My hair is really long, and I'm looking for styles other than a ponytail or a braid to wear both when I'm exercising and when I want something more elegant. Any tips?

MrsEnigma 01-31-2008, 02:18 PM I don't have really long hair now, but I did when I played basketball in school. The best way I found to keep the hair all up and out of my way was to make layers of ponytails. Not really sure how to describe it. I'd start with the front part and put it in a ponytail. Take that and add hair to it and make another ponytail an inch or two lower. I'd do this until I had at least four ponytail holders in. For my everyday style, I'd use wide headbands. My hair was heavy and those were the best kinds - especially if they had the combs in them to keep them in place. Thanks! Nori71 02-03-2008, 06:32 PM I have long hair and I ponytail, loop it (ponytail tucked up again in the band), put it in a Chignon (a bun that sits on the nape of your neck) or up in a claw with the ends hanging down over the claw. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
