Hi Everyone,

Hope you don't mind me starting a new thread. I am trying to get back on track and I am at work. Can someone tell me my points range? I am at 163 right now. Also, how many points is one reeses peanut butter cup, Yikes!! Yes I blew it allready. Oh well I am drinking my water good. Well I have missed you all and will try to read the last thread. Thanks for being there for me even though I have neglected you so.

Hi Bren..you weight is really going down!...not sure about the reeses is it a small or large one. I would count 2 for the small and 5 for the large but I am just guessing.. Julie will know! I looked in the WW book and those are right but Julie can still answer for sure!

150-174 is 20-25 pts

Hi Tara. :)

This is late but I didn't get in here yesterday!

Good Morning Everyone

Hope you all had a wonderful V-Day. Bill got home last night around 6pm and I was still at the stables. He got us all Chinese Food which is pretty much a ritual if just the two of us don't go out for dinner. I was waaaay too tired. Anyway, he got me a dozen different colored roses and a huge box of Godiva Chocolates. He gets Jackie one too, just a little smaller. I'm afraid to open it. But then, I share them with everyone so I'm going to try and make these last. I could WOOOF the whole box down with some nice champagne in one sitting. :o
.....but I wont. Been working too hard to get where I am to sabotage myself now.

Hi Bren - Nice to see you again! :nono: You'd better keep getting your tushy back in here more often or I'm going to have to fly up there and give it a BOOT! :p Seriously, it's great to see you here and great job on your weight loss. I'll bet you look MAW-VE-LISS Dawlink!!!!!! NOW WHERE'S MY PICTURE!!!!!!

Have a great day everyone.

Hi There,

Candice, yes, I have been moving steadily down for awhile not, it is hard though. Getting close to being in range finally. I really never thought it would happen. It was one of the regular size reeces cups, yikes shouldn't have ate it but boy was it good.

PJ, Yes I know I have been awful. I have been seeing a really nice guy since the fri before christmas and he keeps me real busy, we go to the casino in connecticut, snowboarding, to the hottubs, out to eat. It is great and I am having a ball. I will try not to be such a stranger though. Oh guess what? Janessa is Prego, a couple of months I guess. I will soon be a grandmother, yikes can you believe it? I am not happy about it because she is definitely not ready, doesn't have a clue. She is still in VA and hasn't even went to the doc's yet just for a pregnancy test, no exam, no vitamins or anything. Believe me I am on her case but not much I can do from here. She also doesn't have a job and may not have a place to stay much longer.

See Ya Everyone

Ok Bren - ......time for Mommy to step in.....even though I know It's going to be a battle. Only thing is, this time it's YOUR grandchild you're talking about and Vanessa is NOT ready to have a child. Or so I take it from our past posts. I hate to say this but you are going to HAVE to give her alermatims (sp?).....if you can....legally that is. I don't know what else to tell you. Is the father in the picture at all and is he willing to help? Email me and let me know ........ I'm here for you AND her.
Hugs,

Just want to drop in and say hi to everyone. I'm still doing the WW thing with my sister. It's an on-going battle for sure.

Take care

SueBee - I've been meaning to write you back after your last email. Time has NOT been on my side but I promise to write and fill you in on lots. PROMISE! .....and it was great to get an email from you. Sounds like you're all doing great!

Susan aka SLF - Same to you girlfriend!!!!!

Have been a bit stressed out lately with getting the house sold (meaning having to have it CLEAN and NEAT at all times).....and moving things over to the "new" house. Then of course, there are the every day things us "Mommy's" have to do.......and then there's the stables and blah, blah, blah........:p .......Just venting.

