Weight Loss Surgery - Tired of fighting the fight

Hello chicks,
I used to be a regular at the 100 lbs forum. I would lose, then gain, then lose, then gain... We all know the drill. Well here I am, approaching 30 years old, and at my highest weight ever. I'm tired of fighting.
So I decided to have WLS. I have my consultation scheduled for the 4th of February for Duodenal Switch surgery. I'm excited, nervous, and a little scared. But I am confident in the procedure, surgeon, and hospital I chose, and I am going to do everything I can to get myself ready for surgery.
:D:D:D
Good luck to you on that. I hope it goes well. =) After awhile of dieting with no permanent results, I know it can be frustrating. Just do what you have to do to make yourself happy in the long run. ^^

Boy do I know what you mean! I have lost more then 100 lbs 8 times in my life! Plus all the little 40 lbs here and 25 lbs there...just to end up larger then I was before! I can just imagine the toll it must take on the body...
It does feel good to make a decision to get some larger tools to help out, doesn't it?
Come here when you need help and support at every stage...it really helps.
hey, I have surgery Feb. 4th! :)
Good luck honey!
