Hi all,
I'm new to this site and this lifestyle change. Today is my first day of following Dr. Oz YOAD. So far so good. I figure it's helpful to me if I record what I eat and I thought it may be of help to others.
B=Cheerios w/skim milk,1/2 cup apple juice, decaf tea
L=Veggie burger on whole grain bread w/lettuce, onion and tomato paste, water
S=Plain yogurt w/berries, 2 water
D=12 almonds 20 min before dinner. Salsa chicken, brown rice, corn and green beans, water
S=1 oz. dark chocolate and 1 orange, tea
Also I did 30 min of walking today.
I found it pretty good today except for now. It's after 10 at night and I'm hungry. It's too late to eat anything. But what can I expect after the Christmas eating. My body is use to more food and more unhealthy choices. Take it one day at a time.
Day 1 down, the rest to go.

Hope you don't mind my title change - let's make this a weekly food diary - we've done this in the past with success.
Here's what I ate today:
B - ww english muffin w/natural peanut butter
S - Breyer's Light yogurt
L - EZ mac with tuna (not a great choice, but I planned poorly!)
S - handfull of walnuts
D - ww pasta lasagna
S - sf/ff pudding, skim milk
Not the best day, but WAY better than it's been in a while. I stopped eating after 8:30 tonight, and it's killing me, but I know that's one of the keys to my success.

So far so good. Day 2 has went well
B - Omelet with 1 egg and 3 whites, veggies, and small amount light cheese, skim milk
S - coffee
L - Veggie burger on whole wheat english muffin with onion, lettuce, tomato, and tomato paste, water
S - Plain yogurt, pineapple, raisins, water
D - Nuts 20 min prior. Salmon and brown rice pilaf, water
S - popcorn, water, tea
Now it's 2 down the rest to go.

Thursday's food diary:
B - oatmeal with protein powder
S - Breyer's Light yogurt
L - homemade lasagna, walnuts
S - Kashi TLC bar
D - Wendy's chili and baked potato
S - shredded wheat and milk
Much better day today, although I'm still struggling with cravings and hunger. I know this will pass, but it's annoying right now!

S: Granny Smith Apple
L: Spring mix salad/walnuts/flax seeds/with Lite House Salsa Ranch dressing (fork dipping)
S: Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding made with skim milk
D: Homemade Vegetable Soup

L - Walnut and chicken salad w/vinegar and oil dressing, water
S - Low fat smoothie and banana
D - Whole wheat pita with chicken, veggies and pineapple, water
S - (Will be) dark chocolate, orange and maybe a tea

Friday's food diary:
B - Kashi toasted oat bar (a bit high in sugars)
S - Breyer's Light yogurt
L - Out at Applebee's - their WW Chicken-portabello sandwich - is actually served on a 100% whole wheat bun, and comes with a side of fruit. I LOVE this!
S - walnuts, 1 oz. Kashi whole grain crackers
D - out again - chicken marsala with a side of sauteed spinach. I must admit I had one slice of Italian bread, but NO pasta!
S - dark chocolate, shredded wheat with milk.
My last snack was after 9pm - past my 8:30 deadline - need to work on that!
