Hi all,
I'm on day four of phase one. Any suggestions besides eggs for breakfast? Also, can we have sugar-free pudding in Phase 1? I ate some yesterday and today and now read that some say yes and some say no.......I'm feeling pretty good

elturben-
check out the recipe section for non-egg breakfast ideas. And no to pudding -- there are starches in there. I'd stick to sugar-free jello! or the peanut butter cup, YUM!

:welcome: to the beach!

:welcome3: elturban! Sorry, pudding isn't allowed on Phase 1. :( As an alternative, you can have plain nonfat yogurt with a little SF jam or a SF flavored syrup added. Several of us really enjoy FF Greek yogurt with agave nectar and a few nuts, it's very decadent!

:welcome3: elturban! My DH is from WI too...are you all set for the big game tonight? I hope Dallas is shaking in their boots! :cheer2:

No, unfortunately, SF pudding isn't okay in P1. It's fine in the other phases, though. I love the little pudding cups as dessert--they're great portion control! ;) If you are craving a different dessert, try the PB cup (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40576) (it's so good that many of us continue eating it in Phase 2!) or the ziploc ice cream (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41445). I find that cottage cheese with cinnamon, splenda, and a serving of ground flaxseeds is really yummy, as is yogurt with SF syrup and flaxseeds.

As for not eating eggs for breakfast, I wrote the book! Not really, but I personally hate eggs and have never willingly eaten them. :barf: So I started a thread on Breakfast Alternatives to Eggs (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57532)since it seems like most people get tired of them after a while and I had lots of ideas! Tons of Beachies added their ideas and now the thread is a wealth of great info and recipes. Enjoy!
