Hello everyone! I decided that I need a change in my eating habits for the better and wanted to get healthy in time for the holidays (and my birthday) here I am, stepping on to the Beach for the first time! Looks like a great forum here!

The first few days are the worst, for sure. But at this point I'm not too bad with carb cravings at all, which is wonderful. I just hope that I'll start to feel or see some results soon, because honestly I don't feel much different :(

Dflip :welcome: I'm glad you stumbled accross us. It took me til the end of the first week to notice a difference and it was a big difference that I noticed. Keep at it - it's well worth it in the long run. The girls here have alot of info and support to offer so be sure to keep posting so we can follow your success.

Welcome to the forums! I am not currently doing South Beach but have in the past and did notice a difference in phase one as far as weight loss and energy. I agree that the first few days are the hardest but it gets easier!

:welcome2: dflip. When I first started Phase 1 it took about 8 days before I noticed a difference. Hang in there I'm sure you'll see and feel it soon.
