100 lb. Club - FEBRUARY Points Challenge (This has NOTHING to do with WW)

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE...the holidays are long gone and we are already 1 month into 2008! How about a challenge to help us keep it going!!! It's somewhere to check in...some friendly competition. Come join us for our monthly challenge!!

Since this is a monthly challenge, it will start on the 1st and the day of the month is the day of the challenge. You need to post your points on a daily basis (or whenever you can). Simply reply to this post and then edit that post as you add points (no columns please). That way you always know where you are and so do I! I will calculate and post the totals, on a weekly basis.

For those of you who have NO IDEA what I am talking about - here are the details. Sometimes we work our hardest when we are held accountable. So I challenge you to do your very best for the month and we'll see who wins!!

Here is how it's going to go. Starting tomorrow, February 1, 2008. We will try to do the 3 things that work. Food, water & exercise. You decide what your food plan is, how much water you want to drink and how much exercise you want to get every day. Every day you have the opportunity to earn 4 points.

2 point for sticking with your food plan (no splitting points here, you either stuck to your plan or you didn't)
1 point for drinking the amount of water you decided on
1 point for getting some exercise. (If you don't exercise on a given day - you DO NOT get a point for exercise - even if you planned it that way)

Post here with how many points you've earned for a given day, and I will keep track. We'll see who's did the best for the month.

This is a very cool way to keep on track, because even if you don't do so great on food, you might still get in your water and exercise to earn the points!

January was my first month on this challenge and it really helped me refocus - my focus this month will be staying within my calories even though I cant do the intensity of exercise I want. (wow.. I think I replaced emotional eating with emotional exercising?!)

food: 1700 calories or less
exercise: Pilates 3x a week. walking 3x (bad knee if I do any more it just gets worse). knee strengthening stretches 7x
water: 2 litres

2.15 - 1 over my calories by a couple hundred and I'm getting a cold... since I have MS that means I need to be as careful as possible so all body temp raising activity (cardio/hot showers) is on hold. If I'm still sick tomorrow I'll cancel my plans.
2.16 - 3 and i'm down 2 pounds despite last weekend. woo! (definitly sicker though. ugh)
2.17 - 3 still incredibly sick with a cold/flu but nothing MS wise has come up yay!

Haven't been in here for a long while. Not that I haven't been at my "diet". Been at it way too long!

Jan. 17, decided I was going to get it together, and keep it that way!
My CURVES is having a BIGGEST LOOSER contest. Just based on FAT %. I will be amazed to get anywhere near winning!

My plans, well I decided NO MORE "mindless" eating. In otherwords, EVERY calorie counts, and I am counting everyone!

Trying to stay around 1300 , then do a cycling as well, to keep the body fooled!

The other plan is to get SERIOUS about strength training!

Well I am joining a little late, but I guess I can see how I do!

Exercise: Do something that makes me sweat for at least 30 min a day.
Water: Usually not too much of a prob, but we will say 8 glasses of water a day.
Food. Keep working on my habit of overeating. I want to keep down the junk and not get stuffed.

I update on the weekends, so it's always the next weekend. The 1st was on a Saturday, but I wanted to give people time to update.
