Will probably start tonight as I have only a couple chapters left on the book I'm reading now. :) Hi Pat, One of my favorite quotes is from Winnie - "If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear." Lynn WaterRat 02-19-2008, 12:49 PM Oh Lynn, that's priceless! I actually read the one in my signature somewhere else and then went looking for the correct wording. Haven't read Winnie in years, though I have a copy from the 40's! Bobbolink 02-20-2008, 10:07 AM Good Morning! Our local library didn't have the book but sent for it from other libraries in the state. They called, it's in. We're driving into town today for errands and I can't wait to start the book. My question is how many people are actually reading this book, how far along are you and are we going to discuss it as we reach certain chapters. Sorry for all the questions but I've never been in a book club before and not quit sure how it works. Bobbi ladyinweighting 02-20-2008, 10:12 AM Good Morning! I'm going to post the first DQ - Discussion Question this week. It will be geared toward the first 100 pages & will be answerable by those who are just beginning the book. Lynn meowee 02-20-2008, 07:02 PM I have yet to lay hands on the book so guess I'll bow out on this one . . . I will likely read all you discussion threads, though . . . maybe that will be kind of like a Reader's Digest Condensed version. gailr42 02-24-2008, 03:32 PM I haven't forgotten about this.
