100 lb. Club - If your weight remained the same...

Something got me thinking recently. (I can't remember quite what.)

For those of us not quite yet at goal (or even those around goal), if your body could magically transform itself into the body you want, but the numbers on the scale would stay the same, would you choose to have that happen? Or are you attached to the numbers?

For me, I know if with the wave of a wand I could have a trim, toned & healthy body at 266 I'd do it in a heartbeat!

I'd want the numbers to change, too. This might sound a little silly but... I want my bf to be able to easily pick me up in his arms and carry me around :D

This is totally too easy for me. If you would of asked me this back in January I would of said I want the numbers to change. Being much more intelligent about some things after these months. I would be happy to be in the overweight category if my body fat could be down to 25%. The number on the scale is no longer important to me but my body composition is. I wish I would of known my body fat back in January.

Well yeah! It's not like we walk around with our scale weights tattooed on our foreheads.

Similar question:

Would you rather be a slim, toned, size 4 and weigh 180 lbs, or would you rather weigh 120 lbs and be a size 18? (let's say a height of 5'5", medium build woman).

I'll take slim & toned size 4 and 180 lbs!

Glory87 - Heck yeah I'd rather be the size 4 at 180! That's the sort of thing I mean.

Easy one for me - the number on the scale is only one indicator that I am losing fat and getting fitter. Trim, toned and healthy is my goal. I really don't care WHAT the scale says.

The scale is just a number . . . and we are so much more than just numbers.

I'm not concerning myself with my "goal weight" too much -- I have a feeling I will know what I want once I get down to 170/150. I don't mind being in the overweight category at all, but if I feel like it I might go down further to "normal", who knows.

People already think I weigh less than I do....which is really not important to me but yes If I could be a size 4 and weigh 180 I would be more than happy.

I love to see that scale move down as its much needed confirmation that what I try so hard to do actually works. But, if I was small, I wouldnt care at all what the scale had to say. Although, I do wonder....would I look in the mirror and see a slender body? Or, would I still see myself as fat? Hmmm...

I'd be happy with a smaller stomach. It doesn't have to be flat. And smaller boobs. And a thinner face. As for the rest of my body, I'd be happy if it more just smoother, as in little to no cellulite.

I'd like to weigh less for practical reasons, not vain ones. By that I mean, if I ever needed to be carried to safety, I want that to be possible, I want to put less wear and tear on my car, my joints, my heart etc.

If I could have the body I want, shape and size wise, I'd make it so, now! The weight is less important to me and is important to me only for the type of reasons listed above.

180 and a size four and I'd be happy! Although I've always had a weight goal on my ticker, I really just want to be a single digit - I'd be thrilled with a size 8 right now.
