Morning everyone! It's Monday! Urgh! I'm glad, because w/e's are harder on my eating and exercise habits, but on the other hand.............it's 5:45 a.m.!!!!!!!! I wish I was still in bed!

Well hope everyone had a great w/e! This is turkey week! Wow, time has flown by! I did not have a loss or gain to report last Thursday, but, unofficially I did get on the scale this a.m. and I saw it move!!!! Just a smidgen, but yet a smidgen I won't past up!

Is anybody planning on any low point dishes or desserts that they want to share?

Again, have a great day!

Good morning everyone!!! I can't believe that it's almost Thanksgiving!!! My weigh-in days are typically on Friday's. But I think I'm moving it up a day this week and going to do it Thanksgiving morning!! I'm not worried about overeating - but I am worried about the salt and water gain. My in-laws are so excited that we're going to be here for Thanksgiving. We've brought our nice china and we're all going to take part in cooking our favorite dishes. Should be a lot of fun!
I lost 2 pounds last week (I think I already posted about it over the weekend). My husband helped me "train" yesterday. We went walking around the lake (3 miles)...and he pushed me to "baby jog" on parts of it. We ended up "baby jogging" half of it! When I say baby jogging, we did smaller steps than a regular jog. It was easier on our knees and harder on our butts! I was SHOCKED that I was able to jog as much as I did.... and then he took me to the gym and trained me on the weight machines. I want to get a gym membership now. He's so great at training and explaining and kicking my butt! I need it for this week, that's for sure!

Hope you all are doing WONDERFULLY!

My beloved Gators are not going to be playing for their conference or national championship (that'll be next year!) But, Tim Tebow did break a big NCAA Football record Friday. I was so proud That means it's time for a new avatar - hmmmm.... this'll be fun!

Hi all!

Well, I weighed yesterday and I lost 4 pounds last week! This week we'll be in the hospital most of the week (Travis' surgery is tomorrow), so I'm not going to be concentrating on losing as much, but just maintaining that loss! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Congrats to the losers!

LondonJulz--We haven't talked about the Gators in awhile. I've been so mad that I couldn't bring myself to type anything about it. Tim Tebow has been having great games. Defense...that's a different story. A lot of people think he may win the Heisman Trophy even though I believe they said a quarterback with 3 losses has never won. We shall see because he is fantastic. We have to play Dale Junior Fan's team next. I'm looking forward to that.

Well, no movement on the scale yet again. I knew starting to exercise would make my system say WTF? and I have been eating out more lately. I have not gone over pts it just means I've been using all of my extra flex points.

Hello! Ladies. I did ok last week but have been avoiding the scale. I just think I will weigh in next week. Maybe I will shock myself.
I will also keep your family in my prayers for Travis's surgery.
I do daycare and all of the kiddies are asleep so I think I will go enjoy a little quiet time.

Hello all!!

2 more days til Thanksgiving and I am so excited!!! My diet this week has been completely BLAH because I'm saving up for Turkey Day. It's one time a year that I get to enjoy those kinds of foods - so that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I haven't had any days where I dug into my extra weekly points for about 3 weeks now! I know you can't carry them over into the next week - but I'm just glad I haven't been using them. I work the day after Thanksgiving at Macy's. It will be my first day on the floor. That should be fun.........

Hope you all are doing well!! Mom2 - you all are in my thoughts while you're in the hospital with your son! Update us as soon as you can afterwards!

Posting from the hospital, I have my laptop and a wireless connection!

Travis is doing well. Surgery was 3.5 very long hours! He's a little sick, sleeping now. Tomorrow will be the test of how he's really doing. I'll try to check in. Thank you all so much for the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers!

Happy Hump Day

I have been so busy the last few days, but I am making myself post today. I have been cooking all morning and this afternoon I will spend baking. I know I did not make my Thanksgiving goal, at least I don't think I did, I have not weighed in a couple of weeks. I will get back on track after tomorrow anyone need to join me? I am almost scared to see the damage I have done, but I have been drinking tons of water.

Anyone going to brave the malls on Friday? I will be right here at home shopping online I never get out in those crowds. If your traveling this holiday be safe. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

Mom2: I will be keeping your family in my prayers. I am glad the surgery went well....please keep us posted!!!! Congrats on your loss!!

London: Good luck on the job....I hope you don't pull your hair out...lol!!!! Congrats on your loss as well!

Jeanne: Congrats on your smidgen As for me, low point, no!!!!! Pecan pies and red velvet cake....I think not...lol!

Likenoother: Where are they playing this week? As a seminole I should know this stuff, but I am more a Nascar fan than anything else!!

I am late in joining...

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.

I weighed in and lost 1.4 pounds last week. Not to bad considering I am now bloated.

I stayed within Points on Thanksgiving and am very thrilled. Christmas and New Years should be easy!

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, and general well wishes. The good news is we're home!!!! He has done so well, so much better than when we did the other kidney. He has another surgery in 6 weeks and that should be it, no more surgeries!

Hope everyone had a good holiday. I'm thinking of doing a tree trimming gathering on Sunday since we didn't get to do Thanksgiving this year. Just have low key snack type foods and some football and put up the tree with my kids and my parents and maybe my grandma if we can get her here. Maybe that can be my "Daddy holiday" tradition so that if the kids are with their dad for Thanksgiving I can still have a tradition that is special. Anyone have any "different" traditions that they'd like to share?

Julz - - First off, congrats on breaking into the 100s!!!!! Doesn't that feel incredible? Secondly, the child life specialist brought us a birdhouse to paint and decorate in the hospital and asked if I had any preference in colors. I said I didn't and she brought me royal blue and orange. I told Travis "we're going to paint a Tim Tebow house". We did, and he keeps calling it a Tebow House instead of a birdhouse. I thought you would get a kick out of that!
