100 lb. Club - Give me motivation to excercise!

I'm doing great on the calorie counting, and my food intake in general, but for some reason I can't seem to get my butt into excercise mode. I can't afford to join a gym, and walking around the neighborhood is not a good option for me. I know that sounds odd, but there are good reasons, I assure you. Anyway, what I need is something that I can do in the privacy of my own home. I have ordered the Walk Away the Pounds video but I haven't received it yet. I am hoping that once I have something that I can follow, I will be able to stick to it. It's hard right now, since I don't have anything to follow. But, I still need something to keep me motivated.. any ideas?

I do the same as Jeri!!
also to burn fat faster you need to build up your metabolism, and the only way to do that is to exercise!! how is that for motivation. i could go on and on but just spend only 15 min a day taking a walk. that is a great start! You can do anything for 15 min!! (flylady talk! :D )

I have injury that does not allow me to walk. I began this food journey thinking I could lose without exercise.....well you can for a while. Then you have to speed up your metabolism.
I use Richard Simmon's tapes, also work with exercise ball and weights. Hope I can inspire you by telling you that I have lost 90+ lbs (took a year) and would not have been able to do that without exercising. Sill have more to lose so I am still at it and will have to exercise the rest of my life. Those walking tapes are excellent. Try it and let us know.
Good luck
I totally understand about the exercise, and the need for it after going 13 months without-loosing 60 lbs, then NOTHING I needed to shock my metabolism and scare it into moving..lol I care for kids 12 hrs.a day so I can't get out as I should,so yesterday I decided to retry my Simmons tapes and involve the kids (2-2yr. olds,2-3yr. olds)with "dancing" It worked for 30 min. and it wore them out for naptime (yessss) so I'm trying to use this 3x a week for myself, and maybe more.
Wish me luck! sue
