i saw the recipie on hungrygirl and its

butter nut squash skin and sliced like fries put garlic pepper and spice and in the oven on a cookie sheet spray oil for 45 mins @ 450 and turn 1/2 way through .and here is the easy part make you chili what you would your for phase 1 like turkey chopped meat and black beans and Chili power..etc.

then when the squash is done you put it on a plate and dump the chili on it with fat free shredded cheddar cheese and fat free sour cream

You can have these fries but no cheese. :) Good even without the cheese!

Butternut squash isn't allowed on Phase 1, but it would make a great Phase 2 recipe! :drool: And we can have cheese, as long as it's fat-free or lowfat.

The only squash allowed on Phase I is spaghetti or zucchini.

yellow summer squash is also allowed on phase 1 since it is a summer squash. But you do have to wait on the winter squash.
