/145

Height: 5'7

Default Is this possible?

Last Monday I took my measurements and weighed in and they ended up being 39-35-48 and I weighed in at 194. This week I weighed 190 and my measurments are 38-34-47. Is it really possible to have lost an inch all over in a week? I took the measurements each time at least 3 times to make sure I got them right and I looked up on a website exactly where to place the tape to do them. Just wanted to make sure I wasnt crazy

If you've lost 4 lbs I think this sounds right! I'm not measurement expert but it sounds beleivable!

S/C/G: Lost 50 lbs, regained some

Measurements are tricky--sometimes being off just a little on where one is measuring can cause a difference. But, 4 pounds' loss plus some muscle toning could cause an inch difference here and there. Or, loss of water could do something similar.

Some say it's best to measure only once a month because of the variation.

I just did the same thing. Lost 4 lbs and one inch off of each of those measurements. The wk/b4 I had only lost 3 lbs. And I was ticked because for nearly 2 wks nothing was happening scale wise or measurement wise. Absolutely nuttin'! I think everything 'caught up' and it finally showed on the scale and on the measurements. The body can be weird like that. Don'tcha just love it when the tape measure is less than it was last time? I almost like this more than when the scale goes down. Almost.

Yep, I usually figure 5 pounds = 1 inch in most places on my bod. My weight is up about 5 pounds right now and my measurements are also up by about 1 inch all over. And my clothes feel snug.

Losing inches is sooo much more rewarding than anything, no matter how few pounds, it's the inches that make people notice, and make you feel good.
There are several reasons why you might be an inch different. Did you have gas the first time, on your period, just eat, all sorts of things.
Either way, CONGRATS!
