SCraver 02-11-2008, 04:08 PM I haven't tried a low-carb diet - so I may not know what I am talking about. But from what I have read, your brain (amongst other parts) needs carbs to function properly. I would think that it would be dangerous to go below 20 grams on a regular basis. JerseyGyrl 02-11-2008, 04:09 PM Going below 20 carbs might cause you to lose weight quickly at first....but...your body will go into starvation mode and hang on to what it has to compensate for what its not getting and your weight loss will stall out. As odd as this might sound...losing weight requires eating. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
