Across a chunk of the US and Canada lunch is done for the day - what did you have?

Lately I've been eating this awesome salad

half romaine and half spinach
2 T of craisins
2 T of pumpkin seeds (I roast them myself - no salt)
cucumber
1/3 cup diced turkey (normally it's chicken) breast
spray salad dressing http://www.wish-bone.com/Dressings/1926/Caesar-Delight-Vinaigrette.aspx

I don't know how many calories.. but it's so good!

desert square of dark chocolate - I know that is 55 calories :)

I had a salad -
Spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, celery, cucumbers topped with mustard (yeah I know, I'm obsessed with mustard lately)

Then I had green beans and Trader Joe's 'beef-less strips' with garlic, onions, pepper and cayenne pepper.

Unsure of calories but total meal is 2 WW points.

(oh and that was just my lunch, I have other snacks and such for the day)

Your lunches sound super yummy.
I had leftovers - a Italian-ish concoction I came up with the other night that had cannelini beans, chicken italian sausage, parmesan and mozarella, peppers, artichoke hearts, and spaghetti sauce. I love leftover lunches!

I had 2 low carb wrap (lavash bread) loaded with avocado, lettuce, cucumber, onion, tomato, roasted peppers, black olives, couple of thin slices of low sodium deli ham. All together came to 530 calories, but they were big and yummy, and best of all almost 1/2 the calories were from veggies! :)

I had a big-ish lunch today - 3 extra thin corn tortillas, 1 cup vegetarian refried beans, some mozzarella cheese, avocado slices and salsa. Almost 500 calories - which is a little on the high side for a lunch, but it hit the spot for me! Actually anything involving tortillas and/or salsa usually does that.

Nelie, I like your idea of premaking your salads. I've been doing a little bit of that when I buy the veggies from the store. It makes it so much easier to stay on plan. For those days when you're tired and don't feel like cooking, it's fabulous to open up that container that has cleaned greens. I also take canned beans or other veggies, rinse them (too much sodium and syrup) then store in closed containers so I can have my own "mini salad bar". I'm single, though, so I only prepare enough for 2 days or I'll get sick of my food too quickly and waste a lot.

That said, for lunch today I had
spinach greens with
kidney beans
palm hearts
artichoke hearts
and some rotisserie chicken shreds
The highlight of it is the spray dressing that I picked up at the store a few weeks ago. It's FABULOUS! I think mine is Wish Bone brand.
I also ate a tangerine and drank some water.

My salads easily last 5 days. I make 5 salads in separate tupperware containers on Sunday night (and I buy the produce on Sunday afternoon). I don't put on salad dressing though, I take it to work with me in the bottle and add it right before I eat the salad. I also carry the chicken in a separate container because I'm a freak who hates cold chicken and I HAVE to microwave it before lunch so it's nice and hot and yummy. I buy the frozen chicken breast strips from Trader Joe's (5 servings, 90 calories each) and just divide them into 5 tupperware containers and leave them in the freezer. I grab one every morning!

Why yes, I do use a lot of tupperware.

that sounds sooo good! I've been desperately craving egg salad recently. I'll have to make it soon!

Today I'm having Subway. Yes, I know it's processed and icky, but I didnt bring anything to work with me and I can fit it into my calories and it gives me an excuse to walk over there! 6" roasted chicken breast on honey oat with all the veggies (lots of hot peppers!) and fat free honey mustard

Lunch:

10 “Triscuit” snack crackers-260 c
2 TB spinach dip-75 c
(nf sour cream, dry veg soup mix, frozen spinach)
3 carrots-90 c
2 med celery stalks-25 c
2 TB nat peanut butter-210 c
12 oz V-8 juice-75 c

I've been experimenting lately and this was my lunch for today. It is not typical since it did involve a lot more cleaning, chopping and prep work than I normally do but I am trying to get myself to break the "sandwich or salad" habit.