I don't know about you Candice.....but I've been wracked with pain lately. I usually don't talk about it but it's trying to stop me dead in my tracks and yesterday and today it did. I lay down to take a nap yesteray and wound up taking a two hour nap!!!! Same thing happened today and Bill didn't disturb me so I slept even longer!!!! I suppose my body is telling me it's time to slow down a little. Missy's front right leg is almost totally back to normal. I'll let her out of her stall and paddock on Monday. The Equine Aspirin has been doing wonders for her pain and inflamation. Anyway, I'm just so releived she's feeling well again and we'll be out riding in a few days. She's definitely got "cabin fever" even though she DOES have a very large paddock that she can walk out of her stall to at will. It would seem that it would be like being confined to the house for us. AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!........NO THANKS! HEH-HEH......anyway, I'm off to bed....I'm pooped (no pun intended). Hope you're all well and doing your WW program tracking. :D
"See" you all soon.
Hugs,

Hi Everyone,

Sorry that I haven't been here in a while, but things are really busy here since Kevin got home. IT IS SO NICE TO HAVE HIM BACK WHERE HE BELONGS;)

Bren as for your point range - 20-25 points a day. Remember not to go above the 25 or below the 20. Some members think that if you go below you will lose weight faster but the opposite is true. Members usually go to mid range or the high end.

I too, love Tara's newsletter, actually I do use some of her material when I send my own newsletter out. Thanks again Tara

:)

Well better run, I'm on rescue squad call today and I have a ton of things that need to be done. NASCAR racing starts today and I want my stuff done so that all I have to do is sit and watch.

Have a wonderful day.

Julie

Tara's Newsletter is the best! i love reading all the good tips and stuff in it!

PJ...yes I have been in pain and tired too! Must be in the air..I need to be getting so much stuff done but no energy.:(

Bren.....so exciting that you are losing too and almost to where you want to be!

Julie....Great thought at the bottom...remove instead of loose.

How much protien do we need aday???????? Grams that is and how many calories is 18 pts? Anyone????????????

Hi Everyone,

Went snowboarding friday night and then out dancing, it was ball but I am very sore. Steve is great. I don't think we will be together for long, relationships never work out for me, but I am enjoying getting to know him and spending time with him.

PJ, I wrecked the card for my digital camera so can't use it til I find another one. I need a 8mb smart media card, nothing bigger. It is an older camera so I am not able to locate anything smaller than a 16mb card in the stores and my camera won't handle it. As soon as I find one, I will send you a pic. As for Janessa, she said she is going in for an exam on feb 20th, we will see. Her boyfriend is not someone I like either, I don't like how he orders her around. They have been together for about 2 years though so I guess he will be in the picture. I am glad she won't be alone but wish she was with someone who treats her a little better though. Parenthood is very difficult and it sure doesn't end when they turn 18. Yikes 2 more to go too.

Candice, thank you. Yes it is nice that I am finally getting there. I know that I could very easily blow it though. I have done that many times before. But this time it has been very slow. I have only been seriously working on it off and on for the last year and a half. I find now as soon as I gain acouple pounds I get right back on it and get it off. Maybe I am finally learning some control with this whole thing. Thanks for letting me know my point range, I was definitely overestimating it by about 2 points. I am trying to start journaling which I have definitely been not doing. I am finding it harder now that I am getting closer to goal. My suits that I bought a few months ago are hanging off me but I don't want to spend anymore money right now so I am taking them in. I don't know what size I will be when I reach goal but when I reach it I will starting building up a better wardrobe. Just can't waste the money now and have to do it all over again in a few months.

Julie, so good to see you around. What kind of rescue squad are you on? do you use green David clark Headsets? Lots of the ambulances and fire dept's do? Just curious. Thanks for the info on the points range. I agree that when I don't eat enough, I stop losing. I do that every once in awhile and I stop losing every time.

Hello to everyone else, hope to catch up with you soon. Gotta boogie, housework and shopping to do.

PJ, I am glad you liked it. No problem, share it anyway you want. Thanks for all the great stuff you send me too. I just ate stewed veggies and egg noodles, I am actually trying to count points. I haven't done that in I don't know how long. I am going to plan all my stuff for tomorrow and then take a long bath and hit the hay.

Have a good one.

Hi there,
I was just reading over threads and looking for one to join and thought I'd help you out. Point range for 163 is 20-25.
I just joined WW, and I'm hoping to find some "old Pros" to help me out....let me know what kind of thing y'all usually chat about on here. Thanks, Michelle

Hello and Happy Monday to everyone!

