I'm officially down 75 pounds! Got my cheap little magnet & my tiny gold sticker and I couldn't be happier! I think I was more thrilled to update my ticker.

Goodbye forever to all these numbers on the scale:

330
320
310
300
290
280
270
260

Farewell, so long, & goodbye numbers! I won't miss you! :p

Thanks to all of 3FC for the support and, of course, for allowing me to celebrate all the little things :o

Congratulations! Can you give us a summary? High point? Low point? How many dress sizes have you gone through and do you feel light now? I bet you look great :)

Congratulations! Can you give us a summary? High point? Low point? How many dress sizes have you gone through and do you feel light now? I bet you look great :)

Hrm. A summary. I'll try to keep it as brief as I can. (I'll write my novel for when I make & maintain my goal ;))

I actually wanted to join WW 6 months before I actually did, but I'm lazy, and I couldn't find the darn building. (Turns out it was BEHIND another building on something that wasn't even technically a road... really trying to keep me from going there...)

Finally found the place, joined up. Have followed the Flex program (that's point counting for those who aren't WW people) and am feeling super! I think I echo a lot of people on 3FC who say that it's been a commitment more than anything. I did it without realizing it at first. I told myself outright... in the mirror no less!... "No matter what happens, I'm doing this for myself, I'm going to my meetings and I'm sticking with it!"

Looking back on it, that first week was my high point. I realized that if I actually put effort into losing weight, that I could! It was like some lightbulb went on in my head. Before that first week, I was an honest believer that I just couldn't lose weight. Turns out... I just had never tried  Sometimes it still baffles me that what I do (exercise, eat healthier) causes a weight loss on the scale.

Anyway, my low point must be really recently. Back in December, I was off a week from work (woo-hoo) and completely lost it health-wise. I ended up gaining 4 lbs at my following weigh-in. Not to mention I had been back to a usual routine for a few days before my weigh-in so I believe I actually originally gained a few more than that truly. I had to forgive myself for this entire binge/junk week, and move on. Lessons learned the hard way! It was tough, but it's now in the past! :D

It's strange, but I don't feel or see myself any differently. I have the feedback of a few other people who say I most certainly do look different, but I just don't feel it. I think part of that is I do have a long way yet to go. :)

I actually don't know how many sizes I'm down. First of all, either luckily or unluckily, I do not change sizes often. I'm pretty much 50 lbs a size. At least, up at these numbers I am. I began a 24 Lane Bryant Pants. (In desperate need of a 26, really.) But they changed their darn sizes just as I started changing my eating! (WTF Lane Bryant??? How can you do this to me? I'm not a size "6".) I believe that I am now in a 22. (From an old pair of pants I have.) Also, aside from being lazy, I'm cheap. I haven't bought any new clothes... I just bought an adjustable belt!!! >_< That's right, I look dumpy, but I feel great ^^

Thanks for asking Missy3gal! Hrm. Sorry! That was certainly no brief summary. I bet you all can't wait for me to write out a novel then ^^ Mwa ha ha ha

We're around the same point and I dont see a big difference in myself either... it's kinda driving me crazy. On the other hand... losing 10 pounds now is actually easier to see than at the top of our ranges. way to perservere
