Ok, I had to get ready to go get my taxes done an important thing so something I should do even though I just had RNY. I decided to "help" my overworked daughter who was doing everything and has been for a week....
Going into the kitchen I thought "I might need a protein shake when I'm out!" so I went about making 3...I wouldn't need that much for the rest of the day but the package said 12 oz of milk...so I must. Got out the hand blender and succeeded in making the shake, succeeded in getting the blender almost to the sink BUT I failed to unplug the blender and caught the edge of the container and succeeded to spill all 12 oz of the delicious Champion chocolate shake from my 21 sampler! Yes, it was delcious...I tasted a finger full off the counter before my daughter cleaned it up!
I said sorry about 5 times.....and yet, still trying to "help"...
I went to the fridge and was rumaging around the back of the fridge for the yogurt, juice and broth my daughter put in there the day before, I picked up a container...elbowed the milk... which fell to the floor! It was sealed as were all the containers I knocked into trying to catch the milk. They dropped one by one on to the floor with the milk! ...and the cheese I think! At that point saying "Sorry!" "I'm Sorry!" I was pushed from the kitchen by my worried daughter, "Out! you are going to hurt yourself! I'll do it"
I gave up, and gather my things for the tax people, my folder of info, my wallet to pay them, and of my icecooler with my shakes in it and 3 water bottles just in case (I guess it's old thinking pre-op thinking still)
Anyone guess what happen nexted.....Anyone....
I dropped my wallet sending my credit cards and money to the ground, I went to pick them up, after a few choice words, and Dropped one water bottle sending rolling under and car and out in to the street then another then another...I'm holding my stomach and saying hahahahaha because I can't really laugh without pain, as I retrieved all the wayward items got in the car before Kellie finished cleaning up the last set of messes I made and came out.
I was panting when Kel got to the car and she asked me "are you OK??"
"Yep. hahahahahhahaha"
I was trying to help in a "normal" way but am not yet!