Candice: I'm not exactly sure what the calorie count is for 18 points, because it all depends on what kinds of foods you eat but the average, I think is about 1200 cal., or close to it. As for how much protein, that is also different for everyone. In the WW week 6 booklet, it has a section on what we need to eat for the right mix. If someone weighs more than 225 pounds and are eating a good balance may only need 8 - 10 points, someone who needs more could be 10-14 and someone who needs more carbos needs only 5-7 points. Now this may seem high but the member needs to fit this in with their points range.

Bren: I'm on our local ambulance rescue squad. We are just a small village but we do have to trucks:) We don't use head sets, haven't even seen any of those in my area:)

Hey, don't be thinking negatively about your new relationship, one can never tell if it will work or not. Think positive!

Hi Michelle: I'm a WW leader and I would be happy to help you out anyway I can. I will try and answer your questions for you.

Everyone, have a terrific day.

Julie;)

Hi Michelle and welcome to the nest. It is great to see you here. Thanks for the info on the point range. We talk about anything that comes up actually. Things have been kind of slow lately but things should get hopping soon. I have for one been missing in action for quite awhile, maybe we can get some of the others back. Anyway tell us a little about yourself, I am looking forward to getting to know you.

Calling all the missing owls, time to come out and play. The nest needs some action. Where are you all??

Hello there:

Just reading the posts to see how everyone is keeping.

PJ: Do you realize that it was 2 years ago to right this week that we visited you in Florida? Wish we were going somewhere sunny right now. It's been very cold up here lately and getting a fair bit of snow. Long for the sunny south. Yes, yes, yes...............do write me a letter soon and tell me what everyone is up to.

Have a good day everyone.

Thanks for welcoming me to the group....Well it's day four on this WW ride and I haven't cheated a bit. I'm really liking this whole journaling thing, and finding it a fun challenge to ration points and find low point "fill-me-up's".....I get to go and weigh in on Thursday again, and can't wait. I put my own scale into storage so I'm not tempted to weigh myself everyday like in the past, I want to be surprised on Thurs. And I figure since I'm banking points everyday, I should see some results. I've totally fallen in love with Skinny cows, I think they're the best invention since the remote control...he he. Any other 2 pt and other snacks that you'd have let me know....I'd love to have more options....I'll keep y'all posted.
Later,
Michelle

Julie..I know about the right mix page but I wanted to know the grams of protien we need????????????? What kind of reduced calorie margerine do you recommend for the WW baking recipes???? (waht do you find works best)

Bren.......snowboarding sounds like fun can you fly like the kids in the olympics!;)

Hi Suebee..who are your cutie pies??????????

Michelle..soudns like you are doing great..hope the Weigh in is kind to you! Don't get bent out of shape if it is not..those things happen! Any new tips you learn along the way please share with us! I love the skinny cows to and Dh does too! I have to hide them from him! Do you know about the Whipped Peanut butter for 3 pts for 2 TBS????? (Peter Pan makes it) :)

I have been taking benedryl for my drainage(giving me a sore throat) and it make me so tired and I don't need that! I spent today trying on old clothes agoain..I have to just picth some of these they just don't look good on me anymore..getting old is the pits! Everything droops! :o

Good morning.

Sue: Those children are sure cuties, I take it they are yours:) how old are they?

Michelle: Oh boy, I have to agree with you, those skinny cows are the best, I do prefer the chocolate ones myself. Did you know that you can take a package of the vanilla smoothie, make it with skim milk then break up a vanilla skinny cow and whip that in it too. OHHH what a treat! I'm also happy to hear that you dumped your daily scale habits. Some members do ok with checking their weight everyday but others don't.

