Hi all,

I am new to the site. I am living and celebrating my final year in my 30's. Before I hit the BIG 4-0 I would like to shed some major pounds. Fortunately my birthday does not come until December, so I have practically all year to reach my goal. So far, I realize that I have not been doing to well, but my thought is that if I long into the sight daily, I will be able to reach my goal.

I too will be 40 this year in Nov, so I feel your pain. this website is a huge help in me losing 12 lbs already. I have found a place to let loose instead of getting that pint of ice cream out! I have posted in this group a handful of times and I'm not sure if it is that everyone is really busy with their kids (I have 3 under 6) or that turning 40 is just too scary to talk about but I've not had a lot of feedback here...hopefully your experience will be better. I wanted to make sure you knew that you are not alone. I hang out more with the Fat Smash dieters and the feather weights, but would certainly love to talk about getting old anytime you like! so from one old broad to another

Thanks, for welcoming me. I am not that down about getting old, but hope that the site will give me LOTs of support during my weight loss journey.
