It seems that no matter where we are in the journey of life... if our food and life are in a good place OR if our food and life are not in the best place... It always helps to show gratitude. There's always something to be grateful for.

Got five? Want to share?

Please feel free to share daily or weekly or whenever you like.

I try to think of five things to be grateful for every day and write them down in a little book. It is often the same things, but that is o.k. I am grateful for: my husband, my children, my pets, the sun, friends. And this board. Still struggling, but I am here. :)

I am grateful:

-- that it's so cold out my hands and feet are freezing.
-- that garlic exists. And from garlic, you can have roasted garlic! Yummm!
-- that both my parents are alive and healthy and active.
-- that my husband is giving our daughter a bath.
-- that I can go walking at a park tonight and feel relatively safe.
