Hello, I'm Sally-Ann, I'm 39 years old, living in Southampton, Hampshire. I am looking for fellow dieters to inspire me, as I have 5 and a half stone to lose & I certainly want to shift a bit before my 40th birthday in June.

Hello Sally-Ann welcome. I stared losing weight when I was 39, it took me a couple of years, and when I had my 40th I was about 12 stone 5 and a size 16 but I felt great because I knew I was on my way down. I had a surprise party and my friends had taken me out and did a kind of Trinny and Susssanah thing on me and I wore white trousers for the first time in my life, and a kind of halter top. When I look at the pictures now even though I'm quite big still I look so happy. I got down to about nine stone 4 last year but I've put a bit on but I'm confident I can get it off. I'm still in size ten trousers
which to me still amazes me after being 15 stone.

I am short with a June birthday!

Hi, I'm trying to lose 5.5 stone too. I've already lost the first 4, its taken since feb 06. Best to take it slowly and make sure you excericse.

Welcome Sally-Ann I want to lose a total of 7st12. To date I have lost 2st2, so another 5st10 to go. When I was here last time I lost 2st12, regained it plus some extra. I'm determined to keep it off this time. Mind you not been going at it for a year yet so feel I am doing well.

Hello Sally Anne! You live near my mum - she lives near Beaulieu.

I too have to lose about 5.5 stone - unwards and upwards - or should that be downwards!
