And I don't mean the way we all want to shrink...lol.
I was always considered a very tall girl. Especially because in my country of origin average height is around 5' or shorter!
I always felt self-conscious and always wanted to be shorter. Imagine that, not only I had a weight problem but also a height problem!
When I got measured for my height I was told I was 1.73 cm (metric) so when I moved to the US I was telling people I was 5'7" because according to my calculations that was close enough. Then people started saying oh no way, you're taller. So I said fine, I'm 5'10". I suppose I could've asked someone to actually "measure" me, but hey, that was too much work.
So here I was throwing my 5'10" all over. And after years the curiosity bug got to me, I asked DH to measure me. Looking a little puzzled he went ahead and got the tape measure and wouldn't you know it, I'm 5'8".
Now I had to lower my ideal goal weight by 10 lbs.
Hence the reminder on the left, God forbid I shrink again!!!
I know, silly story, I just wanted to share.
