Once a week.
I was going to do it just once a month because of past failures when I didn't lose, but I'm finding I'm stronger this time and will give once a week a try.

I weigh myself every morning and every evening. It's amazing how your weight fluctuates throughout the day. I don't know why I weigh myself twice a day, I just do. :dizzy:

When I started this, I planned on doing it once a week. Well, I have ended up weighing myself every night. I will probably stop doing that when I stop losing every day. (Watching the numbers go down every day is a HUGE motivator right now, but I know that won't last.)

I also officially weigh myself every-other Tuesday for our town's Biggest Loser, every Friday for my school's Biggest Loser, and every Thursday for my accountability partner and myself here at 3FC. Whew! That's a lot of official weigh-ins!

I weigh every morning, first thing after using the bathroom. I ignored the scale for far too long. It has helped me learn that fluctuations are normal and the trend it what counts. It also keeps me accountable, so if I did go way off my plan the day before, I don't get to ignore the scale. Yes it may shoot up a bit due to water retention, but with for me, ignorance is NOT bliss, it is a prescription for gaining.

I used to pretty much everyday but now I've switched to weekly (Thursday morning). I guess I realized I wanted to see one big loss rather than many small losses. Still, the temptation is great to check everyday.

I started out weighing only once a week - then, I'd sneak in an extra one. I may start weighing every two weeks. I am at a plateau now & That number just spins in my head and I start obsessing about what I want it to be or what I think it should be.

I am trying to concentrate on lifestyle instead of that d**n number. It's hard to do.

I weigh every morning and the weight and body fat percentage gets written on my calender. It's a conscious reminder every morning before I begin my day of why I'm doing all this.

I 'record' my weight loss weekly though, each sunday morning. (oooh tomorrow is weigh in!)

I have only been weighing myself once a week, but I do plan to change that to daily as soon as I start seeing major results. I want to stay in tune with my body so I can see what works and what doesn't. Probably will only record it once a week though.

Every morning....it only "counts" once a week, but I have to have my eye on the scale so that I don't slip.;)

Once per week, 3 times If I get the same number 3 times within an hour then it counts LOL

Of course, when the battery gets wonky, I'm DOWN 6 lbs...UP 5 lbs....UP 12 lbs ahahahahah ALL IN ONE HOUR

I record my saturday morning weight in but I check how I'm doing in the middle of the week too.. or if I'm feeling tempted I go step on the scale. lol

Every Friday. That way I can relax a bit on the weekends and tighten up more during the work week.
