Default Under 200

As of Saturday, I am under 200 lbs. AND I've lost just a hair less than 20 pounds now. I can't help but ruin my own happiness, though, by convincing myself that this isn't that big of a deal because I only got UP to 200 lbs five months ago.

Then again, I also weighed 195 lbs at the beginning of last April. That was the highest weight I had been since hitting goal in September 2006. Over this past summer, I lost 13 lbs over 13 weeks, which when school started turned into gaining 35 lbs in 4 months. My point is, I really really want my weight to be going down for good now. I'm tired of knowing what my life is like at goal but not doing anything about getting that feeling back.

Gosh darn-it I deserve this! And even if I scared that I'm wrong, I do actually believe that it is going down for good.

Welcome to Onederland. Darned RIGHT you deserve to celebrate - you're doing awesome. And if you decide, and commit, to having that weight gone for good, you'll never have to see a number starting with a "2" on that scale again.

CONGRATS!!!! I dream of being under 200. I'm at 215 and struggling. I haven't been under 200 in about 15-20 years. I've currently lost 40 pounds and have 40 more to go to reach my goal.

Yeah, school will do it to you every time.
That's certainly what did me in.
You're doing great and don't worry, you'll get there, all you have to do is work your *** off for a long time :-)

Yeah.. I'm running out of desire, energy, and the drive to want to work out. Is that natural? The good thing is I'm not gaining, but my desire to work out right now is terrible. Have any advice.

I actually stopped working out three and a half weeks ago now because I got a job. I get up at 4 am, catch the bus at 5:50 and get to work at 6:30 am, where I work until 3 and get home at 4 pm. By that time I have only four hours before I have to go to bed and do it all over again. What has worked for me is taking the bus to work instead of driving. I walk 2/5 of a mile up a hill to get to the bus stop in the morning, and then I walk another 3/10 of a mile after getting off the bus. On my way home I always walk to a farther bus stop than I have to and get off the bus a stop early.

Hopefully this kind of movement is enough exercise for a few weeks until I get used to this 4am schedule thing.

You are doing great!! Especially with the obstacle of having to get up so early for work and not having alot of time to exercise. Great idea to walk to a farther bus stop too! Looking forward to being below 200 myself!!!
