I want to walk for a half hour a day but I notice when I do the whole half hour at once, i'm less likely to do it and I go slower so the workout isnt as intense. What I'm asking is if it is better to exerice once a day for a half hour at a lower intensity level or twice a day, 15 mintues at a time, with more intensity both times. Please let me know if you have any advice.
My 2 cents:
Break it up into two sessions. As you get more accustomed to the walking, you can slowly build up to longer sessions if you wish. I work out in the morning and in the evening. And, like you - I get a much better workout that way!
yeah i would definantly do 2 15 min sessions! in fact i do that anyways but i have like a walking exercise i do in my bedroom, i walk/jog on the spot to my fave music, gets me nice and out of breath so i know its workin lol i do that twice a day, 15 mins each
