It is a lite ice cream type sandwich (looks like the new WW sandwiches only these have been around longer). It is round and comes in several flavors. I have heard that they are not available in all areas. We only get a couple of the flavors and they do cost a bit more than regular ice cream novelties. I think they taste OK, but have stopped buying them because the price keeps going up here.

FYI-I have recently pruchased skinny cow fudge bars very good, only 1 pt each, and also chocolate sundae cups, a rather nice size for 2 pts each.
All very yummy!!

The fudge bars are good. I tried them this week. A bit expensive. 4.99 here in CA. I found them at Safeway. I did like the ice cream sandwiches when I first bought them but the ice cream is kind of " funny" Dry, not creamy. I did not notice it at first but after a few times I did. They also don't last too long in the freezer. They get even more " funny". I swear my favorite desert, the one that's really good, and I don't get sick of is the Jello Chocolate Fudge sugar free pudding. I make it with one to two teaspoons instant decaf coffee powder mixed in with the milk. After I have it blended I mix in two to three blobs of fat free cool whip. It makes a lovely mocha mousse. Try it, you won't be disapointed. It's also a lot cheeper then the skinny cows. I make it every three days or so. My whole family likes it. I count it as three points.

So here I am, minding my own business and while I'm doing the groceries....I cruise over the the frozen ice cream section for my weekly dose of a pkg of skinny cows, when I see......CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SKINNY COWS!!!!

OH..... are they good!!! I thought the mint ones were good, but these are so remeniscent of a reese's peanut butter cup!! Try it!!

I totally agree about the Peanut Butter Cup variety- YUM! :P Unfortunately, they are 3 points instead of 2 like the others, but they are well worth it, considering Ben & Jerry's Yogurt is 4 points for a 1/2 cup (the ultimate rich ice cream treat, to me). This is much more filling!

Skinny cows come in mint??? I've got to find those!

I've tryed the chocolate, the strawberry and the peanut butter. The peanut butter are yummy but for me not worth the cost of the extra point. Just found the 1 point ice cream bars too, found them to be very satisfying.

Nope, haven't seen them in Canada - the best low cal ice cream treats I have found are at Superstore (Super Valu). They are made by Good Humour and they have 1 point fudgesicles and 2 point revellos.

I am on holiday in the US and I too have bought "skinny cows"! They are great! They taste like a reg. ice cream sandwich. :D I wish we could get Safeway to order them in Canada.

Hi Ladies. Yes, unfortunately those Skinny Cows are only here in the states. I recently moved here from Ontario, and the selection here is fantastic!!! There is however, a similiar icecream sandwich made by "smart ones" a ww's brand which also is a 2pt bar/low in calories. Or you might try some of the Presidents Choice brands at Loblaws. I seem to remember one of those being low in cals. A really good low cal drink I used to buy at M&M's meatshops is a crystal drink mix made by them. It is a peach drink (sweetened with aspartame) but is awesome. 1 pkg makes alot....I usually dilute it more than what the pkg says, and also make frozen popsicles. They are great!! On my next trip home, I'll definitly pickup 2 cases of these!!!

My local Sam's Club in South Bend, IN has Skinny Cow sandwiches. I didn't buy them because I felt it was too expensive at $9.98 for a box of 12.

One of the posters on these boards did give me a great idea for a frozen dessert. NF cool whip between two graham crackers and freeze it. I plan to try this out when the next paycheck comes in.:D

Hey, thanks for the ifo on the site for Skinny Cows. I had looked and not found them here in NC, but the site says they are definitely here, so I shall look some more, and have printed off th form they supply to give to my favorite Bi Lo to see if they will order them. I have been hearing about these ice cream treats, but this is the first time I have hope of finding them. Appreciate it. mary ann:o

I love the Skinny Cow Mint Ice Cream Sandwiches. I have tried the chocolate sundae cups and the strawberry ones. The strawberry ones were really good, but, the chocolate ones were just too chocolatey for me.

Just an FYI that sometimes when you visit the Skinny Cow site they offer cents-off coupons for the products.

Hi. This is in the newest pamphlet from Weight Watchers. Take two chocolate graham cracker squares, and put a scoop of Fat-Free Cool Whip in the middle. Squoose, just a little, and then freeze until hard. They are delicious. I do not like fat free salad dressing, or fat free cheese. These are wonderful. The pamphlet says they are only 1 pt, but when I entered the values in my little slide-rule, it's more like 1.5-2 pts. They are very very good--try it.
