I had a pretty stress filled week. And I didnt count points for 2 day. I am not sure what happened to me but it was like I just didnt count and I ate more than I should have. I think it being my time of the month did not help.

So I was wondering have you found anything to really help you stay in control? Like say eating extra protein or anything like that?

That's a great question. This has been a yuck week for me too. I hope there are lots of good suggestions coming in.

Days when I get up and exercise, I feel like I am in more control- it just gets my days started right. Also, chewing gum when I am around food or cooking so I can't sneak tidbits here and there really helps me too. Planning my food out for the days helps too- it keeps me from snacking for some strange reason

Planning ahead helps with those days, because I'll have fruits & veg ready to snack on. Also, making sure I get in my exercise. Since exercise is one of the harder parts of weight loss for me, if I make sure to do even just that, I'll feel better about the day. (And often more likely to eat healthier because of it.)