Candice: Sorry my friend, I really don't know the amount of protein grams we are supposed to take in daily, I just know the point range for our daily intake. I will check my manuel to see if it says anthing about that. As for reduced cal. margarine for baking, I really don't have much luck with that. I use the regular Blue Bonnet margarine. Many of those light ones have to much water in them and don't work well with baking.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good Morning everyone,
We have the flu going around in our neighborhood....our best friends and their kids have all had it, and my hubby spent his holiday off from work in the bathroom....I'm hoping I don't get it, so far so good. I watched that Janet Jackson concert on HBO last night, and man I want her abs....she's in her forties, and I'm 26....I think I can, I think I can....lol Well for now I'd just like to be under 200 lbs, that's a little more realistic. Good music to get up and dance to though. Well I suppose I should get the morning chores done......two more days til I weigh in....can't wait.
Later,
Michelle

Julie..when a WW recipe calls for reduced calorie margerine do you just use regular and does it riase the points????? I prefer butter to margerine if I'm gonna bake the normal way..but these recipes call for the reduced calorie stuff..I have never used it!

Michelle..all that dancing she does she can probably eat anyhthing! Brittney too!

Raining here and another cold front going through..hope I can go for a massage today, haven't been in along time! So far to drive when ya don't feel well!

Eating well......so far!;)

Hello everyone and happy Hump Day (the middle of the week:)

Candice: If I remember right, I did buy a blue bonnet lite margarine once for a recipe that called for it, I just don't like the way things tasted when I used it and I think that it just has to much water in it. So the answer to your question is yes, I usually just use regular margarine and the recipe does come out ok. I just make sure I add the points.

The weather here in N.E. Wisconsin has been veryb mild, up near 40 degrees. Last night we got a downpour and now they say that snow is on the way. Oh well, the snow at this time of year won't last long.

I'm really happy that I was able to get another At Work WW meeting started yesterday, that makes 8 meetings I work in a week. I love my job:)

Hope you all have a terrific day. Watch those portions...and for the meeting topic this week.............don't eat to feed an emotion, eat only to fuel your body.

Hi everyone....
I had pizza last night, and was convinced that I was cheating....figured my points, and I was right on...though it was the first day this week I didn't get to bank any points, but I was stuffed and didn't eat another bite all night. I weigh in tomorrow night at 5:30 pm and can't wait....I'm so excited. Haven't been doing so good on my water, so I need to down some more of that today. I find it's easier to drink my water room temp or right out of the faucet...than ice cold...but they say ice cold burn 40 calories a glass because your body has to warm it up....so I'm torn...lol.
I'm looking for a low point cheesecake recipe if anyone has one...I'm always craving cheesecake and brownies.
Let me know.
It's dreary and drizzly in Iowa this week...had some flurried this morning, nothing to measure...I'm looking forward to some sun, and getting outside and walking.

We really did get a lot of snow yesterday. Not enough to call off school today I'm sure. Our kids did get out early yesterday because the roads were getting slippery.

Michelle: You will have to let us know how your weigh-in went. About those recipes for cheese cake or brownies....I know I have some but I will have to look for them. When I find them, I will post.

How is everyone else doing? Getting enough exercise, water (which I have to have ice cold or it just won't go down). Next weeks topic will be about exercise......guess I will have to come up with something different to do, you can only talk about exercise for so long before people get board.

Take care.

Had my first weigh in last night, and I lost five pounds in my first week exactly. My friend lost 5.4...so we both got our bookmarks....yeah!!! So it's onward with my second week....and today all of my banked points are gone too. So we'll see how this week goes. I'm really excited though....can't wait to weigh in next week now...

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to check in real quick and say hi. I am going snow-boarding tonight at Wachusett Mountain with Steve and Saturday I am putting down a new carpet in my living room and Sunday Steve is taking me and the girls to the Monster Truck Show in Worcester, so it will be a pretty busy weekend for me.

Michelle, congratulations, doesn't it feel wonderful?

Wow, where is everyone? Setina, Emmy, PJ, Tara and everyone else? Come on out and play.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone

Hey Michelle, what wonderful news. Now take that bookmark and put it where you can see it on a daily basis. It really helps when you get the urge to over eat, or eat because you are bored, stressed, happy.........

Have a Happy day:lol:
