General Diet Plans and Questions - Bunny Hop Challenge

OK Ladies and Gentlemen - I failed miserably at the V-Day challenge so I would like to try for an Easter one. I need to get my head back in the game so am going to start this thread. If anyone would like to join me that would be great. I'm going to list my goals and see how many of them I actually reach by March 23.
Laurie's Bunny Hop goals:
1. Follow my food plan daily. No veering off course for any BLT's. This means writing and journaling everything I eat. No exceptions.
2. When my new eliptical arrives next week, start exercising at least 3 - 5 times a week. I realize I will have to work up the length of time each exercise period but I will do this in order to be a healthier, happier person.
3. Lose enough weight to get me into the 160's. Currently that's 6 pounds.
If I follow the above 3 goals I will make it. :bunny2:

Since I made a Spring Break Goal, I will use the amount I have to reach that goal, which as of yesterday morning was 9.6 lbs. That will put me at 230.

And I would also like to add that I am only going to weigh myself once a week on Mondays. I am so obsesses with the scale that I think that works against me too. So now I have 4 itty, bitty doable things I know I can do from now until March 23.

I too would like to join you on this challenge. I was 4 lbs away on my Valentine goal. I had set it at 15 lbs. So, for this one I am going to go for 10 lbs. We can do this.

Okay, I'm in! I didn't make my V-day goal, but this time I think I'll set a more reasonable goal for me. I'm such a slow loser...so, I am going to be more practical and go for 8 lbs.
I am going to make a personal goal to get on my treadmill at least three times a week too.

OK I didn't make the Vday goal either but I am bound and determined to make this one! My goal is going to be 8 lbs as well Paula!
I feel like I ususally lose 1.5 a week. So this should be doable. I am excited! That will put me at 173! Let do this!

i haven't joined a challenge in a long while..maybe i will this time around. i'll shoot for 6lbs. that would put me at 190. i've been struggling for every pound as of lately..since i haven't been this low in over 8yrs..so it's hard, but i'll give it a try!

I'd like to join in the challenge if you guys don't mind. I want to lose 10 lbs by Easter, which will put me at my first mini goal of 240 lbs. I also need to make sure I exercise at least 4 days a week.

I am sitting here feeling miserable about my weight and my failed efforts to stick to plan. So, I am recommitted ..I must do this before I shed my winter coats and sweaters for spring and summer clothes!!

I am in. Easter is 5 weeks away. My first thought was to go in for 5#'s but with the challenges I have over the next month I may be in for disaster. I am traveling 3 out of those 5 week so loss may be beyond my grasp. So my Easter goal is to maintain my current weight of 170 for the entire 5 weeks 3 days.
No kidding if I lose any weight that will just be gravy.
My challenge goals:
1) I will exercise everyday
2) I will stay on plan to the best of my abilities without causing personal stress and turmoil.
3) I will enjoy my accomplishments of the last 6 weeks without regret, distress, or sorrow.
4) I will not regain any of the weight I fought so hard to lose over the last 5 months.

ok so i got my ticker up and running. when i get to my bunny hop challenge goal i'll be 13lbs away from my ultimate goal. I cant wait! Ladies we can do this.

I am so excited that all of you are joining me in my quest for the next 37 days. We must all vow to stay focused and not beat ourselves up if we happen to slip along the way. We will just get back up and keep moving towards our goal. We can do this with each other!!!!!!

So far I've done pretty well with my food choices. The eliptical gets delivered this Thursday afternoon so I can start my workouts that very night.

I also failed miserably at the V-Day challenge but this time I vow I won't. I am setting a personal goal to get below 230. I am aiming for 225 which would be 10.8 lbs but as long as I can get out of the 230's and start working on the 220's I'll be very happy. Gonna go and add a ticker now.

My only goal was to not gain during this challenge so success should be within my reach. I just returned from Vegas where I was often forced to eat poorly but all in all I did ok. the scale said up 3# but I think much of that is retained H2O and TOM issues. I will be back in fighting weight by the time I leave for China. That will be my greatest challenge as the food will be great and choices limited. I think it will be worth coming back and having to refocus my efforts.

where are all my challenge buddies? I'm down to 153 but the darn tickerfactory is acting up so i cant change the ticker right now. I was at 151.6 yesterday but for some reason i'm retaining water or something. It never fails, mondays i'm always up from what i was on sunday but that could be because our sunday ritual lunch is subway and usually some FF ice cream after dinner (which i didnt have yesterday but had on saturday). Oh well 2lbs is still great.

My Bunny Hop Challenge starting - Tuesday, Feb. 26
I will drink 9 glasses of water instead of 8 glasses
I will use my treadmill 4 or 5 times a week
Put me down for a 7 pound weight loss by Easter
Current weight as of Tuesday, Feb. 26 (223 pounds)

Sorry, I’m all inspired and obnoxious today. The sun is shining here in Iowa and it’s not freezing out. I’m so sick of this winter weather.
I have been bouncing around the same 5 pounds for a month now. I’m so over it! Time to see a real, permanent loss!! My goal is to lose those 5 pounds for real!
If I make my goal, I am going to reward myself with a nice basket or bowl to put on my dining room table. I will keep it filled with wonderful fresh fruit.

Hey Guys! Just checking in to let you know that everything is going well. I have been following through on all my challenges. I feel good, clothes are feeling a little lose and I have a little bit more energy than usual. It feels as if I lost 20 pounds which I know that is not the case (wishful thinking) but I do feel good.
However, I made a promise to myself that I would not weigh myself once a week due to the fact that I get to obsessed with the scale. So I will post my weight on Tuesday, March 11 which is two weeks from when I started this Bunny Hop Challenge.

Good Afternoon Everyone. I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks. My DD had the baby and I've been helping her out and needless to say, I've gone up on the scale instead of down. So I must report that I am now revising my goal for this challenge and just try to get back down to 173 instead of into the 160's. I know I can do this if I just keep my mind clear and focused on what I know I should be eating instead of listening to my inner fat girl telling me that I can have the Easter candy that's at my house right now!! Boy, is she ever evil!!!!

The scale was my friend this morning! Even after a few too many "liquid starches" Friday night! Down 2 lbs! Very motiviating to stay on track this week, as 2 lbs/week is my weekly goal!
Tuesday, that is awesome that you maintained through a trip to Vegas. Was it business or pleasure?

WI this morning and down 1.8 lbs. I shoot for 2 lbs a week, but since my workout routine went to Hades this week, I won't complain about a good loss. Since I thought it was going to be MUCH smaller.
I have 1.8 lbs to go to reach my Bunny Goal :woohoo:

Great Job KIM! Way to stay POP. I know I would have a hard time eating good if I was pregnant or plannin on being pregnant.. I always thought of it as a free for all. I really admire your positive out look on eating healthy while you are pregnant.
Seriously I love Plan 2 I have lost like 4 lbs in a week. I don't remember losing that much since like the 1st month! I am totally motivated! I am at 175! 4 more lbs till my easter goal! Might be the first one I meet!

Sounds like everyone is doing great.
I did the take off and it helped so much. I'm now down to 242. I've lost 8 lbs for this challenge so far and 25 lbs total since I began. 2 more lbs will get me to my first goal of 10% of my body weight and my goal for this challenge. I can't wait so that I can start on the next 10%.

Just back from my China trip. We were fed three great meals a day and I am sure I gained. Right now I am afraid to weigh myself. Can only wear elastic or draw string pants and my bra hurts.
I need to get back on plan and back in gear. Thinking of trying TO today and tomorrow for a refocus. Must go grocery shopping first as there is no food in the house. Wish me luck I will need to be back at starting place by Sunday.
Glad to be in daylight savings time as I have more time to walk in the evenings.
Traditional Chinese medicine says that you should walk after your evening meal not before.

I WI for the last time yesterday too and I was 1 pound away from my goal. Boo! I will consider myself there though because that is the closest I've been to one of these challenge goals... and I have been pretty consistent with the losing lately so I am happy. Have a Happy Easter all!

Well, I officially did not make goal! All I was trying for was not gaining any weight over the 6 weeks and Failed in the last week! I have been carb loading all week trying to overcome my jetlag. I will not tell you haw much liquid fruit I consumed Friday night and I ate at least 4oz of triple cream brie on baguette for my dinner.
I am up 4# and really look it. I feel dumpy, sluggish and yucky. I just gotta get back on plan.
Today I will get my feet moving and exercise. Tomorrow I will throw myself into a TO. I will not fail.

Amazing enough, I stepped on the scale yesterday and was EXACTLY at this goal weight.
Today, I was up 2 lbs by no fault of my own. Have been POP. Must be water weight or something.
Technically, I made this goal. I'm more excited that I am FINALLY over the 25 lb hump. I am down 26 pounds today and still going strong.
